    The inside of my remote control

    I was joyfully washing my car on one of those days where it's warm and sunny in Denver, happily anticipating a clean car in the middle of winter, until suddenly I realized that my car had locked me out. Trying not to panic because my key wouldn't work to open the door, I realized that the battery in my remote control must be fried so I managed to unlock the car, and drove straight down to this Advance Auto Parts store. They immediately knew which battery I needed, supplied the tools to open up the remote control, and even helped me close it, since at first I mistakenly closed up the remote control backwards, and the buttons wouldn't work. The device was tested by the entrance with one foot in the door, and Walla! The car beeped, and my life was back to normal. Cannot fathom how much a locksmith would have cost to fix this one, and to fix the problem just for a new $5.00 battery, who can complain. The diodes are pretty complicated to understand, and might be worn out, but for now they work. And of course the next day the temperature dropped and we had a big snowstorm.

    These guys rock! Installing a new battery even when its sub zero outside.

    Cody was kind, helpful, and entertaining. Had to get a new battery and he even got a cart for me to get the handle-less battery to my car.

    Not sure about the service. But they do close up and lock the doors no less than 10 minutes before that are actually supposed to close.

    came by yesterday to drop off some dirty oil after an oil change, it was my first time dropping off…read morethe oil myself as my brother usually helps me. i didn't know that you were supposed to dump it yourself, so i just handed it off to someone working behind the desk. as i walked away, everyone in the store laughed at me :( it was my first time and i didn't know i was supposed to dump it myself, or even where to do so, and instead of explaining that to me or showing me how, everyone just laughed. my brother explained to me later, and i just felt all the more embarrassed. it's already hard enough to go into an auto parts store as a woman. you guys suck.

So I googled where I could get my battery changed really quickly and well THAT DAY, and saw great reviews for Advance Auto Parts. I gave them a call, and they said they had a ton of my car's type of battery in stock. I actually bought it online right before I arrived because there was a discount code for online purchases. I got there, and all they did was make sure it was me, and immediately changed the battery on the spot, made sure my car turned on, and no electronic resets were done! It took about 20 minutes for everything. I also got some service refund at the end! Wallie(?) was great, and even told me to take pics of my receipt/warranty because the ink fades! Great service. Would come back again.

    My daughter (who lives 1000 miles away from me) had to get her car repaired. I was so anxious as…read moreshe has only lived in Denver for a couple of years and we really have not had any experience with finding a great mechanic. She had purchased the vehicle from Carmax and also purchased the extended warranty. They basically handed her a list of Mechanic shops to choose from but we literally knew nothing about any of them. She ended up choosing the shop that was closest to her house and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Travis was the best! He was very communicative, never pressured her to spend money on non-necessary items, also never tried to upsell her on repairs that she didn't actually need. They fixed her car in a timely manner and assisted her with filing the claim (apparently there is a paperwork process when you use a Carmax approved shop?) anyways, he made sure that was all handled correctly and all of the necessary repairs were included. It's hard to be 1000 miles away and let your child handle these things by themselves... luckily (for everyone involved) they were amazing to work with and everything went great. We will certainly be back if she ever needs any car repairs in the future.

Then, why did I come to you??? Then, added 4 other recommendations. When I asked if the diagnostic could be netted against the other repairs, was denied. So they did nothing for me except took $140 to tell me to take it to the dealership. The representative was argumentative, uncooperative and rude. Very frustrated.

I loved that they have a 24/7 drop box and we were able to drop my car the night before that was helpful in terms of not having to worry about my car in the morning. From the time they opened to when they called us (or really my husband) it was a few hours. We were able to decline or approve what work would be done on the car. My car needed a lot of work. And we opted to get some stuff done as well since my car is almost at 100,000 miles. They said it would take a few days since they had to order parts. It was completed quicker than I had thought. We were able to pay the invoice online and pick up our car after hours. A few days later, we noticed something was leaking in my car. We took the car back. And since it was covered under warranty they were able to fix it. Thank you for fixing my car absolutely quickly. And it's running a lot better. Everyone here was so friendly.
