I really had a puzzling problem with my car. I rode my bike here and told the crew! They helped me fix it and gave me their best advice. In my haste and preoccupation with my problema, I forgot my wallet at home. Now, I was thinking, I have to bike back home, to get my wallet. The attendant noticed I had an iPhone, and although my main credit card was in my iPhone wallet, somehow, I had never used it. He showed me how simple it was, and I bought the tool I needed! Core charge. They make it impossible for you to actually get the core charge back. At this level of inconvenience they may as well not include the idea of the core rebate. - What's more, they are spitefully unwilling. Almost jolly at the notion of inconveniencing you. 10/10 for practicing your patience, if that's what you're looking to do. read more

My gosh what a crazy and fun visit! So much to see, so many toys and fun items from the past. Coming back for the band, too! The draft beer selection is incredible. The staff is more than welcoming and the food!! The salad is spectacular and fresh. My favorite part is the calzone! We all had a different calzone, mine with a vegan cheese (they have 2) and so many toppings to choose from! We definitely got our money's worth. I'm stuffed and I know we have a huge portion of salad left plus the calzone. To me, it seemed a little pricey until I received the food because it was a lot and worth it. i was at the O reilly parts store in Starke today and may not return! I had got my order in front of me at the counter ready to pay with my money in my hand on the counter and leave. The moron in front of me at the counter working there answers the phone and starts talking to some one while Im standing there 10 minutes. .... Ok so He hangs up and it rings again and he answers it..... again 8 minutes I wait with cash in hand.........WTF .... so finally he rings up my order and I hand him the cash that is in my hand to pay , He say oh your paying with cash... he cancels my order and re rings it up anther 5 minutes to do that... One of my pet peeves is a parts counter person waiting on someone on the phone thats to lazy to come to the store and a paying customer waiting to be checked out or waited on... Crappy customer service at this store. read more

This is not your typical "zone" or "discount" type of auto parts store. We used to refer to them as candy stores because all they had was little cheap accessories and really crappy parts. This is not the case with O'Reilly, Especially the store! It's sad but that's a rarity these days. Both the guys behind the counter where seasoned professionals, one of which I've known for probably 30 years and is the manager. Even before I knew who the manager was I was blown away by the eagerness of the people inside to help you as you walked in the door. So many businesses have people that failed to acknowledge your customers existence and I'm sad but true. The store is obviously out to exceed their customers expectations and you're doing a very good job of it. I'd definitely encourage you to give them a try! Update 5 July 2018 I was helping a friend that needed the knock sensors replaced on his truck. I quit working on vehicles a long time ago, & usually deny knowing anything about machinery. So if you see me under a hood it's because I either owe big time, due to blackmail, or it's someone who is extremely important to me (2 out of 3 ain't bad). One of the sensors was so badly corroded it had gaulded (dissimilar metals) itself & corroded the valley pan and there's very little of the sensor left behind. I begrudgingly bought some extractors hoping they'd work. It's a tool I always want to have around, but never want to have a need to use. If you've worked on cars you surely understand. I pointed out that the package had previously been opened (further eroding my confidence) to the counterman who helped me in case I had to return them. The tools did meet my expectations in udder uselessness lol. To be fair, I doubt I'd find anything at any auto parts store that I would trust for this type of speciality tool. The last set I had came from the Matco Tool truck and I unfortunately lent out and never got back. The tools from Matco, Snap-On, etc are much more expensive, & highly recommend them if you're swinging wrenches for a living or, as in my case, need something weird like described. The bottom line is the guys at O'Reilly's exceeded my expectations again two years after writing the first part of this review. Good job! read more

Rude staff, rude management, unprofessional, lack of customer service . Everytime Ive called here I'm given attitude or hostility same when I go in .. seems like they just don't like to actually work. Ive always wanted to like the oreilly name but it's impossible when the staff is garbage and full of it. read more

---------------PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU GO HERE------------------ My steering had 2-3 inches of play, the Chevy dealership told me 1 inch was considered "bad." 170,000 miles on it, its time. I had recieved more than 1 bad box from AutoZone. AutoZone employees kindly explained that supplier was no longer being used due to bad parts and reviews. They confirmed their part was bad, on my vehicle, and issued a full refund avoiding further mechanical costs to me and allowing me to go buy a better part elsewhere. I went to Oreillys for a steering gear box, it was advertised as remanufactered, hydraulically tested and guaranteed to original equipment standards. I told the employees the bad experience I had at Autozone, and they assured me the parts were completely tested before hand. So, anything below Original Equipment standards would not pass. With full consideration, one of the worst experiences of my life. I was disabled at 16 by drug dealers running a stop sign in a stolen rental car. Robbed twice at the subway on Hawthorne RD at 17, once with a gun. I had 3 back operations and an extended cancer scare at 20...and with all the unnecessary name calling, stress and fraud, THIS was one of the worst experiences of life. All I wanted to know was why a steering gear box advertised as "remanufactured" and "hydraulically tested" to original equipment standards has more play in the wheel than the original with 170,000+ miles. The employees guarantee the part has been tested and is OE quality. So I persist in asking why a "good" part is worse than the old one, and if they actually believe new cars are sold with 3-5 inches of play in the wheel. They insist the part is good. It is not. I ask if any concessions can be made upon seeing just how bad the part they sold me is. They tell me their store is under audit, and there is no way I will be granted any concessions because theyre under scrutiny. The part is grossly misrepresented, I dont want to roll the dice paying a mechanic to install another part that has zero quality control. But, without any concessions I now have to pay the mechanic to remove their fraudulent part, drive it to their store for a refund and my old box (which is MUCH better than Oreilly's "tested" part) and pay the mechanic to put my old box on so I dont have to pay storage fees. I get a "refund"....after $800.00+/-in towing and mechanical fees. I email corporate to see if concessions can be made, and they have the manager call. The manager of this store on University Ave in Gainesville insists it is tested AND OE quality, so I ask why it has 3-5 inched of play in the wheel. He leads me around several times in a circle while refusing to tell me how 3-5 inches of play tested to OE standards....so he insists Im a liar. I offerered to drive this extremely dangerous vehicle in for him to see. I inform him I and the mechanic that installed it are ASE Certified and we both know the box is bad, he insists Im lying again. The manager actually said we must NOT be certified because we think Oreilly's part is bad, while refusing to even look at the part for proof. He asks why I pay to have it done if Im a mechanic, and that is when I inform him Im largely disabled. Then I get the only moment of this long, dumbfounding conversation where he isnt evading, lying or calling me a liar. Now he tells me he wont honor the warranty at all because I insist the part is not as advertised. So now the mechanic's bill to remove Oreilly's crap from my vehicle for a refund....is 2-3 times what the refund will be. I cant think of a better example of fraud. Also worth mentioning that the manager, Forrest Hanson, also insists that his employee's claim that the store was under audit is not true. It was weird enough to me that she thought that was an excuse for fraud, but according to the manager she made it up....? I called corporate again 1/19/2018 to see if anything can be done. People that work for their money need to know what is possible at Oreilly's. We cant always afford the legal fees necessary to have basic rights and representation. I WILL POST AN UPDATE WHEN THIS COMES TO PASS. Go to AutoZone...at least they were honest, even when it cost them. read more
