Small micro brewery, located outside of Grand Rapids. Flights available. Was a bit disappointed with the service and the friendliness of the staff compared to most venues in the area.. The staff seemed as if it was an inconvenience to to serve customers. Fair amount of parking and nice area of town.

I fell in here looking for a local place to grab a local beer and a bite. Service was slow.... but it was friendly. The food was nicely prepared, unique selections, and good. The crowd was very nice. The place was clean.

is a craft brewery with a variety of beers on tap and a menu built up of appetizers, wings, and flatbreads! They have both indoor and patio seating which makes for the perfect spot to go out with friends whether rain or shine! Absolute rip off. $10-$12 for a HOTDOG. I also ordered the "flat bread".... uhhhhh more like $15 nacho chip with an essence of flavor and a light hand when topping the communion wafer they call bread. They "chef" is dillusional if they think this menu is sustainable. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

Great cider and menu. Stopped in for a pint and a bite to eat was busy but didn't take long to get a seat.

Food and beer decent. Prices are wrong on the online QR code from table. Didn't adjust price when we pointed it out.

Many brands were local that I'd never heard of before, and it was fun to experiment and try new things. Their food menu honestly shocked me with how tasty everything was. For a board game bar, I usually expect food to take a back seat or be phoned in, but everything was delicious! I had to try the elote deviled eggs, which was a combo I had never considered but I'm so glad someone did! I also got the truffle mac and cheese and a house salad. Both were excellent! The board game selection was extensive, with old favorites and hidden gems. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll be sure to stop in again!

I tried two flights consisting of eight different beers and all were very good, most were exceptional. For food, I ordered the Seoul Food Chicken Sando. Coming from someone who loves a hoppy IPA and an amber, they combined my two worlds into one. So, it was a natural easy love. For my next, I went with their "Blinky's Black IPA" which was good but got more a weak porter feel than IPA. Like I said, it was good and I'd drink it again but with that expectation. FOOD: I went with an olive burger with be try fresh and real ingredients. The burger itself was full of flavor; add the rest of it and it was phenomenal. If I had to complain about something, I could have used a touch more olive sauce. Now the egg roll... I went with the "Guava the Hutt". I'll just say, I ordered two to go in hopes I can resurrect them in the air fryer later. The back half of the building is a pickleball area and the front half is the brewery and restaurant. Very cool look as they have a few shipping containers as sitting areas. Plenty of seating where I didn't feel jammed in. Also, a few arcade games. The service was friendly but know that it is minimal as you will order from the QR code at your table and order drinks at the bar. Definitely worth checking out and plan on returning.

Unfortunately, the food, beer, and service were all just okay for me. The beers were pretty mediocre, and we tried the duck confit nachos, which sounded much more exciting than they actually were. They were fine, but nothing particularly special or memorable. Service was also mediocre. We had a pretty large group, so I'm sure that didn't make things easier, but we waited about an hour and a half just to be seated. Part of our group was made up of small children, and it seemed like we could have been accommodated sooner given that there was plenty of flexibility with our seating. Overall, I really wanted to love Brewery Vivant because the atmosphere is so unique, but the experience just didn't live up to the setting. I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to come back.

We've come twice now where the service is just missing that extra care. We had miscommunication on the food we wanted. Which I might add the bowl of mac and cheese brought to me was so small for $13. Originally I was going to get the mac & cheese, but after talking to the waiter, I said actually I'd rather have the pulled pork sandwich with the aïoli on the side. He said OK sounds good but the mac & cheese still came out and that's how I saw the portion size for $13 which is crazy. I was confused because I thought I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and they were great and they immediately got that out to me like five minutes later however, in the five minutes, they brought it to me. The bun was literally deteriorating and soggy like I dunked it in a water cup. I couldn't even enjoy most of it and just had to use a fork for the pork- which did taste good! Overall, truly, the outdoor patio with a beer and the live music is an amazing feature, but I think we've just agreed that maybe this isn't where we eat. Not to mention, we both used the bathroom and both almost walked out and vomited because the smell and discussed in there was just horrible and neither one of us wanted to use them. They're like so close to having it right and I really hope the next time we come back, our minds are changed.
