And of course I didn't have a jumper box. Had a cabbie jump it and then I drove it over to these guys, in a panic expecting the worst. (This car's alternator dumped on me within 6 months of driving it off the lot and it has always had battery drain issues so I was paranoid.) The guys at Alaska Auto Repait quickly figured out the issue and charged it up at no cost without any mocking (I was doing that for myself plenty enough). They sure made this dumb girl in distress feel a lot better and they didn't even bat an eye. I will alwaslys recommend them for their kindness and great service, which has been my experience with them two other times when I have brought it in for repairs.

I got what I needed done well, but the communication was poor. I was told it would be done the same…read moreday but it wasn't done until the next evening. It wasn't a big deal for me because I didn't need my car but it was annoying to not know what to expect. The hours aren't always correct but using the phone number to set up an appointment works just fine. The work wasn't particularly cheap, but car stuff can be expensive so I don't think that reflects on the business.
