I took it back, explained, etc. The tech was very understanding and agreed to make it right - a few hours later they called and said the home button broke during repair. Fine, accidents happen. We went over a few options, which seemed pretty reasonable, and we ended up asking them to just refund the screen cost and move the new battery to my wife's phone, which also needed a new one. Not the best, but given the circumstances, something we were willing to work with. We came back after the second round of repair was complete... And after getting home noticed new damage to the screen in my wife's phone (the corner is now lighter than the rest, with a nice streak down to the middle). I'm honestly not sure I want to go back to the same place for yet another repair even if it's free. 4 stars for customer service, 1 star for technical ability. 5 stars for speed of service, but if it isn't good work, does speed matter?

Interstate Batteries had taken my previous batteries and had them tested to advise me on whether or not they were still a good battery. They had informed me that all for batteries were dead and I needed to purchase new ones. After purchasing 4 new ones I drove to my campsite only to find out that they did not give me back my battery cable post caps Which secure the cable to the post. Needless to say my entire weekend was ruined. When I left a message regarding the missing items from my old batteries nobody returned a phone call. I showed up two days later and was confronted by the owner's son approached me with the I don't give a shit attitude towards me. Troy told me his MGR could help us with info on shops and hotels in the area. I went inside and spoke to Armond the Mgr. He was very concerned about us! He informed us of a few shops that might be willing to take a look. He made SURE that we knew auto zone does NOT have any affiliation and that these were only leads. Sure enough we found a guy and he was able to fix our van at 7pm at night!!! Armond was very informative,kind and made sure we were ok. He went above and beyond! My husband and I made it home safely that night! Oh,and in case you are wondering,the van was mis firing on two coils. The mechanic only charged us 50 bucks! And he isn't a *backyard*mechanic..he owns his own shop. Accurate automotive. Only 5 mins from auto zone. The parts (in which they only had two!) Were only 102. Bucks. I was told not to worry about saving the receipt as everything was saved in AutoZone's computer. long story short that motor went bad and when I went to exchange it for new one the information had been entered wrong. it was listed under unknown vehicle and only a partial part number. the assistant parts manager helped me as best he could but he said I would have to get it fixed in the system by the day shift manager it was a lady , I don't remember her name (nor do I want to ). the assistant manager said it happens often because of the personnel turn over and inexperienced workers not familiar with the computer system. I tried reasoning with the lady manager to no success. I have bought all my parts from this store for the last 5 years. because of my experience with this manager I will never buy from Autozone again and I will tell everyone I meet of my bad experience with Autozone.
