Excellent above and beyond customer service! I called and asked if they had anyone that could sew a denim rivet button on, same day, and the person who answered the phone immediately sensed my urgency. She asked their seamstress and said, yes. Nobody else in town would do it same day. This place was amazing, down to Earth, welcoming me with a smile every time, and quickly handled everything. They are very organized, high-tech, but the high-tech is behind the scenes. They have never damaged a garment, overcharged me, or even once not had an item ready when it was promised. I receive an e-mail message (or text message) when my laundry is ready for pick-up. How cool is that!? The second time I went here they greeted me by name and started to pull up my clothes before I even get all the way in the front door! That's just amazing customer service. They don't even ask if they can carry my clothes on hangers to my car for me... They just do it! It can be difficult to find a quality laundry and cleaners that takes exceptional care of your expensive clothing items. I have my favorite wardrobe items that are one-of-a-kind. I used to worry when I'd drop them at another dry cleaners. Not any more! Patty, Charlie, and the entire staff at Oak Forest Cleaners always take care of me. I have used Oak Forest Cleaners off and on due to my financial situations. it is my go to place. I absolutely love this place. About one week ago I was very disappointed with the customer service location on Fair Park. The young lady at the counter obviously was not having a great morning. To make a long story short, she argued with me over an overpricing. After paying for my corrected price. She came to my car while a customer was in the store and brought the items I'd left to get serviced and told me she was not providing the service, to go to Markham. What has happened to the quality in service at my favorite clearners? This type of offensive behavior is not professional at all. read more

I came prepared with 3 rolls of quarters and lots of laundry. I got all loaded up and couldn't figure out how to pay. There was a girl on staff the was wry friendly and helpful. She took and showed me how to buy time for the machines. It cost me about $45 so it's not cheap but it's very clean and well maintained. The girl that was working actually hugged my neck and wished me well on my future move. I really enjoyed and will return. read more

Im giving Oakforest cleaners one star because of how much I use to love it but, not anymore! The gentleman that calls himself the owner needs training or replacement. In seeing the other reviews im not alone. If you want an honest reliable cleaners just know this place is not what it use to be. If you want good cleaning and great sevice scratch this one off your list. read more

Yall...I have to recommend this business and the wonderful staff here...they are the best....I had a problem with an article of clothing and I took it to them be abuse they were convenient and I mean everyone was so nice and responsive and they solved my problem...plus there are not many businesses out there that is this genuine in whst they do and who they are...please go see them they will make your day better guaranteed. read more

I've been to Oak Forest Cleaners once. One of my 5 shirts came back dirty. I had asked the counter person if they would pretreat stains. I didn't get an answer. I reviewed their prices on the company website. It states shirts are $3.05 per shirt. They charged me $3.50 per shirt. This is false advertising. New again! read more

I've been a faithful customer for years. Five of my expensive blouses came back dirty & Had extra stains on them. The owner was rude & rasict about the situation. The owner made a joke stating my clothes were probably use to mop the floor. read more

I dropped my daughter's dress off to be cleaned and altered. When I went to pick up the dress, I was greeted with hostile service by a little racist white guy with curly hair, and the owner was no better. The owner didn't care that his employee had called me a bitch out the mere blue and then told me he was not going to check me out. I said I'll take the dress and leave then, and he says, "We have cameras." I honestly didn't give two craps about their cameras when they were the ones giving me bad service. First they couldn't find my order; they saw I was becoming stressed because of this distressed (not belligerent). They showed no compassion for me or even said it's okay, we will find your order. The little gay guy was so unprofessional and nonchalant; he did not give two shits about trying to help me. The owner came up and starts hollering at me, telling me I won because I called his employee a racist piece of shit after he had called me a bitch several times. I will never go back to this cleaner, and I will tell all my friends about this experience. The owner was so ignorant, hollering at the customer, instead of trying to help me, hollering at me like I was a slave and had no right to be upset at how his employee treated me. It was a very demeaning experience. This man has no right to still be in business... honestly. He does not handle his customers with care or tact. His employee calls me a bitch out the blue because I was stressed that they could not find my order. I, at not anytime had disrespected any of the white people on the other side of that counter. None of them showed me any compassion. No, I will never go back to this cleaner, and I encourage every other black and brown person to take their business elsewhere. read more

Oh my! Went through the drive thru this morning to drop off some cleaning and was greeted rudely about not coming in. When the employee orders me into the building, I left. It's to bad because they do a good job on cleaning but customer service needs to be sent to it's own cleaners. Just shocked that they have a drive through and don't want customers to use it. I am new in the area. I only gave them one shirt bc I wanted to try them before I gave them bunch of clothes. The shirt still had stains on it. When I asked them about it, they got upset and made it looked like it's my fault. She started to give me life lessons on how things don't always go the way we want..?? They still charged me for it. These guys are great! I took my shirts in the other day after another cleaners consistently sent them back with broken buttons. They replace the broken buttons free of charge the shirts looked way better than they did at the other place. Prices are good and the front counter was super helpful. Try them! read more
