I had been looking forward to trying O Wings for some time now. However they were closed for remodeling. Imagine my surprise when I tried again and they were open. I didn't know what to try. So I decided to try several things. The decor was unique. The mural on the wall was lively. The service was good. I was greeted upon entrance. The food was delicious. The wings were great. The Asian Fusion was exceptional. I would love to try some other entrees.

Best garlic parm wings ever gotta go bone in, the tenders were great too, massive. I think about these wings a lot, can't wait to have them again soon!

O! Wings Plus has some of the crispiest fried chicken wings I've ever had, which is especially impressive because we didn't try them until after a 20 minute drive home. We tried both boneless and bone in wings - both were really tasty but bone in was definitely the better of the two. There are a lot of sauces to try from, but the best we tried was the O's original. It had a tiny bit of heat, mixed with tangy and sweet flavors. It was super sticky and coated all of the wings really well. I'm not a huge spicy person and this sauce was delicious to me, but they have some spicier options if you are someone who loves heat. There can be a wait while they get your order together, so I'd recommend calling and placing your order so it's ready quicker. Their staff was very friendly and showed us everything in our order before we left to make sure nothing was left out!

Thai chili lime and O's original

My go-to order is 30 wings split between 3 sauces: O's Original, Parmesan garlic, and Thai chili lime. They...are...so...good! Add in a side of large fries and this meal is complete. Whether you dine-in or take it to-go, it tastes just as good. If you're taking it to go, typically it takes 15-20 minutes. Not slow at all! The owners and the workers there are always very kind.

Been craving for some Korean chicken and I was so glad to find out about this place. I ordered more then I can eat because I wanted to try three different flavors. I got the Thai chili lime, O' Original and Parmesan garlic. My two favorite was the Thai chili lime, a Southeast Asian inspired sauce combined with tart lime. The O' Original, red chili and brown sugar caramelized over the wings in a tangy sweet sauce. I didn't care too much for the parmesan garlic too much. It's not bad but you really can't eat more then two and be like it's too rich. The wings are covered with parmesan garlic. Don't forget to add on the Moo. I love those pickle radish. It's more then a wings place. They have chicken tenders, rice bowl, noodle bowl, sandwiches, wraps, salad Snackers and desserts.

    Korean Philly and teriyaki wing.
    Brianna E.

Great wings, mediocre Korean food. The wings are crunchy and flavorful. Surprisingly, I don't care for the bbq, which is usually the safe (and delicious) choice everywhere. The covering isn't great to me. The teriyaki, however, is saturated perfectly and ever so spicy. The original is fine too. Great ranch dressing. The Korean food has been a disappointment each time. The meat is somewhat gray and mildly flavored. I had a taco the first time and the Philly the second time. Did not finish over half the Philly. But people aren't looking up this place for Korean Food. So I will still give it a 4 because most will find the wings satisfying. I'm a huge wing fan and feel I should be more satisfied with these, but my husband was blown away so I think a four is a fair split. Mac and cheese wasn't bad (nor amazing).

Cheap good (crispy!!!) wings that are cheap?! Sign me up. My only complaint is that the spicy aren't that spicy for a Korean Fried Chicken.

I didn't mind grabbing food to go, but I would've preferred the option to sit down and eat comfortably. Parking was easy, with plenty of spots available in the lot, which was a plus. As for the service, it was just okay. Since it was my first visit, I had a lot of questions. They were answered, but the interaction felt very minimal. I didn't really feel welcomed or invited, which took away a bit from the overall experience. Overall, decent food and convenient parking, but the atmosphere and service could be warmer.

The hot dogs all looked good, so I tried the Big Herm dog, which is a footling version of the Chicago dog. It comes in 2 regular buns and was cut in half, so basically 2 of the regular. It was tasty, hot and covered in all of the right Chicago dog toppings! Wonderful, and clearly what this place is known for! The fries and drink were not as good. Lemonade tasted like a mix and was super sweet and the fries were super salty. If it wasn't for ketchup, I'm not sure I could have eaten them. Almost everyone I saw in there got cheese sauce on theirs, and I wonder now if it was to cover the salt taste. Fun place to try, and clearly a part of local history.

But then the guy immediately starts by telling me there are no drink options except sweet tea. I wanted a lemonade, but fine--I settled for the sweet tea because I understand things run out. What I don't understand is the complete lack of basic customer service. While I was ordering, I kept getting cut off and told to pull forward when I wasn't even finished speaking. That's ridiculous. Let me finish ordering and ask if that's all instead of just assuming I'm done and rushing me along. It got even more irritating when he kept repeating for me to pull forward while I was still trying to order. I literally had to tell him, "I heard you, I'm not done." The attitude the whole time was unnecessarily sassy and impatient. Then when I got to the window, I was handed my food like they were trying to get rid of me as fast as possible. I was supposed to get $0.60 back and only received $0.50. No receipt. No basic courtesy. The only thing they bothered to say was asking about sauces at the window. On a gloomy day, the last thing anyone needs is terrible service and a rushed, rude interaction. Do better. Treat your customers with a little respect instead of acting like they're an inconvenience. And to top it off, the food was awful too.

You probably had to go to New Jersey. When they began to appear, it was at a time when I wasn't eating at restaurants as often. (I was not in jail.) An opportunity presented itself when a location opened in a strip mall near where I live, along with the other four horsemen of the gentrification apocalypse: Raising Cane's, Panera and Five Guys. Plus a Chase Bank branch, which you're gonna have to visit if you plan to eat at any of these places. I stopped by at noon-ish to have a look, for the sake of citizen food journalism. There was a healthy, but not overwhelming, crowd. A lot more people than at the Five Guys next door. I suspect that people have begun to resent Five Guys because of their prices, even though you end up spending nearly as much, if not more, at Jersey Mike's. It can't be due to the quality of the food. I ate there and it was amazing. The inside of this Jersey Mike's is not very big. You can eat there if you want to (I did), but you might not want to take a date there. You're gonna be in there nuts-to-butts, and not intentionally so. It's set up like a Subway, or any number of other fast casual restaurants that were clearly inspired by Subway. You order at one end of the line, explain to a sandwich artist how you'd like your sandwich and then pay at the other end of the line. Options are a lot more limited--intentionally so, I'm assuming. None of this BS where there's, mathematically speaking, a million different permutations of a ham sandwich. As if. You can get a sandwich on white, wheat or rosemary parmesan. Or some gluten-free option, which, why would you even be at a Jersey Mike's? Sandwiches are served Mike's Way--lettuce, tomato, onion and an oil-and-vinegar blend--by default, to save people who can't read, and people with stuttering problems, from holding up the line. Is that the case even if you order a cheesesteak? Possibly. This is Missouri, after all. There's only a small handful of things you can get in addition to the standard dress: pickles, banana peppers, jalapenos and some sort of pepper relish. I was curious to know what that pepper relish, or whatever it was, tastes like, but it wasn't that serious. Would the sandwich artist have objected if I'd asked him to give me just a little bit, in my hand, to taste, as if I were at a 31 Flavors? I wasn't about to find out. Peace to Ani DiFranco. Before I left the house, I asked an AI what the ideal order at a Jersey Mike's was. It said to order a Club Sub, Mike's Way. A Club Sub is something along the lines of a club sandwich, minus the extra bread in the middle, the Ruffles potato chips and the dill spear. It has, as I recall, turkey, ham, bacon and provolone. For whatever reason, seemingly all the sandwiches here come with provolone as the default cheese selection. What, no love for Swiss? The Club Sub mostly just tastes like turkey. Turkey in general doesn't really taste like anything, but deli meat turkey has a very distinctive flavor. The bacon is precooked and nothing that would pass muster somewhere where it's the primary focus of your breakfast. The wheat bread was nice and robust, with a bit of chew to it, perhaps to withstand the deluge of oil-and-vinegar blend. It soaks into the bread and softens it up a bit, not unlike an Italian beef or a French dip. If you're opting out of the oil-and-vinegar blend (which they disgustingly refer to as "the Juice"), again, I'm not sure why you're eating here. In addition to the sandwich, which itself ran me upwards of $20, I got chips, a soda and a cookie. It cost me almost exactly the same amount I recently paid for a cheeseburger (i.e. a double cheeseburger), fries and a shake at the Five Guys next door. The jalapeno kettle chips were mediocre. They might need to consider another brand--unless the titular Mike owes someone there money. The cookie was amazing. It doesn't look like much, and it's packaged like it might have rolled off an assembly line in an industrial area over in Maryland Heights, but it's incredibly rich. I probably won't live as long as a result of having eaten it. Given how much I spent, that might be for the best anyway.
