I don't write reviews, I don't put much stock in reviews, but I read some bad reviews for O'Reilly in Sonoma, mostly from years ago, and feel compelled to share my experience. A young man named Payden sold me new wiper blades for my car. He found a 2 for 1 deal for me and installed them for me. What more can you ask for? Excellent. I was in and out in 5 minutes with new blades and it's gonna rain all week!! Thanks Payden!! read more

I've never been happy with this place. Sure they might have an emergency something that you need but unless you're desperate I wouldn't go here. The displays are terrible and even in the best of times are missing a lot of items, like car lighting for instance. I recently went in to replace a headlamp bulb and they told me they are $98 each, before your 8% tax slap. No go, Joe. I went on Amazon and found the Philips D2R bulb for less than half of that. See photo. Shame on you ripoff artists. Not sure what's up with the price gouging but I wouldn't recommend this place based on this alone. read more

I called O'Reilly's from the Napa parking lot to see if they could replace it. TJ said no problem. I zipped right over & it took 5 minutes. I guess I have really unattainable expectations. It may be that I'm really lucky to date with people just wanting to actually be helpful. Maybe it's just the places I frequent now. Who knows, maybe I look suspect. I don't honestly know for sure. What I do know is that tonight, I get to try and make it back to Sacramento with no headlights. That is something that I'm not looking forward to. When I arrived at this location, all the lights are on, and I see several young men meandering about inside. I give the door a pull and it is locked. Oh no! Apparently they are closed.:-( it's obvious that their correctly clock and my clock do not coincide. Seeing the men inside and going off the assumption they can't be TOO far ahead of real time, I give the glass a rap... Tap tap tap... Tap tap tap.. One guy looks over and I wave excitedly, hi, can...... His head turns away. Another gentle man in closer to me so I attempt to engage him.. EXCUSE ME SIR! CAN U HELP ME WITH SOMETHING? MY HEADLIGHTS, THEY WENT OUT, I NEED TO BUY A BULB, 2 BUT JUST 1 WILL GET ME HOME!... he says, we're closed. And not another acknowledgement after that. They scurried out the back, literally jogged to thier vehicles, and took off with purpose. I stood several minutes in astonishment before calling the number on the front door for the store manager, only hoping to maybe get someone to tell any one remaining inside it was OK maybe? I understand closing is 8 and it was 8:03 by my clock at that moment. Meaning I had arrived at 7:55pm in real time. Guess what I got at the other end of the phone.. A fax machines familiar beep bop beep beeping and screach. Funny thing is the two upper management numbers are all too familiar 916 numbers. Smh. I'm sad. Fingers crossed I make it home with our incident. This never would have happened in Sacramento, Roseville, or even Lincoln. Oh well that's why I live there and not here. read more

I had an issue with our BMW brakes. The pad on the inside passengers side wore completely out and BMW (in their infinite wisdom) only puts wear sensors on the drivers side - that is a different review though! This of course happened Friday night of a 3 day weekend. I had a very narrow window - basically Saturday morning only - to do a brake job and get the car on the road. Brakes and rotors are for this BMW not really off the shelf parts. I got on the phone first thing Saturday morning. The first place I called suggested I driver to Santa Rosa. Not happening. I called O'Reilly who are new in town. Leslie answered the phone and said that she could have the parts driven down from Vacaville by 10:30am. I arrived at 10:30 and the parts weren't there, so I was a bit concerned, but sure enough at 10:45 the parts arrived to save the day. read more

Usually a bit disappointed when coming here but you can sometimes find things cheaper here than some of the other options. (..and in Sonoma there's not too many.) Service is slow. I've been a number of times and it's rare that you're not waiting in line. The employees aren't too knowledgeable either. They've actually given me the wrong parts before despite their computer actually being correct. I've been spending a good amount of money on auto parts recently and this place is either my back-up option or one to save a few bucks. If you don't specifically know what you need/want then go to "Sonoma Napa Auto Parts" down the road. It's night and day in comparison. The knowledge and employees have always served me well on my recent auto project. I actually won't knock the "O'Reilly" company itself however. I've been to other O'Reilly stores in the bay area and they don't have the same issues I've mentioned here. So maybe it's just a management/employee issue..? read more

I had a great experience at Orielly Auto when I was looking for brake pads that I needed as soon as possible. First of all, I didn't quite make it during business hours since it took me a bit longer than I thought to get the brakes off of my car. Apparently my Audi doesn't use typical bolts for the calipers. I got there 5 minutes after closing and explained to Leslie, who I later found out was the store manager, my situation. She gladly let me in, helped locate the correct set of brake pads, and ordered them in for the following morning! I should have just gone straight to her because I wasn't having much luck elsewhere. Overall it was an awesome experience and I look forward to shopping at this Orielly again. If her employees follow her example there's no reason I foresee any issues in the future.
