Went on a Saturday in March at 2 pm and they were not open. Also, this is not a place you can sit and eat.

So glad we don't miss this hidden gem. It's in the back of a bathhouse, Hotel Hale, on Bathhouse…read moreRow. We went for brunch (available Saturday and Sunday only.) It's a cozy dining room with a small bar (seats about 4.) Not a huge place so reservations are recommended. Staff were super friendly. I didn't feel out of place in my sweatshirt and jeans but will probably wear something other than a sweatshirt for dinner. It was super cold outside. When you walk into the bathhouse, you can't see the restaurant. Someone at the front desk takes you back to it. The gentleman that took us back was very welcoming. He walked us to our table and gave us information about the menu. If you walk into and no one is at the desk, it's because it takes a moment for them to walk guests back. Be patient. We both had the Vintage Breakfast and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had the Morningrita wish was really good. I had their Classic Bloody Mary. Their mix is made in-house and is great. Oh and they have a Mimosa Flight!!! It's a bottle of champagne and your choice of 3 different juices. We tried mango, pineapple, and strawberry kiwi. All were spectacular. We will definitely be going back to try their lunch and dinner menus.

For example, another restaurant, in Houston no less, offered a house made tortellini dish with TRUFFLES for $32. Maybe I should've considered my options a bit more but the reviews and recommendations set high expectations. The ambience / vibe felt poorly executed. Seems like they use the side room for storage. During our visit the door was left open, and it was obvious employees were going in and out to watch the basketball game. The one positive was the drinks.

My wife had spent a few years living in Germany and she claims the food is extremely authentic. Although I don't have that reference point to judge the authenticity all I can say was it was extremely good. I enjoyed everything it came on our tray . Our bill with one large combo entree, two sides, onion bacon pastry one drink and one soda was $ 112 That may sound expensive for two people, but I think it was well worth it. The restaurant itself is located in a historic brewhouse. With all of that being said... you can certainly expect a wait, especially during peak hours. For our party of three at about 11 on a weekday during the middle of spring break, it was about an hour wait. Thankfully, it wasn't too big of a problem. We still had some parts of Bathhouse Row that we had to explore. When there was a spot available, we got the notification through text. We headed on over. We were seated at a table right behind the host. It was shared with another pair but there was enough room so it wasn't too much of a problem. Usually, we don't drink. However, because of the uniqueness of this place, we just had to try. We aren't built for the Beer Bath that allows you to sample all 18 beers on tap. Instead, we opted for the flight which was more than enough for us. I'll be honest... I can't tell the difference at all between the different beers. Nevertheless, that speaks more to my inexperienced beer palate. The four taps that we got were all tasty and lasted us through the meal. For starter, we got the fried cauliflower. Crispy exterior that made our daily veggie intake that much more delicious. Paired very well with ranch. For main, I got Rose's Burger. The bacon jam provided a good amount of sweetness that was balanced by some of the spice from the pepperjack cheese and the savoriness of the burger itself. My mom got the reuben sandwhich. It was standard. My dad got the steak sandwich - it's basically a philly cheese. I thought it was particularly good especially since they use beer cheese made in-house. In terms of serivce, I will say that it was slow at times. However, as mentioned, this place is incredibly busy so definitely gotta give them some grace. In the future, I'd definitely come back again given the quality and uniqueness of Superior Bathhouse

We were a party of 2 that happened to arrive the same time as a party of 8-10 around 8pm. It was dark and our table wasn't really set up for service: there was no night lamp on the table to read the menu and it took forever to get napkins and silverware. We ordered hamburgers, fries and beer. Food was meh. Fries were cold and burger was mediocre at best. We still left a significant tip bc we truly talking w/our server, a Hot Springs local, who ultimately made our experience pleasant. It's nice to sit outside on the patio if the weather is nice. Indoors is loud.

The inside is uniquely decorated with features such as accordian lights and the original inudstrial ceiling of the building. There was a bit of a wait as the table was prepared. We were then quickly seated. To start off, we got the pepperoni chips. They're exactly what you'd imagine. Crispy pepperoni slices that are served with a side of marinara sauce. Now, don't get me wrong... they were definitely good. However, would I get them again? No. They were more salty than I would have liked. We mainly were looking for a non-carb starter. Looking back, we probably would have gotten the caprese plates. In terms of pies, we got a large half-n-half. For the first half, we got Hot Honey. Great mix of savory with the shredded pepperoni and then the sweet & spicy offered through the hot honey. Then for the other half, we got the Fungal Jungal. There were crimini, oyster, and portabella mushroooms... plenty of flavory as well as a good amount of roasted garlic. This was probably our favorite out of the two. Though both were still good overall! Aside from the food, everything was reasonably priced and service was top-notch! Definitely recommend!

The pizza itself had 3 different kinds of mushrooms and it really hit the spot post hike. Good place to chill and hang for a decent price. Waitress was fast paced and on point. I made fun of it when I read the sign as my father would eat Vienna sausages but this is not that, so good! The pizza is actually really good and it's Chicago traditional not Chicago pie which is thick through out. Had the long count and it was delicious. I added a side meatball to try which was ok, i found it too crumbly and dry but sauce was ok. Only thing didn't care for was the cheesesteak. I guess I had a mind fart and was thinking Philly cheesesteak which I wanted. This is an overstuffed pot roast style sandwich which is not the style I like. Lots of cheese and didn't notice the peppers or mushrooms. The au jus added didn't help the sandwich. The fries were ok the onion rings didn't have flavor. Not a fan of big fried rings. First off, the pizza was absolutely incredible. They call it Chicago-style, but honestly... I lived in Chicago for 14 years, and I can't think of many places there that beat this pizza. We ordered the KO Pizza and it was outrageously good. Perfect crust, loaded with flavor, and the kind of pizza that makes you stop talking for a minute because everyone at the table is too busy eating. The place was packed wall-to-wall, so service took a little while, but it was worth every second of the wait. Honestly, when a restaurant is this busy on a Sunday night before Memorial Day, that usually tells you everything you need to know. Also worth mentioning: I ordered a "small" side salad... which arrived in what appeared to be a family-sized serving bowl. My mom and I ended up splitting it because apparently Rocky's definition of "small" is "feed a softball team." Prices were shockingly reasonable, especially for the quality and portions. This place is a true Hot Springs institution right across from Oaklawn, and if you've never been, you absolutely need to go. It completely lives up to the nostalgia and hype. And a special shoutout to Jamie the bartender -- infectious smile, bobbing her head to the music while pouring drinks, and bringing such a fun, welcoming energy to the whole place. People like that are part of what makes restaurants memorable. Can't wait to come back.

Come with an empty stomach if you get the pork chop. It is a very generous portion and is delicious! The grouper was perfection...crispy on the outside, light and flakey inside, sitting atop beautiful spring vegetables and a lovely light beurre blanc sauce. It was topped with edible flowers and micro greens. I regret that I did not take a photo (we were so hungry), but it was just divine. We happened to stumble upon this gem randomly during our trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas not expecting much but wow were we absolutely blown away. First, you walk into a dimly lit, intimate dining area and seated at a table with very comfy chairs and menus that light up for visibility. Next, your waiter is SO knowledgeable about every item on the menu. I had history lessons about the rice production in the area while learning about which dishes to choose. While waiting for your food, you are served an edgy orange-glazed dinner roll that is simultaneously intriguing and comfortingly familiar. A delicious twist on a classic. The head chef also came around serving an amuse-bouche of another experimental apple dish which was an explosion of flavor in my mouth. Food comes- oh my goodness I cannot explain how amazing the Chislic beef tips were. Every component of this dish was just so thoughtfully crafted and well-blended. Each bite was bursting with flavor and energy. My partner also loved the potato soup. Our mains were equally impressive- my fennel rice in particular knocked my socks off. I have never tasted rice so decadent and aromatic in my life. The salmon was of course great but certainly not the star of the show. Finally, the bread pudding at the end was the cherry on top of the culinary bliss we had just experienced. I would drive 10 hours back to Hot Springs just for this restaurant. So sad it has to be so far. Do not miss your opportunity to come here if you happen to be in town!!
