On July 20, 2026 I Called Kia at 11 AM to find out if my rotors came in. First time I called they transferred me to Paul's desk, but he wasn't at his desk. So I had to call again and asked to speak to him and Patty told me that he wasn't at his desk that she would take a message. So she took a message so now I'm waiting for him to call me back about my part for my car which are rotors. So Patty called me back at 12:08 and made an appointment for me to go in on Friday. July 24, 2026 at 10 AM. So, on Friday July 24,2026 I showed up at 9:40am when I went to the office waited 2 minutes before being helped. Karalynn Baker helped me. She was very nice. But a bit confused of why I was there. Told her I needed to talk to Paul the manager. She let him know I needed to talk to him. He came out of his office looking like he had been bothered. I asked him what was it that they did on my car the first day I took it in which was Friday July 10th, and all he could tell me was that they worked on it. I told him because I was there from 8am til 4:30 pm. And when I left and I got on the freeway to go home the car continued to shake. I had called him to let him know on the 10th that it was still shaking. He said "well it was good when I drove it." I told him well, it was't fixed. He said " bring it back on Monday July 13th i asked him if I needed to make an appointment. He said no just bring it in. So on Monday July 13th I took it in i was there early morning. He came out of his office walked past by me twice and no communication whatsoever because I know he knew why I was there. Karalynn was with a customer. But acknowledged I was there. Said someone will be right with you. I said thank you. Just stood there waiting. I then went to my car to get something and went back to the office. Karalynn ask me for my key because she had to move my car for another car to get out. When she came back to the office I told her I needed to speak to Paul. She told him I wanted to talk to him. He came out of his office and passed me by a few times then a few minutes passed and when he walked in he said "that one of his mechanics would ride with me to see the problem." A few minutes later the mechanic showed up and I drove my car on the freeway with him in the car. And he saw that my car shook when I stepped on the brakes. So we drove back to the Kia dealer. Paul then came out and said that he would have to order new rotors for my car because they were bad. That it would take 2 to 3 days to get them and that he would call me when they were in. Now why didn't he do that to begin with on Monday July 10th. Mind you he knew that i live in Los Angeles and had to drive 45 minutes both ways and here he had me coming back when it could of been done the first time i was there. BECAUSE AS WE ALL KNOW GAS ISN'T CHEAP RIGHT NOW . I have never had a problem with the Kia's i've had this is my 3rd kia I have owned. I just purchased this Kia in November 2025 at this car dealer and it should not be giving me problems and having to deal with rude people doesn't help. I have worked in customer service for 50 something years and I know that it's very important to follow the customer service portal call. Which I feel were not done. So disappointed and even though they did the job it should've been taken care of better. I could've been rude but held myself back. Because me being rude back wouldn't of solved anything. I'm 73 years old and me having to drive that much for something that could've been taken care of on my first visit stressed me out. Very disappointing. Avoid the sales person that goes with the name "Q". I live about 40 miles from this dealership and discussed the exact model I wanted over the phone before making the trip there to finalize the purchase. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was told the vehicle we discussed was "no longer available." They initially tried to steer me toward a different model, and only after I insisted on my original preference did they locate the GT-Line I wanted at another dealership. I was told the vehicle was only about 30 minutes away and that it would arrive by the time the finance paperwork was completed. Instead, we ended up waiting nearly 4 hours for the car to arrive. When the salesperson finally returned, he walked in casually with a fast-food drink in hand, then disappeared and handed everything off to another salesperson to complete the process. Before coming in, I confirmed multiple times with three different people, that the out-the-door price I was quoted was for a GT-Line Premium Package. I was very clear about what trim I wanted, and each time I was reassured that the pricing reflected the premium package, not a standard model. Once I walked through the doors, that story completely changed. I was then shown a standard package, and when I pointed out that I came in specifically for the GT-Line Premium Package, the numbers suddenly increased well beyond what I was originally quoted. This feels like a classic bait-and-switch. I understand dealerships want customers in the door, but confirming pricing and trim details multiple times and then changing them in person is misleading and unacceptable. If you're looking for transparency, honesty, and respect for your time, don't come to this dealership. Be prepared to wait. About 3 weeks ago I made an appointment for standard mileage service and waited 4 hours for everything to be fixed. And there was a problem with my tire which costed me extra. (Not their fault) they got everything done with great attitude but the catch is the wait. Shortly after receiving service. A Dash warning light came on saying that my tire pressure monitoring system needed to be checked. After trying to book an appointment which the only one available was two weeks after seeing my light went on so that also kinda sucked. Fast forward to the appointment and I arrived early due to other prior events being cancelled so I arrived as a walk in and only one thing needed to be fixed. After waiting so long just for them to moved my car in it sat there for at least 1.5 hours. Then the front desk lady said the mechanic had to go on lunch, then they told me that the person who was working on my car said that it would still take another hour after finally getting to my car. Then after an hour and 30 minutes I walked in due to frustration and was told that they installed the part but the new part also failed? so after a Total of 5 hours waiting. Left with nothing done. Arrived around 11:07 AM, didn't leave until 3:08 PM. So appointment or walk in you'll be waiting for a very long time. And always the possibility of nothing getting done. But wait there's more after I left. I got onto the freeway and started hearing a thudding noise under my car and I was on completely smooth road so I made a U-turn and told them the situation and the mechanic came out and got into the car with me to ensure that I wasn't, I'm assuming, lying about the noise and he heard it immediately and went to go and fix that problem. Makes me wonder if the mechanic in question was paying full attention. After all of that, I went back into the front desk to ask them what my next steps were, and they said that I would need to then come back after they received the part that they had but failed to successfully put into my car and that when I come back, they will give me a loaner car so that way I don't have to wait as long as I did and they can take the full time that they need to work on my car mind you my car is a 2025 Kia GT line so it's not like it's old or have a lot of problems. In the end they are going to hopefully make it right when my car is completely fixed, but as for this experience, I'm giving 2 stars. read more

When I walked in, Brittany, who was already helping out someone else, mentioned she'll be with me in a moment. I was early for my appointment, so I wasn't in any rush. She greated me with a great energy and a smile, and confirmed my appointment. Brittany mentioned that it would be about an hour and even asked if I wanted my car washed. It was exactly an hour, and my servicr was done. She said that everything was fine, just to keep an eye on the tires that might need to be changed soon. I bought my first car here and used to get service all the time. When I bought my second Kia. Unfortunately they did not have the car that I wanted so I bought it from another dealership but it continued to go and get my oil change and my services here. The last couple times I've gone the service has been less than perfect. The service was fine but the people in the office for service really need to learn how to be more genuine. There was a noise in my car and one of the service men drove with me to see if he could hear it. And of course when I took him for a drive the noise was not as loud as it normally is in my car when I'm alone. Basically he dismissed me and said we did not know what the problem was. He said that he could put the car up in the air and see what was wrong with it, but if they couldn't find a problem that I would be charged which did not make any sense since I'm under warranty. So I went to my original dealership where I bought my car Garden Grove and they went above and beyond to make it right. I would recommend if you need service done. However there is an issue I bothered me: The quote they provided included an MSRP that was higher than the actual MSRP on my car's window sticker. That information was not clearly disclosed. Because my car was not in their inventory, so I couldn't see the actual window sticker till all purchase process completed. When I questioned this, their explaination was the OTD of my car matched the OTD they told me, so the breakdown of the quote didn't matter. But in my mind, the breakdown of the quote does matter. Called to arrange test drive of a vehicle on the lot, as advertised. A friendly receptionist told us to come down and the car would be ready. Upon arriving we were asked to wait for the sales person (10-15mins). After meeting at his desk he asked us which car we wanted to test drive, even though we had already called in advance and spoken with another salesman regarding our purpose for our visit. Then after waiting an additional 10 minutes we approached our wandering salesman to inquire what the hold up was. He said he couldn't find the keys and asked if we could come back later. Having massive issues with Kia. My engine seized due to the recall, and they're refusing to fix it. As far as Pomona Kia specifically, no one in the service department EVER answers the phone, and when I try to call other departments, they're very rude. Appointments are 2 months out. I was originally told I can have my car towed to sit in the lot until someone could evaluate it (which would be around a 6 week wait), so I called the next day, and they said the lot is full. I've been calling for days, and can't even get ahold of anyone to ask if the lot is still full. Go to Puente Hills Kia, 9 miles away from this one. read more
