Really good pizza. However, I have never paid so much for a small cheese pizza in my life. their website said a small cheese is $8 and extra cheese $2. Fair. Complete market price. I get there and they say $21. The screen shows $14.50 for the small cheese extra cheese and then a N/A bev fee $ 4.50. I said I didn't get a beverage. They said yeah I know we have to manually add a line for the extra cheese charge. So they charged me $21 instead of $10. For a small cheese pizza with extra cheese. Very strange experience. Did you grow up in the 80's and 90's eating Pizza Hut's pan pizza with the melty cheese, soft on the inside but crunchy and buttery on the outside dough, and those bacon-like crispy pepperoni on top? I can just see some ninja turtles scarfing it down. This pizza will transport you back to those days! A great little joint in Salem's "Four Corners" now a rotary so it has no corners, haha. This small was a little pricey but worth every penny. They have a bar, booths, and a little take out area. Stop by for lunch or dinner, some drinks with friends, a kids birthday party, or grab your meal to go. This little restaurant feels homey and inviting. They have a full menu with some vegetarian and vegan options too. Maybe in the future they'll add plant-based cheese to the menu, fingers crossed! Good beer selection and friendly staff, but the food just is never consistent. I'm torn because it's a local business and the owner does a great job with veterans and supporting other local businesses, but it continues to miss the mark for us. We've been going here for a few years now and the food is always hit or miss. Unfortunately of the 15-20 times we've visited, we've had to send the food back 3-4 times, and some other times we were just polite and didn't send it back, quickly getting out of there and heading home. It's greek pizza, so if that's your thing they have some good options. I'm not a fan of it, so I don't order it. My wife has ordered the Big Mac pizza and was a huge fan of it. I've tried the pasta dishes and the pasta has been overcooked. The wings are normally a safe bet, but the last time I got them they were undercooked and not crispy. The Rueben is usually a good one to get, but sometimes the bread is way too mushy and not toasted enough. The innkeeper sandwich was a fan favorite and I liked that. The fries are awesome and have always been great. We've done takeout a lot from here as well, usually grabbing a few grinders. Again, depending on who is making it will depend what you get. I'd say 4/5 times it's pretty good. The menu seems like it should be overhauled because they offer a lot of different dishes-I'm just curious what items they consistently sell and which should be removed. The bar is always a treat and welcome, and where we prefer to sit. I can't say enough great things about the bartenders we've met. They are often overworked but they do a great job taking care of us and trying to handle the other customers if other waitresses aren't staffed. I wish they'd have music playing-it's always so quiet in there. We're going to take a pause from this place and explore some other options. It's just too inconsistent with subpar food. If you want to grab a drink and that's it...maybe a side of fries, then have at it. read more

We stopped in for a bite after taking my mom, who is wheelchair bound, to the docs a couple of doors down. We heard from Dr. Giordano's office that the hot dogs (chili dogs) were excellent. The person who greeted us was very pleasant and allowed us to sit at a 6 top due to my moms inability to get in and out of the chair. I found this to be super respectful of our elderly and would encourage the elderly to come here. The chili dogs were excellent and the fries complimented the dish. These were some of the best fries I have had in a while. I rarely would comment on this, but whatever the are doing, don't stop. Again, the waitress/ server was super helpful and pleasant. She focused on my mom which I appreciated as it are her and us feel welcome. Ok ok ok I GET IT! There are 500 pizza places in the area but wait just a second and hear me out..... We arrived 20+ deep on a Tuesday at 630/7pm and were greeted by a man that called himself "The Greek Freak". He was welcoming and very friendly. The service was great. They cleared out some booths close by and quickly got to work with our orders. The food took no time at all to hit the tables. Everyone's order was accurate, hot, and fresh. I got the Eggplant grinder and you may think that you know how this thing was going to taste (believe me, you can rarely teach an old dog new tricks) but holy Shih Tzu! OLD DOG yes, but doing a nollie flip like a skateboard sequel to "Air Bud" or something!!! The eggplant was seasoned and breaded to per-fect-ion. It was crispy hot and there was plenty of melted cheese and sauce. My only regret was to not know these details in advance and order one for now and one for tomorrow's lunch. Sadly we had to pay and hit the road. I loved the vibe of the place. Very old school pizza place with a more traditional menu but when I spoke to everyone in the group they had nothing but compliments to the staff for making our impromptu pit stop turn into a regular dinner spot for many more nights to come!! read more

Decided to stop in for a drink and appetizers since we have driven by the place so many times and never tried it out. We both were very happy with the ambiance service and as far as food we shared the nachos with chili and loved the. Unfortunately I forgot to get a picture but I will next time. The plate was enough for three people. It was so big we didn't even finish it. The bar is very small and only seats eight maybe ten but it is very comfortable. Really like coming here when we visit CT. Excellent craft beers and pizza, this time we had potato skins and meatballs, and could not be happier with them. I also had the craft stout, and was very pleased with that. They also have an array of desserts (we had the peanut butter blitz! Yum!) and I doubt you can go wrong with any of them. What a WONDERFUL surprise! We drove an hour from home to bring our little pooch to Salem Valley Veterinary Clinic (well worth the drive), and found ourselves with an hour to kill & growling tummies. Our vet recommended 2 Brothers and what a Top-Notch place that is. I wish I'd caught the waitresses name, she said she's been there a while... she was a terrific waitress! Attentive without being intrusive, friendly and warm, and she had terrific recommendations! We had a Greek lemon chicken and rice soup that was delicious (no photo, sorry). My husband couldn't decide and ordered both a burger and a Reuben (which in on its way home with us), and I had the fried seafood platter. The seafood was super fresh! It was perfectly cooked and the batter was perfectly light. It was so fresh and lightly fried, I don't even feel "bad" or guilty , which is a plus! My cole slaw was delicious and even the fries were too. If you're lucky enough to live close to this restaurant, you should definitely give it a try! If it were closer to us, I'm sure we'd be regulars! read more

I stopped by 2 Brothers Pizza and Pub on my way home on a work trip. It turned out to be an excellent lunch option. First of all it reminded me of a regional Cheers, a bunch of regulars at the bar and everyone knew each other. I was waiting for Sam to walk out, maybe Norm. The server was very friendly and knew everyone. While the menu was fairly diverse, I went with the roast beef on the pretzel bun, which was excellent. Nice toasted bun and great roast beef. There was a good beer list including Fox Farm, which is right up the road. I would most definitely come back to the 2 Brothers, what a cool local dive. read more

Love this place. Like the name says, it's owned by 2 brothers. The menu has a ton of choices - I've had a burger there - medium rare, eggplant grinder, Chicken sandwich and Nor'easter roast beef sandwich - best sandwiches around, pizza, and nachos - all delicious. My wife has had a personal pizza there, clam strips, pasta and salads and loved it all. Everyday there are specials and the desserts will blow your mind. And we're both foodies that like to eat out a lot. The beer list is amazing and always has 2 local Fox Farm beers on the list. And there's a full bar, with about 8 seats, 3 high tops and 2 booths in the bar area. And more seating on two sides of the restaurant. You can tell these folks are connected to the community by featuring local fundraisers to help someone in need. We get here every week! read more

I joined my parents for a visit here, and the staff was exceptional. They remember their repeat customers. Everyone was friendly and quick without making us feel rushed. The food was also great! A small salad is actually pretty big. And there is a gluten free crust option for pizza. My dad is in a wheelchair, and while they don't have automatic doors, the doors are wide enough that his elbows didn't bump the frame. The staff was accomodating. Wonderful experience! read more

Pizza review. Driven by this place a hundred times but never noticed it driving by. It blends in, at one of those dinky strip malls, on the side of the road near a traffic circle. Beachgoers get off the highway but head south at that traffic circle and most likely don't see it there either, so I'm going to guess all the business comes from the locals, and based on the reviews Ive seen, many seem to appreciate the place for its beer selection. If you check out the pics section for this place, the only menu pics you find are the drink menus. Sooo... the beer drinkers seem impressed! But I drink two beers a year, so I am not going to be enticed by mere booze. If you got PIZZA in your name, you gotta bring the goods. Some relatives were staying at a nearby campground and when we visited they suggested the place. They were fans, I said I'd buy, and forty five bucks later we had two pizza's. The small was known as the Mediterranean Pizza. which was tomato, Spinach, Fresh Garlic, Feta Cheese, Mozzarella. Sounds ok, was a change of pace. But the crust lacked any crunch, and was just kinda...there. Same with the large which had hamburg, mushroom, peppers and onions. Sauce was something you would get at any number of CT pizza houses, did the job, but nothing to write home about. Notched it up another star for the mozzarella on board, it did have good cheese on it. Same crust issues were going on, barely made a support for the toppings, the whole slice just kinda sogging out. I suppose you could blame it on the topping selection which helped in greasing it out, but things would improve with a few more minutes in a pizza oven. Limp pizza? Nayyyyy. Notched it up another star for their mozzarella, it did have good cheese on it. Crew was friendly. Always a plus. There are a zillion pizza places in CT, and there are a bunch of really good ones, this wouldnt be my first choice, but if its any consolation, Ive had worse. Better than a Domino's, ( where I'd rather eat the box). ;) Better luck next time!! read more

Place packed when we left. Husband loved the local beer they poured and we stopped at the brewery down the road to pick up a growler on the way home! The service is always with a smile, warm and welcoming staff in every area of the restaurant!! You can take out or eat in. I saw the specials listed for today on Facebook. There was a sandwich I believe it was called the Bullseye. It had a 6 oz steak on ciabatta roll with carmelized onions, and Gorgonzola cheese. It tasted heavenly!! The steak was cooked to my liking, the onions were perfect and the cheese topped it off very well. It was listed as a special, but I hope they keep it on the menu. This is definitely not just your standard pizza place. The seafood here is absolutely, positively amazing! If you order the fish and chips you'll see what I mean. Super crispy outside but moist and tender inside, really an excellent batter which I venture to say has beer in it, and so flavorful! Everyone in our party was just really impressed with the food and the service. Another star dish was the stuffed sole, cooked perfectly and generous amounts of crab stuffed inside. The marinara sauce on the pasta that came on the side was also really very good, I'm just still in shock at how perfect everything tasted, you know how hard it is to find a place like that only to realize it's hundreds of miles away from where you live? *sigh* They have several craft beers available on draft and bottle/cans, and if there's something you're not sure about on draft, they let you sample first before committing to something you wont like. I found the prices for beer to be extremely reasonable starting out at $3. I would go out of my way to come back the next time I visit Connecticut, it's worth it. read more

So we entered into a pretty busy restaurant, the waitress was extremely nice and asked us how many. We said 4 adults 3 kids. She said about 20 minutes, no problem willing to wait. I don't know if it was the kids or the fact that we were people of color but the boss/manager comes up to us, with this energy that was that of someone who didn't want us in the restaurant. He comes up to us the wait is 45 minutes. He was trying to get us out of the restaurant and not trying to keep us there at all. I feel bad for the servers that lost out on a tip, but there manager likes to judge a book by its cover. If you want to support a man who is rude and perhaps racist eat at Brothers. read more

Went for the first time tonight, ordered fried mozzarella they were really good! Also ordered loaded baked potato skins those were okay. Got an extra cheese pizza it was so good!! All the food was excellent! & you know what was even better?! A pizza place with cocktails! But we both ordered a Long Island iced tea, it didn't taste like there was barely any alcohol in it... LIT is always our go to drink but I don't know if I would order a cocktail from there next time, I will definitely be back though. The waitress barely checked on us though but it's a pizza place ‍ she seemed overwhelmed and super busy it was a Wednesday afternoon. We arrived at the shore just as a tropical storm hit the area. After driving around downed trees and power lines to find a place open for dinner, we found 2 Brothers. They were filled to capacity, but we waited just a short while for a table. Although the staff was surprised with such a busy Tuesday night, they clearly worked together to take care of their customers dining in and carrying out. We chose pasta dishes and were not disappointed with the flavor or generous portion size. Spaghetti with two gigantic tasty meatballs and full-flavored sauce was more than enough for dinner and lunch the next day. Likewise with the cheese stuffed rigatoni special with chicken, sausage and veggies. This place is definitely on our list of places to return when we're back in the area. read more

We had the 85 wings, cheese pizza, and potato skins. This is our usual order when trying out a new place and all three were delicious. The wings were bigger than most places, the skins were full of bacon, and the sauce was not overly sweet. One downside but not a huge negative is the crust was very thick and "fluffy" not thin or crunchy. The staff was extremely friendly and service was prompt even though it was busy. Second visit we ate in-house for lunch. Only two people eating and our waitress sat at the bar watching soccer while we sat for over 20 minutes for a burger and sandwich. To bad cause the food is decent but we won't eat here again. As far as food-burger was over cooked and dry reuben was chewy and to much kraut.
