The manager asked for my price, so I played along, saying I needed to check with my wife and wasn't set on buying. I suggested $80,000 for my TRX. He returned with an offer of $54,000, claiming he'd lowered the new truck's price so I'd only owe $30,000. Simple math: the 2025 Ram is $96,000, and my TRX at $80,000 leaves $16,000--not $30,000. His numbers didn't add up. This isn't my first bad experience locally; Victorville Motors dealership once offered me $4,000 for my Camaro SS, which I later sold privately for $15,000. I had Mark at A & B Hitches in Hesperia install a fifth wheel hitch for my truck. I had him also…read moreinstall a trailer cable plug in the truck bed. He was awesome to work with. He was recommended by my RV dealer, and in turn I highly recommend him. Mark was responsive to all my questions from the get go and stood by his workmanship and parts warranty after installation. He addressed my concern with the trailer plug as the truck DIC kept displaying "trailer plug disconnected" and "check trailer brakes wiring" when connected to the fifth wheel trailer. Mark immediately replaced the newly installed plug to no avail. He eventually determined that the problem was with the truck. So, I took it to the dealer where the problem was addressed. Mark was patient and helpful throughout the process. His great professional attitude and customer service made driving all the way from the Inland Empire to Hesperia to visit his shop more than worth it. In addition, the cost to do business with him was very reasonable and competitive. I plan on taking my trailer back to him for all routine maintenance.
