I ordered from here twice, hoping to give it a second chance after a less than stellar first impression. First time, we got the risotto, and it was very disappointing. Neither my kids nor I could eat it. The second time, we ordered two different pizzas. I do like the thin crispy crusts, but they were both rather flavorless. I ordered goat cheese and garlic as add-ons, and the goat cheese was just sort of lumped in the middle, rather than actually topping the pizza. Didn't get very much of it either. It took me until my third slice to even taste any garlic... and then I bit down into a whole clove. Whole cloves in and of themselves would have been fine. But there was ONE on the whole pizza. I checked out coastal crust after a beach day. We went off peak (around 3:00PM). They took out the booths that were part of the prior restaurant and added tables/chairs. We ended up getting the margherita pizza, which was among the best margheritas I have tried. It was well seasoned, had plenty of cheese and tomatoes on it. The pizza was big enough for two people to have leftovers! I would definitely go back to this place, probably for takeout. The price was also super reasonable too!!! read more

This was our first visit in! The staff were so nice and the food came out so quickly. We ordered garlic knots and a buffalo chicken pizza and everything was phenomenal. The food here exceeded my expectations. We had a few of the largest garlic knots as an appetizer and split a buffalo chicken pizza for dinner. Both were quite exceptional. I've been searching for a pizza in the area where the crust the was crispy on the outside but also soft once you bit into, and this hit the mark. We went at an off-time and were some of the only people in the dining area. The service was good, garlic knots and pizza came out very quick. The interior was nicely decorated to match the theme of the restaurant. We will definitely be coming back for pizza in the future read more

Ordered take-out on the Toast app. Found out short ribs were 86'ed upon arrival so short one entree of two. To use the app an Email and telephone number are provided, no communication from the restaurant. Ordered wings as the burger and fries was getting colder by the minute. Staff not proactive thinking let's do a fresh order of fries as the customer just had to order a replacement. No condiments or napkins placed in the to-go bags. Food quality was a two, burger okay, fries cold, fresh wings did not have a rub or sauce and the blue cheese dressing was runny. Two young girls were pleasant enough just not trained. We stopped here for the first time, as we have driven by many times. I ordered the Broiled Scallop dinner. It is described as broiled scallops with breadcrumbs in top. The scallops were either frozen or something other than real scallops. Not tender at all, in a lot of watery liquid, with a slight sprinkle of a tiny bit of bread crumbs. NOT too good. It came with mashed potatoes with the skins mixed in (again, not too great) and grilled zucchini which was the best part of the meal. As for the food, we got a cheese pizza and Mack Daddy pizza. They were alright. Very thin, which I like, but not much of a taste. The Mack Daddy was fine. Barbecue sauce may be better than buffalo sauce. Overall, because of how expensive it was, we were a tad disappointed. Will likely go back and try something else (maybe just an off day), because the atmosphere and service was lovely. Just wasn't a big fan of the pizza. read more

New place opened down the street. Ordered a Margarita pizza two weeks ago, got a slice for lunch another day and today had the Zola burger and spouse had a sausage grinder. We ordered all as takeout. Large menu. Not just good pizzas. Apps, salads, entrees and seafood. Eat in or takeout. Few pizzas offered by the slice. Pizzas are reasonably priced with specialty pies and build your own with lots of choices including prices for 1/2 pizza toppings. Margarita had plenty of fresh basil and a good crust. We did order it well done. The Zola burger was AMAZING! Juicy and loaded with Gorgonzola cheese and sautéed onions. Fries were the best in town I think...crispy even in a takeout order. Needed help finishing both. Husband could only eat 1/2 his grinder. Great addition to the town..and far from just another pizza place. read more

Four trips to date. Two I ate in. Nice place. Newly refurbished. Appears clean and sanitary. Good menu. Average prices, but not competitive. The prices are not worth driving across town for. Cesar salad is pretty good. The couple of grinders I had sitting down for lunch are good. .The two I picked up to go sucked. They seem to be hastily made. One was not heated or included cheese. The other no lettuce or tomato. You have to be very specific and check them before leaving. Not worth the drive for me. I have plenty of more local options. Still on my radar for a sit down lunch. Just don't be in a hurry. The waitstaff is not. read more

We have ordered out the last 2 times. The first time was for fish & chips and muscles. Both were excellent and reasonably priced. The second time recently was also for fish and chips. The fish was much smaller this time and we were very surprised since we had very good portions the first time. A bit of a disappointment. read more

We were so excited to try this place out when it opened. It has a weird vibe and the food was not great. The dining room is stark white with plastic furniture. Lighting is very bright. We ordered an appetizer and a pizza and weren't impressed with either. Service was ok...waitress not overly friendly. I will say we have been seeing a lot of great reviews since then, so wondering if we just caught them on an off day. read more

i got a pineapple bacon pizza last night everything was awesome except for the pineapple they were big nasty chunks of pineapple core. We just came from Coastal Crust in Niantic. Awesome food, generous portions, fantastic menu, friendly and quick service. Five stars all the way around and I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. Their bread bowl with pasta, sauce and the most gorgeous meatballs you've ever seen was phenomenal, the pizza to die for and the cod Florentine melted in your mouth. Can't wait to go back again.
