Jiffy Lube - 1 Star If I could give zero stars, I would. Took my car in for a routine oil change, and they managed to strip the drain plug threads on my oil pan, which I only discovered after my car started leaking oil all over my driveway. When I took it to a real mechanic, they confirmed Jiffy Lube's careless work ruined my oil pan, forcing me to pay $800 to replace it. If you care about your car, go anywhere else for an oil change. Jiffy Lube's incompetence cost me way more than I ever saved by using their services. Never again. read more

I mean, I got oil put in my car. Standard job for jiffy lube. They changed a bunch of setting including the trip mileage on my car, which idk why they would even touch that but they screw up the count on there for me. They also tried to tell me my brake fluid and coolant needed to be flushed and changed. My main mechanic, Sam's Automotive Repair, told me they're fine and I didn't need any of that. They either didn't know what they were talking about or they were trying to scam me. I think they were trying to rip me off if I had to guess, they showed a low level of coolant in the overflow reservoir, if you took off the radiator cap then the fluid was 100% full, I couldn't even put any more in. So I wouldn't go for any reason other than an oil change or to get washer fluid topped off. Find a quality mechanic for anything else. Sam's is great and always saves me money, they legit talk me outa spending money on services. They have also done work for free on little things! read more

I used this place when it was the "Lube Shop" owned by Jim. He retired and sold it to Jiffy Lube. This was the first time I had returned since the sale and I was worried it just wouldn't be as good, less personable. I'm happy to report that the service level has been my maintained. The staff were friendly, genuine and helpful. The service only took 25 minutes and I was on my way. My only complaint is I feel the synthetic oil change is a tad expensive and I'm not a huge fan of Pennzoil products and that's all they offer. Overall, it was a solid experience and I felt well taken care of. read more

I came in for an oil change for my Jeep Grand Cherokee in February. In May, about 2500 miles later, I started noticing a huge oil spot in my driveway. Today I paid over $2,000 at another shop to have it repaired. The cause was my oil filter adapter and housing had been overtightened so it cracked and caused a huge mess dripping all over my transmission. I'm sad because the customer service here was great - they were kind and fast. They tried to upsell me on air filters which I can do myself so I always decline, and they didn't make me feel pressured. Just really disappointed that taking it here resulted in thousands of dollars in repairs. It's worth it to pay a little more for more experienced and quality oil changes somewhere else. read more

I waited and waited and finally they called me to tell me that my car was DONE. Aren't they supposed to ask me permission first before working on my car? I have been going to jiffy lube for years, taking my vehicles and my mom's for oil changes with no issues, until April. I took my jeep in for an oil change and less than 3 months later my gauge came on saying I needed an oil change. I am supposed to be able to go 5000 miles in-between changes and no way do i drive that in 3 months, only going into the office 2 days a week. I was supposed to go out of town in the morning so I thought is check the level and check it when I got back. But low and behold when I opened my hood, there was no OIL CAP and i had oil all over. Had to rent a car to go out of town and when I came back took my jeep to a diesel mechanic because who knows what got in my oil and had to purchase a new cap which was special order and cost over $100. Talk to them at jiffy lube and they were going to pay for the cap but I had already ordered it and couldn't cancel, they refuse to pay for it. I will never go here again or take my mom's car either. So disappointed with them. One star only because I don't do none. read more

After a long 7.5 months without my car, Jiffy Lube finally finished putting a different engine in but returned the car to me in a dangerous state. I took it directly into another mechanic to have them inspect the work that was done by Jiffy Lube to ensure the work was done correctly as we have had some massive issues with this location over the last year, and to replace the front rotors. When he took the tires off, he found two studs broken and one spinning. I find it negligent that Jiffy Lube did not disclose this information to me. Had I been on the highway, things could have been very disastrous to myself, my family, and others on the road. The replacement of the engine required the wheels to be removed which would have been impossible for them to miss these broken parts. read more

8 Months to solve the issue! Diagnosed as cam shafts, initially. They are replaced with what turns out to be faulty parts. So we're back in to have them done again. Issue is not solved. Now we're diagnosed with faulty cylinder heads. They are replaced and the issue persists. It is determined that there were faulty parts installed and we now have damage to the engine block. Now we wait while the dickering begins between the parts manufacturer (Power Torque) and Jiffy Lube as to who is financially responsible for the motor replacement. We are generally uninformed as to any developments or lack there of, as we wait and wait and call and text, and while the vehicle sits, and what communication we do get is either a brush off, or an outright lie. We finally solicit an outside mechanic to accompany us and give us his take on this mess. After an assessment, he agrees that a new engine block is indeed needed, and that he just so happens to have one. He works a deal with Jiffy Lube to supply the motor(as of this writing, he has not been compensated). The motor is delivered and we watch as our vehicle sits behind the garage for another two weeks. We are well beyond two separate delivery date promises at this point. Of course, as these dates come and go, it is us, who have to do the pressing for information and updates. While our vehicle is now home and seems to be running well, the blatant disregard for timeliness, inconvenience, and communication is inexcusable. read more

Small shop, Big smiles! This place Rocks! I had two estimates. After two estimates at other places I called a former mechanic friend who gave me this recommendation. What a relief to save thousands of dollars! I knew my power steering pump was going out, so before I replaced all the lines and pump he put some dye in the pump to make it easier to discover the leaks. They told me to come back in a week. Of course, I didn't. Now I'm taking, it back for the pump and now my brakes. Local business, great staff. read more

First, they robbed me of all my money. Second, when i got my car back, some parts of it were missing that weren't before. Not very reliable.

My car was having some issues and I took it in to be assessed. Theo checked out so many things to figure it out and, when he found it, he took the time and effort to explain it to me. He did not mansplain it, he just told me. He didn't try to sell me. He was honest, extremely knowledgeable, and provided superb customer care. I will keep taking my cars to him. I will not go to a different oil change station. Jiffy lube, grease monkey. They're all a crap shoot. I went into a jiffy lube for an oil change and came out with a bigger problem. They had broken the line to my coolant and then tried to claim it was already there... The guys here are honest and don't try to up sell you. They're efficient and get you out relatively quickly. They are pretty busy so that's the only reason why you may have a wait. They have a pretty bare bones waiting area. But I will trade a nicer waiting area for this place because I trust these guys to actually do a great job every time. They will even tell me about problems they encounter and make a recommendation as to where I can get it fixed. read more

I took my SUV in for a what should be simple oil change and coolant top and transmission flush, the next day I came to work and noticed my SUV was leaking, I called right away to let them know that something was leaking another jiffy lube manager and worker came to look at my truck and told me to take into the shop where I got the oil change and other things done come to find out my water pump was leaking they said it needed to be replaced it costed over $3,000 to get it fixed, went to go get my truck a week later and found out a my SUV was making a noise that wasn't there before dropping it off we had the mechanic that worked on the water pump take drive and he told us it was another issue so we fixed that for another $394.00. everything was ok after a couple of days my check engine light starts flashing to find out my ignition fuel connecters were broke and then I went to put gas try to turn my truck back on and it wouldn't start my battery was full of acid as they replaced the battery cables and spilled all the acid all over my battery which ruined the battery when it was still good for two more years and that costed another $244.00 and they didn't put my screws back on to hold my front grill in place and they also didn't put a clamp to hold my filter. I Thank God I was able to figure these issues with an honest mechanic. I have always taken very good care of my SUV and since I have taken my vehicle here, I have had problem after problem it has been a completed nightmare, and they will try and make it seem like they didn't cause the issues that you are having. I do not recommend taking you vehicle here if you don't want a tun of issues after and have to spend a fortune fixing all the things they messed up. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! read more

I had an appointment at 12 to get a Lyft inspection, he informed me once the 2 cars ahead of me were done it would take 5 minutes and that they don't do appointments. I ended up leaving because I can't sit around for an hour for somethint that could have been done in less than 5 minutes when Lyft gives appointments times. If you don't do appointments then don't partner with Lyft who sets the expectations that you wont have to wait an hour for a simple inspection thst they are overcharging for anyway read more

So I've been coming to this place for about 15 yrs or even longer . I have to say service, with the new management the urgency and customer service has definitely changed unfortunately. This place is a diamond in the rough! A friend told me about it. Then when I needed my oil changed I checked it out. No pressure, good people, fast and priced right! Personally I put fully synthetic in my car due to high mileage and they have the best price I've found! But I've sent a few family over since and they all agree. We won't go anywhere else any more! This place is a scam. I usually come here for my routine oil change. I've been here number of times every time I come they try to tell me somethings wrong that isn't wrong and every time it's something different all times I've never gotten what they say is wrong fixed and magically It's fixed when I come in for my next oil change. The two fat guys that work there tried to tell me I have an oil leak. I park on a driveway every night and my car never leaks, but they told me it leaked out before they pulled it into the bey. Then proceeded to show me the oil stick, which had absolutely no oil on it and said I had no oil in my car at all. Keep in mind I still have no lights on in my car and no oil under my car. They didn't even wanna do the oil change instead they wanted to charge me $550 and tell me my oil is leaking and it'll just keep leaking unless I get something fixed. My oil has never leaked, I'm sure I would notice piles of oil on my driveway. I told him that and he said while you drive it leaks but not while it's parked. If that was the case then why did you tell me I left a puddle outside of the Bay. This place is just a scam like I said last time my transmission was leaking but its just magically fixed this time but now My oil is leaking theyre a whole scam. I've been a frequent customer here for the past 3 to 4 oil changes. I'm never coming back here again trying to make a quick buck instead of actually just do a damn oil change. read more

I have been goong to The Lube Shop for about 5 years now. We have 3 cars and always take them there. Jim, Dustin, and Ron always do a great job. We also use them for all of our out of warranty service on our cars. My wife's car had some major Heater issues, they could have taken us to the cleaners, but ended up being a simple flush and it was solved. I have sent many of my friends over for repair service on their cars as well. They are regular customers now too. I even had Jim put a Teraflex lift on my 2004 Wrangler and it turned out perfect! In life we all need trustworthy Doctors, Lawyers, and Mechanics. I definitely have my Mechanic and Lube Service. read more
