Poor Customer Service - Won't Be Returning Ladies, if you're looking for good customer service, this is not the place. I purchased a windshield wiper blade from this O'Reilly location about three weeks ago. Today, I tried installing it myself but couldn't get it on properly. I returned to the store -- which wasn't busy at the time -- hoping for some quick assistance. Instead of being greeted, I had to interrupt "Sheila," who was watching something on her phone. I explained the situation, and her response was, "They shouldn't have let you walk out without installing it for you." I asked if she could help me, and she followed me out to my car and said, "Give me a minute." Several minutes passed. I went back inside and found her helping other customers, with no explanation or follow-up. No one else offered to help, either. Frustrated, I left and drove to South Denver Automotive Garage -- not even a mile away -- where someone kindly installed the wiper blade in less than five minutes. I'll be taking my business there from now on. This O'Reilly location has lost a customer. read more

I came here for a battery for my Subaru and some fluids. Unfortunately this chain does not install batteries. I was happy to do it myself in their parking lot but needed a wrench or pliers. They say they will lend you the tools, but they did not have a ten mm wrench to loan me. Nor did they have a pair of pliers. So I returned the battery. They have a ridiculous set of priorities in my opinion. They lost a $160 sale because they did not have a $5 pair of pliers available. What a way to run a business!! Other auto parts chains are happy to install a battery for you - and I am heading to one of those. read more

Armani was amazing! Came in with a dead battery and super corroded terminals. He was able to get the terminals cleaned up and battery replaced. Very nice guy and very professional. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a battery replaced for sure. Lots of parts and interior cleaning products inside as well. Store was clean and all staff were very helpful but Armani was 10/10 for sure read more

I wanted to just purchase a soda pop here just to see if my new debit card would work. After a second failed attempt for my card to work the guy behind the counter (who just arrived) told me "to get the hell out." I guess that the kind of service you get at O'Reilly's. read more

I don't have enough nice words for how phenomenal the staff was!! I hate dealing with car stuff these gentlemen made it so easy. Both of my headlights blew out, and the cap encasing them was stuck. Ricardo helped me not only remove the stubborn cap but sent me inside to grab some new headlights while he worked on getting the other unstuck. David helped me check out with my new headlights, and by the time I finished checking out Ricardo had already installed them for me. Kind and authentic people. Will most certainly be back! read more

Rude employees three workers in there only one willing to help. Do better in your hiring. I asked a gentleman to help me outside and he willingly did, when I come in to pay for something else, the other two employees are just sitting there talking and laughing, making me stand there and wait for the other employee to come back. Odd experience here. Bought a battery for my truck from a different location a few months back. Unfortunately, my battery died. Thank goodness for warranties, eh? Yes, thank goodness. Came in at about 730, with 2 employees and 2 more customers in the store already. Waited about 20 minutes before they free taken care of, and was approached by an employee. Thinking it was a pretty straight-forward situation... I was wrong. He did a quick check in the system, then sighed and the following conversation took place: Him: "Yes, it has a warranty, but we need to test it first." Me: "Oh okay, let's do that." Him: "Well, it takes about a half hour to do." Me: "Okay, let's go ahead and do that." Him: "...deep sigh... well, I have to hook it up to a system." Me: "Okay... let's hook it up?" Him: "It can take a little longer than a half hour." Me: "It is 740... I have time." Him: "Even if it takes longer?" Me: "I cannot start my truck without a working battery." Him: "Oh. Okay." Ended up taking 15 minutes to test. Ended up swapping batteries for me. Ended up sighing a half dozen more times. Dude straight up tried to get out of it. If it was like 855pm and you close at 9, I can sort of understand. But, it wasn't even 8pm, you had a solid HOUR left. Do your job. Don't try and get out of it. I spent money of a product of yours, it failed within warranty... test the damned battery. I tried to stay patient (I was able to), but it was an excursion I certainly did not want to take, and the employee acting like I was putting him out by using my warranty was pushing it. Weird, cause the location I bought this from in University Hills was crazy helpful, nice, and attentive. Not coming back to this location, even though it means driving further to do so. read more

I have never had such a poor customer service experience. The staff is rude. Choose another auto parts store.

I went to go get a part that holds my battery in place and was told by grease monkey that it would be really expensive and that it needed to be installed at the grease monkey. Aaron at O'Reillys off Colorado Blvd, found the part and installed it for me all for free!!! He was very helpful and considerate of my lack of knowledge of the issue and I am so thankful to him. I walked in with a broken part, and the manager immediately asked if he could help me. I said: "I need a new one of these". He walked me to the part of the store where they were and found the exact same thing. He even asked if I would like to buy something cheaper and he could use the cheaper item to fix the broken part I came in with! I said no and bought the new one, but I am nonetheless grateful that he was so considerate. I have also never been helped so quickly in an auto parts store particularly one as busy as this place was when I walked in on a Sunday afternoon. I came here because it's close and the other reviewer said she got great service. I'll drive across town next time. The sign on the door said they help you with minor things, so I didn't think the location of the power steering fluid reservoir would be too much of a task. Apparently, it really is. The woman who checked me out said it will say power steering fluid. She had no desire to venture out on a 50 degree day to show me. There was a man working on another car. I asked him if he could help me when he was finished with the couple he was working with. He said yes and promptly went inside to check out other people. I thought maybe he wanted to wash his hands or something. Nope. He was at the register 5 full minutes later when I went to see if he was coming back. Finally, I asked a managerish looking man who did answer my 30 second question. 20 minutes later I was on my way. It should have been 5 and I was on my way to work. Don't bother with this shop if you don't already know what youre doing and are under any time constraint. If customer service is their priority, like the sign says, they missed the mark by a long shot. read more
