The wipers I needed were in stock. They have an easy-to-follow electronic guide to be sure you pick the correct models. The checkout worker double-checked the correct models for me, too, which I thought was nice of him, and he installed the wipers for me. He also helped me choose the proper windshield cleaner, since everything I already had at home was leaving streaks. He suggested the one he personally uses, which I appreciated. It took care of the streaks, but not the greasy residue--I'm not sure why I have that. I'll follow up on what to do if a professional car wash doesn't take care of the grease. I have to wait three more weeks before I can get the car washed because it recently had body work done and is still curing. We chose the Chemical Guys glass cleaner. I had wanted Meguiar's per a friend's suggestion, but the store only had it in a multi-pack of other sprays. I am grateful for the personal assistance. read more

I was stuck because my windshield wiper squirter (I'm not sure if that's the proper language) Got damaged during the last time it was in the shop!! I hadn't been to this store in a while, at least not since they were acquired by O'Reilly. Happy to say it's the same great service that it was back in the day. I needed to replace the battery in my wife's old Boxster, and they had one charged and ready to go. It was a perfect fit for the tiny battery compartment in my wife's car, and was a snap to install. My only pet peeve (and it's lame) is that I couldn't find a loaner wrench that would fit the battery terminals so I had to drive home, replace the battery there, and drive back to O'Reilly to get the credit for the old battery core. It's a small peeve, I know since they're kind enough to loan tools at all! Overall a simple, easy and reasonably priced solution to my dead battery problem. Thank O'Reilly! read more

Barayan saved my weekend!!! Oreilly auto is awesome and Barayan only adds to it! I got the dreaded battery light on my dash on Saturday only to indicate: a. Bad battery or b. Alternator. Barayan tested both and found it to be a failing alternator. I don't know any mechanics I trust in this area so I asked Barayan and he gave me the business card of a mobile mechanic: Luis Ortiz. Wow!! 1/2 hour later, my alternator was replaced which saved my shopping paradise weekend. Thank you so much to Barayan and to Luis!! On Wednesday January 2nd, I walked into the Novato O'Reillys to a relatively empty store with two employees working the counter. When I asked the guy working the register for the vehicle diagnostic tool to determine the cause of my check engine light being on, his response was "there's only two of us and I have to stay and answer the phone". So, I drove away and went to Napa where they received my money and 5 star review. I guess answering the phone for a POTENTIAL customer was better than helping an actual customer in store. This place is really convenient for me. I just wish it were open later. All the employees I've dealt with have been nice. Make sure to join the rewards club! I remember when it was a Kragen here. And instead of the garden center was a little center with Ed's Liquor, Domino's, a travel place, a dry cleaner, and maybe something else.
