I want to like this place. I have had food from here before and it was good. But my gripes is not about the food. It is the inconsistency of service. Friday night, having been in observance of the lenten season, I wanted to give their fish and chips a try. A pleasant man carefully took my call in order. When I arrived, a woman asked for my name for take out. I told her my name. She immediately reached behind her and grabbed a take out bag and gave it to me. I proceeded to start my debit card for the transaction and she walked away. Not even knowing if my payment had gone through. I even added a tip. When I got home, to my surprise, there was a cheeseburger with some sauce on it, bacon and onion, along with fries. Not the fish and chips I ordered. Being that I brought it home and opened it, I just figured on eating it anyway. Despite the fact that it broke my lent observance. I was too tired to go back and rectify the situation. This was a lesson learned for me...always check your order, even if you feel rushed. No matter how busy the restaurant might be. read more

Oakdale Pizza is consistent and tasty. I feel like I can't give this five stars when there are places like Nino's nearby, which is hands down the best pizza in the area (and all my friends agree on this), but Oakdale Pizza will not disappoint. They're done on time, they can handle big orders, and the staff is generally friendly. I'll certainly be ordering from here plenty more time. read more

Not sure how people like this place. I ordered a fiery chicken wrap, a steak and cheese, and some jalapeño poppers tonight. They told me twenty minutes/I got there in 15 and the food was already waiting. The chicken wrap was breaded chicken with a slice of cheese on it and no flavor. The steak and cheese was just dripping with grease and inedible. The jalapeño poppers were cold-they were crunchy which is great but the cheddar cheese never fully melted. They also charged $9 for 5 poppers... No way we're coming back here. It was $37 for those three items which was a complete rip off. read more

They have really good pizza!!! We did not enjoy the wings, they were breaded prior with seasoning and we prefer our wings sloppy and messy with sauce. But the pizza was SOOO good, the dough had a wonderful taste, that really added to the pizza. Will definitely be ordering again and would recommend to others for sure!!! read more

They have good pizza & salads but for the sides $6 for fries you'd think you would get a good amount.... pretty sad amount and they're soggy from the box they put them in. read more

Local restaurant withe plenty of seating and take-out available. Pizza, burgers and the usual staples are great, but give them a call and find out what the specials are. Soups, sandwiches and special platters are almost available ranging from seafood chowders to pulled pork sandwiches or corned beef dinners. Friendly staff, clean place, and they support the local community. Not sure what could be better. read more

Had a wonderful time sitting outside in nice area covered with fresh outdoor carpets. Food was delicious. Menu was full of options, it was hard to choose. Pizza, sandwiches and burgers- all outstanding. Service was friendly and helpful even though we sat outside, she kept checking on us. Highly recommend. read more

Got a "compliment" that I must eat in because it'll be better. I beg to differ. We have eaten a here a few times because we did live nearby. It is was it is. // The pizzas are good albeit I think a little pricey for a large. (FYI: Their large is 14". ) We've had the other items (it was ok) on their menu but the better items are their pizzas. Their pizza is a thick crust (not deep like Chicago or thin like NY). It's tasty and holds the sauce and toppings. The crusts are airy and spongy unlike NY-style with its bubbly crumb holes. One thing to keep in mind, if you pay with credit card, there is a fee. This is new to us so we're a little peeved. I understand the costs of credit card machine fees but still... Oakdale is a food desert so we're glad we have pizza spot nearby but it's not the best pie. However, it's good pizza for around here so I'll give it 4-stars. read more

I live in this neighborhood and I don't want to leave a bad review but I'm sorry the food needs to improve.

The food is OK... A Co worker raved about their food to me so I decided to swing by on my way home from work. I ordered a grinder to pick up. Upon arriving I stood at the counter for 5-10 min while about 5 employees glanced at me, walked past me, talked to each other, and turned their back to me. All the while I can see my order ready and on the counter...I felt invisible... if they would have said something, even a "be right with you" my review would have been a bit different. The food is ok but the customer service (at least to me) was abysmal. I will never return to this establishment but I'm sure they don't mind by their attitude which is much too common nowadays they simply don't need my business. read more

Ordered the grilled wings and they were some of the best I've ever had. Large wings with an almost smokey flavor. Really good. Ordered a pastrami grinder and the field greens salad. That salad was super good and the grinder was very tasty. I try not to give too many five stars but the food, prices and wait staff were exceptional. read more

Wish I could rate the service a zero. It boggles my mind, how management and owners could let service staff potentially poison their business. Walked in, server just looked at us. I said do we seat our selves? I was told yes. When she came over for drink orders I asked if they had a certain wine. I was told, "No." never suggested another wine, no sorry, just a fat "No." She never smiled and seemed uninterested. Eventually, we just left without ordering. I had the steak and timo cooked it perfectly. The calamari was a little underwelming but overall we had a nice dinner.

So unfortunately I am again disappointed/ last time was customer service by the owners daughter this time on the eggplant parm . I paid 16.95 for a bowl of penne pasta with some eggplant , no mozzarella nothing- I will add that this was overpriced and nothing special their lasagna was delicious and worth the price we paid. I just don't understand how one can be 16.95 with no meat and lasagna with sausage and hamburger is so much less expensive. So if you like eggplant oakdale pizza is not the place to go. read more
