Went on a Saturday in March at 2 pm and they were not open. Also, this is not a place you can sit and eat.

Goodness Gracious! The Ohio Club may have been the HIGHLIGHT of our trip to Hot Springs! My…read moregirlfriend and I visited all of the bathhouses and other attractions, but kept coming back to our great memories of the Ohio Club! Located across the street from Bathhouse Row, the Ohio Club has had a long history in this town, having served gangsers, famous baseball players, and other celebrities. I can see why...I mean, they like great food and good drinks just as much as everyone else! The atmosphere is off-the-charts incredible and feels as if one is stepping back in time to 1920s America. Combine this with an amazing food menu and incredible drink selection, and you've got one helluva experience! Service was stellar...friendly and prompt. She was also very helpful with menu selections and drink choices, knowing exactly where to steer two virgins of the Ohio Club experience. We chose to share the Reuben, which was a great choice because it was so big. For drinks, we opted for the Ohio Rum Sour and Berry Ohio...never looking back as they were both delicious! WE...WILL...BE...BACK!!!

This is a great place and we always stop in whenever in Hot Springs. This trip didn't disappoint…read moreand we visited twice. We always strike-up an interesting conversation with people sitting at the bar. Several local beers on tap and we had the Space Force, an IPA, on both visits....very good. We split a Reuben sandwich with fries and it was excellent. I also ordered a side of fried okra, which was delicious and so hot, I had to let it cool before eating. The bartenders are always friendly and will talk if time allows. The whole place has a great vibe. Speaking of the okra, I noticed that on my bill I was charged $13 and change for it. I thought WOW, but gladly paid the bill. The more I thought about it, I figgered it must be an error. On our second trip, I mentioned it to the bartender and asked if it were possibly an error. It was an error and she asked me how to make it right (there was a logical explanation for the error). I made it clear that I was not complaining, just wanting clarification. She asked if a complimentary order of fried okra was OK....certainly! Great place and a Hot Springs icon. Highly recommend and dont skip it.

THEN, there's this homeless looking guy standing at the rail outside of the restaurant watching one of the games on TV. There may have been 3 tables occupied in the whole place and at least 20 open. Where does she sit me and my wife? YEP. At the table where the dude is standing. He is 2 feet from us. Only reason I didn't get up and leave is because I knew my wife was hungry and this was the only option and it was already 2pm. I think there were 3 or 4 very young people working in there. I wish I'd taken a picture of the sad little old fashioned I ordered that was 1 ounce of bourbon and some sugar. Two sips and that was gone for $12. Didn't see the waitress for a while so I walked to the bar and got a beer. Can't go wrong there. Beer was fine. We order chicken tenders and french fries to share. Can't go wrong there, right? Wrong! Wrong! The chicken tenders had a funny taste to them and they were rubbery. The fries were fine. So we shared the french fries, finished our drinks, hid the uneaten chicken tenders in the french fries basket so they wouldn't ask any questions, paid the bill and got out of there. Lord have mercy. Can't wait to never go back.

Great spot to catch NFL games. They even put the Bengals on a tv in front of my table just for me…read more My waitress was very attentive and patient, especially given I was lollygaggin' about watching the game and waiting to get the word to check into my hotel. I got the side salad, which was simple, but yummy, and the nachos --- which were huge. It looked like I barely ate anything when I finally told the waitress to take them away. Small beer selection. No craft beer to speak of, but Hot Springs may not be big into craft beer, which is ok. All in all I would recommend this place to anyone looking to watch a sporting event.

Review #18 out of 25 for 2025 lets goo!!…read more This restaurant caught my eye on my trip to hot spring Arkansas. Its located off main street in the downtown area so its easy to get to. Plenty of street parking but what I had an issue with was that they close everyday at like 3pm! They are missing on so much potential business, specially since they are within walking distance to all the tourist attractions. The first time I went to eat here they were close, the second time I went in they were about to close down. Well third time is the charm and I was finally able to eat at this restaurant. I already knew what I wanted looking at their menu from the window. I got the country fry steak with mash potatoes and okra (its my go to), with white gravy and sweet tea. I got a side of brown grave to compare and I like the white gravy better (the brown one was good but too salty). They did have a bit of a wait but that was fine since I knew this place was in a busy tourist place. The food was hot, it had flavor and came out in a reasonable time, the okra was crisp and not burnt, the mash potatoes were chunky but thats ok (wish they would have given me more). The steak was delicious and if I were in the area again I would stop by early before they close.

We waited a bit for food and yes it's a little outdated HOWEVER the service and food were great! Our waitress was as friendly as could be and kept my coffee filled. Husband had the ham and cheese omelette and a side of biscuit and gravy. He's a fast eater anyway but there was nothing left on his plate. I enjoyed the breakfast croissant sandwich special. The croissant was smooshed but that didn't change the taste. The bacon was perfectly cooked! Hash browns were also cooked just like I like them. Just have patience while you wait and you'll enjoy yummy food and friendly service!
