I got the $14 fish n chips. My mom got the chicken salad. Firstly, they overcharged us, and accidentally added an entire other meal. Seemed really irritated we noticed and got money back. Did the math, we were still overcharged, and he missed giving us one of our drinks we paid for as well. ( which is just soda in a can for $2) My basket had very few frys. Also found a long Grey hair in it. My mom's chicken salad was just a couple of stripes on some finely shredded store bought lettuce. Nothing else. I really don't often complain, i'm easy to please. Yes! A new burger place in Oakville! First off, the service is great. The person taking your order was super friendly and one of the cooks came out as well and made sure we had what we needed. The burgers and not frozen patties and are made fresh. The fries are hand cut and taste great. The regular burger combo comes with a can of soda or water, a burger and fries for $12. If you want the double pattie with bacon it's $14. All the kids meals are $6. They come with a soda and fries as well. If your not into burgers they do have hotdog meals, sausage, fish and chicken strips. Did I say the people that work there are great? I think it was the owner but we were the last customers and he gave us a bunch of extra fries and bacon and we were leaving because we were the last customers of the day. read more

Took a rainy New Year's Eve drive and ended up in Oakville hungry. Most every eaterie in town was closed except for Oak Burger. We are always on the hunt for a good burger and I can guarantee you that Oak Burger didn't disappoint. We were greeted warmly at the drive-up window and were immediately asked how many dogs we had in the back seat. Since we hadn't eaten all day we went for the ginormous Oak Burger, a double hand-formed patty with two generous strips of meaty bacon and cheese. The combo came with long skinny fries cooked to perfection and a can of soda. When the greeter handed us our order she also handed us a small bag for the dogs, inside were three small patties. How awesome is that! The burgers were epic and so dang good! Oak Burger, you may be 40 minutes from home but we will definitely be back. read more

NEVER AGAIN! We ordered 2 "Oak burgers" & a hamburger patty for our dog. The total came to $48.98 & we couldn't even eat the disgusting food! We were shocked when they handed us sodas in a can for our drinks. We had to turn our engine off because they took so long to get our order. I've never had a hamburger & fries that was so bad that it was completely undeible & $48.98? I hope they enjoyed the donation for the GREASE, SALT & SODA IN A CAN! RIDICULOUS! The hamburger was EXTREMELY greasy with 1 piece of wilted lettuce, no onion, tomato or ANYTHING else! It was GREASY burger (DRIPPING GREASE) & extremely SALTY bacon! The fries were thin, wilted, had dark grease on them (they probably don't change their oil & from the looks of the nasty stuff hanging off the burger I doubt they even clean their grill) & were SO COATED WITH SALT that we couldn't even eat any of it! We drank the sodas & dumped the greasy burger in a garbage can down the street because the grease was literally dripping through the bag & stained the carpet in our car! This place is DISGUSTING & OSHA should give them a visit! I'm sure they'd be shut down immediately! read more

This is a burger worth traveling for! I'm so happy that we stopped in while traveling through Oakville as we now have a destination restaurant on a beautiful drive! If you live locally, I highly encourage you to come support this spot! The hand cut shoestring fries are perfect and only enhanced by the homemade fry sauce. We've stopped at the Oakville Burger a few times now, I'll be stopping every time we go through Oakville from now on!!! We got lucky the other day and they just pulled some yummy melt in your mouth pulled pork off the smoker, it was amazing!! It was just like my husband used to make and he was a competition smoker in the Pacific Northwest BBQ Association (PNWBA) and has won many prizes along with even getting Tri Tip of the year one time. They have hand cut fries without all that crusty coating and they're to die for along with the home made burgers. They even had hot dogs and cotton candy for the kids. Great place to eat. read more

Driving through a neighboring town and we stumbled upon Oak Burger, A small burger shop with big potential. The cheese burgers are big and loaded with all the goodies from bacon to pickles but not much sauce. The burgers are huge and the pattys are great quality meat. However, I felt the pattys lacked flavor and the burgers were honestly quite dry. The fries looked over cooked but were quite delicious. My son Loved his hot dog basket. We got a burger combo, hot dog combo, and an extra burger for $30 so they prices aren't bad. Service was friendly and faster than expected. Overall, I like Oakburger and will go back and get me a oak burger with extra sauce. Yum! read more

Great new place to eat with amazing service! All of the staff was super friendly and though the space is small the amazing burgers make up for it! Only SLIGHT complaint is the fries- I've had them 3 times now and though the flavor is so much better (fresh cut so not frozen fast food fries!) they are not crispy at all- I'm not sure if that is an unrealistic expectation for this kind of fry but no matter what the burgers will keep me coming back!!! read more
