Charley's Pub & Grill has a Monster Burger that will feed 2 people. Excellent prices and really good customer service. We go here several times a year when we are on the east coast. They have a fireplace and a friendly full-service bar with just about anything you can name. Warm cozy setting with a homey feel. You always feel welcome. Walk around and check out the pool room. They have a couple of good players at any given time that will give you a good game. This is a must try. read more

Stopped in for a quick bite at the bar and to play a few games of pool. Food was your typical bar food, we had the peanut butter and jelly burger and my husband loved it, I wasn't the biggest fan (that could just be a me thing hahah). BEST BURGER! I finally checked this place out, and my go to for any place new is to have a burger. And I was not disappointed! I had the coma to die for burger, which was absolutely banging! Huge juicy burger, meted cheese and bacon, with a side of fries. Delicious. There were a bunch of other burger options, which i cant wait to try. A work college had the french dip grander, looked amazing. The place is clean asf, and overall a very warm welcoming place to go to. Definitely recommend, and wait to be back for more. read more

Great food, trash service Unless you're sitting at the bar, don't expect to get served. Second time here. Place wasn't busy at all, after several minutes we hunted down one of the waiters to even be greeted for a seat yourself, no waiter came to give us a menu in over 10 minutes... or ever, they were just chatting and avoiding eye contact. We just walked out because we have better things to do with our day. Worked as a waiter before, and so has my gf. Staff here needs to be re-trained because this is a basic A-B-C in the food industry. We've been to this place s few times and have never been disappointed. Last night my wife took me out for a birthday dinner. We had burgers and well done fries with fried mushrooms as an appetizer. My wife ordered a Cinnamon bites kinda thing for dessert. Once again, everything was wonderful. Our server was Mark. Very attentive and engaging, but not overbearing. This is a fun place to hang out, and even meet people, which I think a lot of us have been missing in the last year! The food isn't amazing, just your typical bar food (but perfect for late night cravings). Drinks are pretty affordable, and usually made nice and strong! I'd consider this a fun place to go on 1st/2nd/3rd dates: Have a drink at the bar and get to know each other, then head over to the pool tables and bring out your best competitive banter :) I've been on some fun dates here, myself, and the atmosphere made me relax my nerves a little! read more

First impressions...had a great time. Jen friendly and helpful. Only ordered the loaded fries - seasoned fries, cheese, bacon, and extra scallions. So tasty. Fries crispy and well seasoned. Plenty of bacon, and a perfect amount of scallions. Served with a small amount of fresh (tasting) ranch. Also had a pitcher of beer. Can't recall the name. Very light with citrus notes. Regulation 9-foot tables. A little fast but quite fun. Will be back for sure! read more

Stopped in for dinner. On the way in, saw the parking lot was pretty packed. Inside, saw that most of the place is a pool hall and they had a very active league event going on. Had dinner in the bar area. Staff was friendly, although a bit distracted serving up drinks for the pool players. Although recommended, the pizza was just okay. Hawaiian is my favorite, but you need more than a few little pieces of pineapple to make a good pie; generous amounts of ham though. Will probably look for another place when next in town, before going back. read more

So my friends said this place has some pretty good burgers.....I was there around 10pm and a burger seemed a bit too heavy for me at that point so I went with a turkey wrap & fries. Overall a good sandwich. Some of my party got a pizza which looked decent. Would like to go back and try the burgers. I don't play pool but for those who do this is attached to sands. read more

I have been to Charley's several times, and I have never been disappointed in the food. Everything has always been delicious and fresh, and they are reasonably priced. They give you a basket of chips and homemade salsa (which is very good) to start off with. One of my favorite things I have gotten there was the burger that has peanut butter on it. They have a pretty large selection of food to choose from. The only thing that was lacking was the service. More than once the server brought the food and pretty much forgot us, but the food was so good that it almost made up for it. read more

We went into Charley's Sunday night to have some food and drinks. We sat down at the bar. Bar was empty except for a couple spots that had glasses and trash sitting. There were two ladies working behind the bar. No one greeted us when walking in or sitting down. We sat for 3 minutes still no one approached us...so I grabbed some menus that were down the bar from us. We decided what we wanted to eat. Ten minutes later still no one has come over to take any order. Finally we walked out. On my way out a girl says thanks have a good night. Lol umm..I said back bad customer service we were waiting and she looks at me and says oh sorry. Whatever. You saw us you just didn't feel like serving us. I will not be back. Horrible customer service and not friendly at all. I don't recommend going to Charley's to eat at all unless you feel like wasting time waiting. read more

A definite sleeper in town. Incredible food and atmosphere. Stella's has a pretty good burger but you've got to try one at charley's. Best burger in town in this guy's opinion. I was not interested in going to Charley's. It was my beau's suggestion. I was like "Isn't that at the Sands? I don't play pool." I was in an amicable mood so I agreed to go anyway. I'm so glad I did! I ordered the Murder by Burger and it was FANTASTIC. Their fries were good also. My beau ordered a beef burrito and said it was great, and those chips...man oh man, Charley's...those chips are so good. Best tortilla chips ever! Hands down, real good food. They make their burgers and sandwiches cooked to order and flawlessly well prepped. They've got reasonable drink specials. And have pool tables (over a dozen) if you don't want to be at the bar. Plus their wait staff will bring you your food and/or drinks right to you while you play. If I could give it less than one star I would! Horrible service, every single time I've been here...and last night was the worst and definitely the last time I will go here. I was there for a birthday party of over 15 people and our server had the biggest attitude ever and was impossible to find through out the entire night. At one point I walked up to the bar to get a drink (since they had taken my debit card up there to keep my tab open) the bartender asked us if I had a table open and who it was under, I didn't know my server's name so I pointed to her. She then yelled over to her and told her that I wanted another beer. When the server then rolled her eyes and put my beer on the counter and waited 10 minutes to give it to me! It's a good place to play pool. The food has a bit more of a selection than most pool halls. and interesting names to them as well. There, you'll find the juke box is taken over most nights by Hispanic music or rap. But what do you expect from that area. Just remember to pay the extra credit to hear ur music next, or you'll be waiting FOREVER. And the drinks are a bit pricey. So if u have money to burn.... go there read more

Recently stopped at Charlie's - looking for Pub Grub. Service is great, friendly and helpful. Their menu is a hoot and a lot of fun to read. We had a tough time deciding but settled on a few things: the Heart Attack (fried munchies) - just what we were craving and it was great - something for everyone!! I didn't think I was in the mood for a burger, but there are some many interesting ones to choose from. I ordered the Zeus - I love Gyros, so this made perfect sense. My husband, a card carrying bacon lover ordered the You Filthy Pig. Both of us enjoyed our burgers!! We will have to try dessert next time. We noticed that everything coming out of the kitchen looked great from sandwiches, salads and the pizza too. Definitely will stop in again. read more

I am still in shock as I drive home from my experience at Charley's. I walked into the building and was pleasantly surprised at the decor and cleanliness. I had not visited this place since I was a teenager and it was now remodeled and very clean. I ordered a Bloody Mary and it was good. Not over the top, but good. As I sat at the bar rail I looked over the menu. It had a lot of good options. I was happy I chose Charley's for my day off lunch until I heard a very horrible women conducting an employee meeting. She was horrible to her employees. It soured my mood. After a while I listened to her turn her conversation to how she felt about her customers. She and I quote said... The customer is not always right. We run this show. She also spoke about charging customers again for soda after they have drank the third one. She was harsh and rude. I had to leave. When the owner came through the door I let him know that I did not appreciate such a meeting during business hours in the main dining area. Smoke breaks, your take on customer service and scheduling issues should not be discussed in front of people trying to enjoy their afternoon. His response, and again I quote... I did not come in here to be bitched at. Too bad and what a shame. This could have been a good review. Jaime was a good bartender. I guess that is all I have to say about Charley's. I will never ever go back. The management is a disgrace. read more
