Not sure what's happening in this store, but on 3 occasions, (2 with me and 1 with my wife), a certain young lady lacks customer service skills. This is a review of my second visit where I was assisted by this young woman. When exploring what I needed, I was hit with "What kind of Silverado? With experience in the auto industry, in both service and sales, discovery is paramount in any transaction. Ask specific questions to narrow down the customers need(s). When asked, I provided the year, make and model. Beyond that, she should have guided the interaction as I don't know the Auto Zone system. When I provided all the initial vehicle details, and after an awkward pause, I knew she needed more information in order to narrow down my request, she jumps to "What part?" Ok, so I state what I need and she responds with "What is that?" I labeled it a few other possible names and she found it. All are special order, so I declined to more forward. I will order it myself online from a parts warehouse. My first visit was just as weird. I purchased some fluids, cashed out and she just handed me my receipt. No Thanks for coming in! No Have a nice day! She barely looked at me as if she couldn't be bothered. This was teetering attitude and arrogance. So in a chipper tone, I said to her, "Thanks!" The whole interaction was just weird. She could have been having a bad day so I let it go. Back to second visit. After realizing she was going to assist me again, in my head i said here we go! Bingo! I called it correctly! Some basic customer service skills are needed as consumers don't have to shop here. I will not post about what my wife said after her experience! I will just recommend that management provide some training and role play. Beyond that, some people just simply should not be in customer facing positions. read more

Omg Autozone's Andy and Diego saved my life! I was at a parking lot with my car battery dead. I was devastated. It was pitch dark outside and I had no triple A or nothing. I had nobody to turn to. As I was stuck in my car trembling I came across Autozone's google review and read something about battery change at Autozone. Dropped in to purchase a replacement rear wiper blade. Didier assisted me with the purchase and attempt to install but we experienced some difficulties. After all the wipers in store were not the correct one and he placed an order for in store delivery fours later. I returned to the store four hours later and received my wiper! I like the crew at this location. Always friendly and professional. They are all willing to help. For those who live close to Winchester, this is a perfect place to get your oil recycled. I have yet to be told that there oil reservoirs are full. This place continues to deliver each time I visit at any given time of the day; even when I stop by before they close on Sundays. I went to purchase motor mounts for a 2007 Camry and the transmission mount had a guide tip and the motor mount I got had it on the wrong side so I just broke the guide tip. The main motor mount had a broken stud so half way in the car I had to stop and get a car to drive to the autozone to replace it. This is the worst store EVER! Last week, we ordered online to pick up in the store. They seemed to be closed, so we went to the one in Menifee (they are always helpful and great unlike Temecula!) We had ordered over $133.00 in car parts for the Temecula (Winchester Road) AutoZone. WE ended up spending $155.00 at the Menifee AutoZone on the same day instead of getting them at the Winchester Road location. We assumed since the parts at Winchester Road in Temecula was NEVER picked up, we would not be charged; HOWEVER, WE WERE SOOO WRONG!!! AutoZone on Winchester Road in TEMECULA in fact DID charge for parts never given to the tune of $133.50!! WE called the AutoZone location on Saturday (Winchester Road in Temecula). A man mumbling his name and CLAIMING to be THE MANAGER hung up on me 3 (three) times! The RUDEST subhuman EVER! I kept calling back telling this jerk that ALL I WANTED WAS MY MONEY BACK SINCE I NEVER RECEIVED THE $133.50 in items! GEESH! Like that is TOO Much to ask of an alleged "manager"??? I phoned THREE TIMES to ask with my order number, my credit charge for $133.50 FRAUDULENTLY charged the same day that we PICKED UP the same parts in Menifee! This LOSER hung up 3 times. I kept calling having to threaten to report him to CORPORATE and write this YELP review! This is PATHETIC!!! No human should have to deal with subhumans trying to shut us down for simply trying to get our fraudulent charges REVERSED! How dare he!!!! What a pompous ASS! A simple CALM help. I was giving this jerk ALL of the numbers of the transaction that never transpired. Luckily I have all the documentation.
