I've been procrastinating this task for MONTHS now. My mail and rebate gift card came in last night so I thought I'd use it!! I stopped by, it took two seconds to find the item I needed. Tony, the best O'Reilly's employee in the entire nation, processed the entire thing quickly and even took an extra step and offered to help me install the light. The entire transaction took no more than 10min, and even that's exaggerating. I'm still early to brunch, I have a new headlight, and I'm so happy my day has been so productive thus far. Much nicer than the shady O'Reilly on Mission. I came in looking for a replacement bulb for one of my cars. The place was clean on the inside and wasn't particularly crowded. Unfortunately, while I did find the area for car bulbs, there was no catalog to match the right bulb with my car. Walked up to the front and was greeted with a friendly sales guy. Great customer service and prompt attention. - Parking: easy to find since it is located inside a shopping plaza. - Price: a little pricey, but installation is free. First, they checked our car's battery, and warned us that we would need to replacing it soon. So, we were decided to get it replaced on the same day. I drive a older Chevy Silverado. I call her my baby. As she is turning 25 this year, her age is starting to show. Parts are wearing out and sometimes problems just drive you nuts. My son in law located a problem with my blower motor and pulled the blown fuse located under the dash and BEHIND the glove compartment. I take it to my local parts store and the parts guy says it'll be in at 3 pm. Fine. I'll be back at 3. This is where it gets tough. My son in law leaves the glove compartment door off to make the replacement easier. I go back and I'm waited on by a young female. I used to have the mentality that a female didn't belong working in a parts store. I mean c'mon, would you buy a dress from a guy working in a female clothing store. Probably not. Welllllllllll excuuuuuuuuuse me !! This young lady who goes by Dulce ( that's candy in Spanish ) blew me away !! Her customer service skills are amazing and so was she. I'm 62 and have a bad back so climbing under a dashboard isn't something I can do easily. I asked her if someone could help me put it in. She smiled brightly and said sure. She yells over her shoulder " hey I'm going outside real quick ! " It was real quick. She was done in literally less than one minute. " All set " she grinned as she unfolded herself from beneath my dashboard. She said if I had anymore problems just come back and see her. She told me she learned about cars in school. Suuuuurrrrrrrre girly I said to myself. A pretty Mexican female who works on cars....lol. I would soon eat my thoughts. Fuse popped again, so I return with questions. I was first helped by another polite female. Ooohhh, strike one. She turns me over to an Assistant Manager...strike two. Very knowledgeable but I start to get into electrical diagrams and he's struggling. I had asked for Dulce but she was out and as I spoke to the Asst. Manager she came back in. Same huge bubbly smile and personality. The Assistant Manager asks HER a question and she answered a probable cause. He had that " hmmmm " look on his face. He quickly turned me over to her. This kid blew me away !! I had a schematic in front of me. I kinda sorta had an idea as to the location of my problem. Dulce spins it around and looks at it and the look on her face was one of determination. She not only finds my fuse in question but explains the circuit in question to me and how my system worked and why it kept blowing. PROMOTE THIS PERSON NOW !! She comes back out after I couldn't crawl under the dashboard. Still smiling and crawls under the dashboard , pops it in. I'm back to blowing A/C. I have my diagram on hand and my problem will be solved soon. Thanks to the staff at O'Riley's but more so to Dulce. I'm taking all my questions to this young wiz kid from now on. I bought a headlight on Amazon.com for $6.50. Installed it with my youngest son's help and was excited because we did it without taking the car into the dealership and getting gauged. My $6 headlight started failing immediately. Not because we installed it incorrectly, but because it was a $6 headlight. In the meantime, my other headlight failed and I felt like I was driving without my headlights at all. I stopped into O'Reilly out of necessity and as luck would have it, I ran into a great employee - Moises. He helped me get GREAT headlights for my car. I didn't pay $6 but $50 for a pair. I was willing to spend a little more for higher quality headlights after my last experience and Moises pointed me in the right direction. Besides that, Moises was also willing to INSTALL the headlights for me. Huh? Really? Okay... for free! It took him about 10 minutes and I offered him a tip. He refused. What a great experience overall. I wrote this review on the O'Reilly Survey site of Moises: Moises - He greeted us quickly and in a friendly manner when entering the store. He helped us figure out the headlights that we needed and much to my surprise, he offered to install the headlights for us. I offered him a tip, but he refused. He is the epitome of an exceptional employee and I he gave me the impression that he is an upstanding human being. The top radiator hose for my car spun a leak! Seems the radiator hose for a 2006 Kia Optima is a hot commodity because nowhere from Mira Mesa Blvd to Escondido has one in store. The nice gentleman this evening was able to order a new hose for me in a jiff that will be ready here tomorrow morning, which is the earliest time any company was able to estimate. read more

Showed up minutes before closing to get a bulb for a headlight. The doors were already locked with the gates closed inside... ALL LIGHTS ON! The employee was at the counter then ran to the back once he saw us at the door looking in. You can't really get any worse than that. It would have taken just a minute to get the bulb. Going below and lower gets you one star. read more
