They refused to test it due to coverings under the hood and suggested I try Firestone. I decided just to take it to the Fletcher Honda dealership. No need to go multiple places if no one would help. The service department showed me exactly how they would test it and confirmed that AutoZone just didn't want to help. I'll never go back. Also - the battery was still good.

Hard to believe, but there are over 4000 Autozone stores in the US. I have probably only been into…read more2 or 3, but this one looks exactly like every other one. Five aisles of car parts, nearly organized and labeled by category. I'm far from a DIY car mechanic. My skill set tops out somewhere just above refilling the windshield washer fluid. In an emergency I can change a tire, but I'd rather call AAA. And I'm perfectly fine with paying someone to change the oil. I know little about car maintenance or repair, but I do know that if I needed a replacement flux capacitor, Autozone would be where I would turn. Still, I like browsing an Autozone. The clerks don't jump on you and they don't seem to mind someone wandering the aisles who is imagining being able to install some of these doodads in his own vehicle. Today, I was looking for a mounting bracket so that I could put a vanity license plate on the front of my wife's car. They had two different models on the shelves, but neither would be a good fit.
