My family has been using childrens lighthouse in wylie for the last 5 years. I moved my oldest there when she was 2 because the previous school she was in kept raising their tuition rates. My oldest is now 7 and in the 3rd grade. Yes, you read that right. Because of this school's curriculum, my child was able to start early AND skip a grade based on scores she got on early placement and testing. She actually places at a 4th grade level and is an all A honor roll student even at her age. I have my 2 year old here as well and has been coming here from the very beginning based on the experience we had with our oldest and still have. The owner and managers are awesome and work with us with our finances as well as any concerns we have. No daycare is perfect and every blue moon my child may take a spill outside but this is not due to the daycare....just kids being kids. They have cameras that you can access all day to check in on your little one whenever you have the need. They also have an app in which the teachers record all feedings, diaper changes, notes, pictures, and memories that gets emailed to you once your child checks out for the day. They are very secure as well. I highly recommend this location. They have full time, part time, and after school care, which I have utilized all. The managers will make time to talk to you at the drop of a dime. If you have a question, dont hesitate to ask them. I'm very blunt and over protective and I highly recommend this daycare. My daughter has been attending Children's Lighthouse in Wylie now for 3 years. I have been more than impressed with this daycare from day one. The teachers are very hands on and provide a safe yet effective learning environment for the children. Everyone I speak to asks where my daughter goes to school because they are so impressed with how well she speaks and how much she knows at such a young age. She has excelled in not only academics, but socially as well. The staff is also wonderful. They create a family friendly environment and always greet every child by name, which is very welcoming. They also take your personal concerns very seriously and will take steps to ensure your concern is met. This daycare center also has cameras that allow you to watch your child daily. This was one of the main reasons we went with this daycare, a lot of other centers do not provide this type of service. Another reason I chose this daycare was because of my research with the State of Texas Daycare compliance history. You can tell with the history of their inspections they really do care about the children and their safety. My daughter, now 6 has attended Chidren's Lighthouse since she was 22 months. My son, now 4 months has attended Children's Lighthouse since he was 2 months. They were so great with my daughter who continues to attend with their after school program that I was comfortable placing my baby boy in as early as 2 months. Having online camera access is my lifeline when checking in on my kids. The Abeca program they use has progressed my daughter to a higher level than most her age. I'm able to tell even at 4 months that my baby boy is enjoying his teachers, his room friends and himself. He seems really comfortable which helps me have some relief throughout the day. Start them from an early age and let them grow with Children's Lighthouse. I've been extremely happy and satisfied with the staff and the school. Our family cannot express the love we have for Childrens Lighthouse. Our little girl started coming to school here when she was four months old. We have been so happy from the day she started. Her teachers have always been so loving and helpful. They have shown her warmth and compassion when her daddy and I have been at work. We feel so blessed that God has provided a place for our precious daughter. She is happy each day, and we see pure joy in her eyes when she is there with her little friends. I love how she is stimulated and is learning. Even as an infant, I noticed her great sense of awareness. I believe Childrens Lighthouse has played a hugerole in her cognitive development. I just wanted to write and share about the wonderful experiences my daughter is having at this facility. I have always been a bit nervous when leaving my children in a daycare. However, from day one, it has felt like home for both of us. There is always someone to greet her with a warm smile, and a BIG hug! I have really been blown away at just how much she has already learned in the pre-K class in just a few short months. From working on site words, to writing sentences, beginning to read, and so much more. This definitely speaks to the teachers and materials being used. My daughter started at Children's Lighthouse when she turned 2 and she is now about to turn 4. She came from an in home daycare. She has learned so much since being at Lighthouse. I am always surprised and very impressed of the things she knows. I feel like she will be adequately prepared for kindergarten. There are several teachers that we have grown to love. Ms. Manjit, Ms. Dee, and Ms. Nicole (afternoon teacher in room 7) are a few of the loving teachers. One thing that I personally love is that the children say a prayer before eating a meal. Also, they are open on days (at least half days) like Christmas/New Years Eve which is great for a working mom. I would say overall I have had a good experience. read more

My daughter has attended Childrens Lighthouse since she was an infant. I consider myself a picky parents when it comes to my child's care and education. I couldn't be more happy with this school. My daughter was using please and thank you at 12 months old due to the sign language program they teach. She was naming all of her shapes, animals, and colors by 15 months. The program they have at the school is highly academic and we love every one of the teachers here. All of her teachers have truely loved my daughter and made me her and Dad feel confident and comfortable in every way. I'm a dad of a two year old who is been going to Lighthouse ever since she was three months old. My family and I feel absolutely fortunate to offer such a wonderful environment to our baby where the teachers are so loving and caring and give their whole self to provide their outstanding support and encouragement at every step of the way. Besides everything our baby is also getting the best learning experience as she already knows all her colors, shapes, letters and can even count up till 20. We love this place so far!! We just started this month with our 7 week old. The teacher's have been fantastic and fastidious in caring for the infants. I know because I watch them throughout the day online. I'm THAT mom. I've never had a single problem. In fact, we are considering switching our toddler to this daycare. Also, take the previous review with a grain of salt. I've had to force feed my toddler so that she doesn't throw up her medication later. Since the classrooms are monitored online (two cameras in the infant's rooms) I doubt the parent's were unaware of their kid being force fed. Sometimes new parents are unaware yet of what it takes to keep kids healthy. read more

Children's Lighthouse is amazing! I have been at Children's Lighthouse since November 2011, it amazes me that this November will be five years! It truly is a blessing being able to watch the children grow through our program with our infant classroom to accelerated pre-k classroom. I personally have had the chance to work in many of the classrooms with the different age groups and now up front in the office. My favorite part of the day is seeing the children light up when I walk into the room! The management and teachers are like a second family to me and I am thrilled that I get to work closely with them each and every day! read more

Where ever you go and whoever you meet in the area has to mention about this incredible place for their curriculum and great customer service.Two of my children have been going to this school since they were six weeks old and now one of them is in the kindergarten and the other in preschool. Every day that we walk into this school we are warmly welcomed by the management and the teachers who I trust so much for their care and love that I cannot immagine what it would be like if I had not choosen this place for my children. My boys, Nathan and Kyle, absolutely love Children's Lighthouse Learning Center. Nathan has attended for 8 years now (he's in 3rd grade and began attending their program back in 2007) and Kyle is now 4 1/2 and has attended since he was 3 months old. CLLC has a wonderful curriculum. My husband and I are consistently impressed with the level of education that they both receive each year under their care. Our daughter has been attending Children's Lighthouse since she was 8 weeks old. It was recommended to us by friends whose children had graduated from Lighthouse. My daughter loves it there. She adores her teachers and the staff. I am amazed at her academic ability at the age of four. She is able to read a few words, write her name, abc's and numbers. I love to hear all of the songs that they sing in class. She's learned all of her states and presidents through the songs that they teach. She also enjoys Stretch-n-Grow and singing with Mr. Shepherd during music for the week. read more

I moved my youngest son to Children's Lighthouse in Wylie a year ago and have never given my previous daycare a second thought. Everyone at CLLC is focused on the children, their well-being, and their opportunities to learn. The directors know every child by name, and they always make time for questions and comments. My son (as are all the children) is so LOVED by all the teachers! He squeals with delight when we pull into the parking lot each morning! I have been taking my daughter here since she was 7 weeks old after a bad experience with another place, and now she is almost 2 years old. I love that I can check in on her throughout the day on the room cameras, I get detailed reports daily about her eating, learning and activities.
