I would not recommend this truck repair to anyone. I took my international truck to them for…read morerepairs. Came back with an estimate of $6,700 to replace injectors. I felt uncomfortable with their diagnose so I decided to have it towed Harlow Truck repair. Summit charged almost $400 just to tell me what they thought was wrong. Harlow found it was not injectors but was a high pressure oil pump. Even with the tow it was 1/3 the price from Summit. And since it wasn't what they originally said they would have charged even more when it didn't fix the problem. Bad reputation.

They refused to test it due to coverings under the hood and suggested I try Firestone. I decided just to take it to the Fletcher Honda dealership. No need to go multiple places if no one would help. The service department showed me exactly how they would test it and confirmed that AutoZone just didn't want to help. I'll never go back. Also - the battery was still good.

Five aisles of car parts, nearly organized and labeled by category. I'm far from a DIY car mechanic. My skill set tops out somewhere just above refilling the windshield washer fluid. In an emergency I can change a tire, but I'd rather call AAA. And I'm perfectly fine with paying someone to change the oil. I know little about car maintenance or repair, but I do know that if I needed a replacement flux capacitor, Autozone would be where I would turn. Still, I like browsing an Autozone. The clerks don't jump on you and they don't seem to mind someone wandering the aisles who is imagining being able to install some of these doodads in his own vehicle. Today, I was looking for a mounting bracket so that I could put a vanity license plate on the front of my wife's car. They had two different models on the shelves, but neither would be a good fit.
