The gentleman that helped me, I believe his name was Brian, installed an EVAP hose for me on-site. I had just come in after a failed smog test down the street. My Ford ranger had failed a visual inspection and it turned out to be a worn out emissions hose. It turns out it was a simple fix, but could have cost me a lot if I had to take it to a mechanic. They really saved the day! Everything I go in there they seem to have the solution. Their stock shelves aren't taken care of with stuff all over the place. The employees are rude and can't be bothered to even acknowledge your presence. It's sad I expect that from a place like Autozone or Oreilly but nope this store is the worst I think I've seen. Even heard one employee making off colored comments to another employee with customers in the store. Won't ever go back. Would give zero stars if I could. read more

I think the only requirement to working at Napa Auto Parts is that you have a pulse. Every location I have been to is staffed with the least helpful people I have ever encountered. Went to the Yuba City location for a serpentine belt for a 2019 Toyota RAV4. I clearly stated the year, make and model of the vehicle. After taking the belt off of the car, we determined this was the wrong belt. Rushed back to the store because it closed at 5 and realized that we were sold a belt for a 2014 Toyota RAV4. Bought the correct belt, but did not have time to return the incorrect belt before the store closed. The next day, I had to return home to Lake County before this location opened. Attempted to return the unused belt to the Santa Rosa Avenue location. But, after waiting 15 minutes in line, was told that they couldn't accept this part because it was from another store. I asked if I would need to return the belt to Yuba City and he said yesI will not be driving all the way to Yuba City to return a $20 belt, but find the inconvenience to be extremely frustrating. How irrational is it to tell a customer that they will need to drive to a location that is 2 hours and 25 minutes away to return a Napa Auto Parts belt? My family lives in Yuba City and were helping me out by replacing belts and filters on my car and I am not sure when I will be back to visit them. I am certainly not making a special trip there to return this belt that I should've never been sold in the first place. This is a prime example of how women are taken advantage of when it comes to car services/auto parts. The money is not my concern, it's the principle of being treated differently because I am a woman who wanted to return a product to a different location. If Napa Auto Parts is not going to provide good customer service, they should at least sell the correct parts to customers. read more

Worst experience ever! Never go back there! Ordered my parts two weeks ago with Jospeh (nice guy), helpful and all, but their computer system somehow had the rear breaks wrong. So I got all my rotors and all break parts replaced by my mechanic guy. He said they gave u the wrong pads the the rear ones. So he had to take them back to Napa, they said "sorry" and ordered the correct ones, which would delivered next week on Monday. Until Saturday they still couldn't find my break parts. I'm gonna go back tomorrow again, hope they will find it. So 2 weeks, many trips and hassles, plus I have to pay my mechanic guy twice and wasted 2-3 day offs. When Joseph is not there. I was treated with horrible/rude customer service when asked about my parts. read more

I went in to buy new wiper blades and Carlos was super helpful in assisting me with finding the correct size and a reasonably priced brand that would do the job. He even offered me a AAA discount. I was planning on replacing them myself since it's easy enough to do but Carlos offered full-service assistance and even came outside and did it for me. Meh, I have experienced much better. 2 stars is fair, the workers there seem like they have a really tough job (even though i dont think its too hard!;-) but they really do thier best to be rude to you and make you feel like they are really helping you with some hard to get really special oil filter or maybe wiper blades, haha! I went in to Napa Auto Parts yesterday to buy new window wipers for my car.I had purchase some new ones at Costco a few weeks ago. When I opened the package the wipers came in there were about 5 little pieces in the box that had no Idea what they were for nor did I have time to figure it out . I drove over to Napa Auto to buy a pair that looked like the ones already on my car. I told the guy about the wipers I had bought at costco and he said he could try to put them on for me. I told him no thank you, I think I will return them and buy some new ones here. He was willing to help me put on the Costco wipers even if I didn't buy new ones there. He was so nice he even installed the new one I had just bought. read more
