I purchased a battery from this location in July of 2022. On 2-6-2023 it was completely dead and couldn't be jump started. I took it back and was surprised at how poorly I was treated by Scott. He proceeded to ask me when the last time was that the battery had been used. I explain on Sat when I went to work. It's now Mon. He got the tester and said "this thing is completely dead, like it's never been used". I responded with "I know, that's why I'm here." He continued to question me as if I was try to do something other than apply the warranty that comes with the battery. He I formed me that next time they wouldn't be as accommodating. Excuse me?!?!! So I asked if replacement was what the warranty was for. He replied yes but that he's only doing me a favor exchanging it quickly because he knew I was on my way to work. I'm going to call this one how I see it....if I was a man coming in with a dead battery, purchased from this very location in July, still under warranty, I wouldn't have been grilled with 20 questions. Too bad the associate that helped me when I purchased it initially wasn't there, he was awesome!!! read more

Last week I noticed that my battery was behaving poorly. I drove to O'reilly's after work and was helped by Michael and Herman. Herman was fairly new and I guess he was under the guidance of Michael. After testing my battery and confirming my suspicion that it needed replacing, they went ahead and actually switched it out for me. I was pleasantly surprised by their willingness to go the extra step to do that. I told them that I really appreciated their help and their work ethic. Those two guys are an asset to the company. I went to O'REILLY'S auto parts on last Sunday. I was looking for a cabin air filter. Most auto parts stores have books so you can look up the part number and get it off the shelf yourself. Not here! Their were 4 people waiting in front of me to get service. I left and went to auto zone across the street. In and out within 10 minutes. I used O'REILLY'S in O.C. and they were great. Not here. Johnny checked and recommended a good replacement battery and even recommended something for the "corrosion". He then changed the battery and cleaned the corrosion for us! Alright don't get me wrong, I love O'Reilly's, but to go in and ask to get you're check engine light checked after being under the assumption that all O'Reilly's do it as a free service (literally posted in the window) to have the associate tell me "no, we don't do that" I ask "wait what? Why? It's posted in the window" to get the answer "it's broken" WHAT?! YOU LITERALLY HAVE MORE OF THOSE TO SELL IN STOCK! If you got someone who really wasn't having it you'd have a false advertisement lawsuit on your hands but it's not worth my God damn time. The associate literally told me to go to AutoZone.... I'm baffled. The associate that gave me this answer was an older gentleman. I'll try another Oreilly's but this used to be my favorite location too. So sad. read more

Went into this store twice, yesterday while it was pouring rain! My wife was at the grocery store in the same parking lot as O'Reilys Autoparts in Menifee, CA and upon her return to her car she found that the battery was dead. One of the gentlemen at O'Reilys inspected the battery and, even though it was new and purchased somewhere else, he charged it sufficiently for her to get to the auto parts store where she purchased it.
