The person quoting doesn't even know how modern tracks on a car windows work! The actuation switch went bad and these guys were basically telling me everything inside my driver door was bad And that it would take them till Tuesday starting from Saturday to finish said job. The other location had not completed everything I paid for and there was a new leak with a subsequent check engine light that came on as a warning. Then we I got there later that day. They said they did everything I asked for. when I went to pay I asked about the air filter and was told that no, they don't have one that fits my car. I explained my phone call and asked if they could call around to other shops I could go to that would have the right filter. They refused and the only solution they offered was for me to walk across the street to a parts store to get an air filter. I asked what I need to know to get the correct one. The little information they told me was not enough to get the right one. So, I ended up with the wrong filter. I have been into this location several times, and the conditions of the building are absolutely terrible. You can see mold on the walls inside the waiting room. Everything is dirty, the lobby is not clean, the bathroom is atrocious, there's holes in the wall. The lobby was extremely cold. There is no coffee or anything warm to drink. and there never is. When I asked one of the employees why it was so cold, his response was we have been without heat for over 6 weeks and this particular day just happened to be -0 degrees. Went in for a routine oil change on my car earlier this year at this Grease Monkey location. 79 miles from the sticker, my car's engine is locked up on the side of the road. Upon further investigation, the oil filter had completely vibrated loose from the bottom of the car. Whether incorrect filter, or improper installation of the filter, i'm now left with no car. WARNING! On 3/4/24 I brought my car in for an oil change. After a long wait the mechanic told me the job couldn't be done because a wire is in the way. Told me it was a liability issue. So I went to Jiffy Lube the next day told them what they said and they didn't see a wire but they did notice that there was ABSOLUTELY NO OIL IN THE CAR. My favorite part of this place is the service countdown clocks that reset when they reach zero. The one my car was waiting for reset twice before they ever took it in (it was next in line). All told it took over an hour for an oil change even though there were only 3 other people there. What earns them the one star is they got grease all over my car! It's not a new car, but it is new to me and l try to keep it nice. I didn't appreciate having to clean the seats after waiting that long for a simple oil change. This place is a disaster. I got my oil changed earlier this year and asked for new windshield wiper blades. The person at the counter said that if I paid in cash my total would be $50. Unfortunately for them I used a credit card, so I paid around $80. A few months later my car wasn't running as well so I took it to the dealership. Turns out the GM staff didn't top off any of the fluids and they installed broken windshield wipers. After all is said and done, I've paid almost $200 for this oil change/wiper replacement. I wish I could give less than one stupid star to this place. Had an absolutely horrible experience here. Their workers can't even put a skid plate back on properly. The car is brand new with no previous undercarriage damage or issues. Never in my life have I witnessed not once but twice my skid plates got ripped off after trying to just get home from an oil change. They did not tighten the oil filter, so oil sprayed all over. They also didn't close the air filter box and got oily hand prints all over the white leather interior. I took it back and they did a poor job cleaning it up. I got home to find that the car was still leaking, now through a cross threaded oil fill cap and the oil is below the fill line. This was the most pathetic oil change I have ever seen. I refuse to go back to have the oil topped back off, and will likely have to pay for an oil change at a different location now.
