If you come in when the boss is around, you'll get a fantastic car wash, otherwise, it's just ok.

Carwash service is ok. But at the oil change section they dont know how to reset your car's Multi-Information Display but they can reset all your settings to factory settings but oil lamp still stays on !!!! read more

Most definitely do no go here for anything other than a car wash. I had been coming here for at least 10 years for oil changes because they come with a free car wash. Without a doubt for the first 9 years they tried to screw me saying I need something else done. I have seen them do this to so many people over th years and I would tell these victims that they are probably being taken advantage of. It is crazy how they prey on people who don't know about cars and I especially have seen them to this to girls which is wrong. This place has way too many stars on yelp. About 4 yrs ago it was an okay place to go to. Currently this is a waste of money! Every single time that I washed my car here within the past year or two has been a disgusting experience and the car always left dirty both inside and out. After a car wash last week I have decided that I will never spend a dime at this car wash ever again! I came to get a basic car wash (in and out) . Being a female, I felt like the male that takes in cars for a wash tried to rip me off. He tried to sell me a fancy wash saying how dirty my car was. When I politely declined several times he continued to be rude and insisting I get that wash. I didn't think that wash was necessary for me especially during the winter, and I am also not a push over therefore he was not successful! Poorly done wash, Rude customer service. I went to get my car washed last night at around 10pm after work & running errands. I went through the auto wash which was obviously same as always. There were two men who wiped the car down. The rags they were using had to be the ones they used the entire day previous to my arrival because they left dirty smears all over my windows. They didn't even do a thorough job drying it but I said screw it, it's cleaner than it was before, so I left and didnt say anything. This morning, it rained [just my luck]. I called up Oakley's because I knew they [like ALL carwashes] have rain guarantees. The girl that answered the phone told me that they do in fact have a 48 hour rain guarantee...but not on washes done after 6pm. That made no sense to me because I expect most people work and can't get to a car wash before 6pm [i guess thats the point?] and its the same business no matter what time the car is washed so whats the deal? I asked her why thats the policy, she mumbled something about not knowing, put me on hold, came back and said "i dont know why" to which I told her thats ridiculous and that they were losing my business. She laughed and hung up the phone. How lovely. 20 minutes later I called back- too peeved by her behavior to let it go. I immediately asked for the manager and got a man on the phone. I told him about my exchange with the girl and got no apology for her rudeness nor did I get an explanation as to this "policy" aside from "thats the policy". I told him that I was disappointed with customer service and that I would be reluctant to get any repeat service at Oakleys. His response? "Okay." I've bee going to Oakleys for years- even though the service has gradually worsened over the past few years. Funny enough, given that their service is getting worse, their prices are getting higher. It used to be 5 bucks to get the night wash, now its 7. For rudeness and a crappy wash, I can hose down my own car. There are a thousand different car washes in brooklyn, I definitely will be taking my business elsewhere. I actually dont even live in the area anymore and make sure to stop by and get a wash when I'm around because I am so used to that place. And just a P,S- there are SIX cars in my household alone. Been using their oil change and car wash for years. For those who say they are upset with entering the car wash to find it is exterior only, there is a huge sign posted at the entrance saying EXTERIOR only. READ. I went for an oil change here (again) - I have an older (2006) foreign car. The men here always give me a price quote before I agree to service. I always use Castrol oil. They always check all fluid levels and tire pressure. They are considerably less expensive than the dealer is and I am in and out in under 1/2 hour all the time. The free car wash that comes with the oil/filter change is exterior only, and because of Covid, that's all they are offering. ... But be aware, you sit in the car while it is being washed. I was a bit anxious about this, but it was OK. For those that say they don't dry your car, they dried my car. My car had not been washed in at least 6 months, it came out of the wash extremely clean. Oakley's is a terrible car wash don't ever go there i went to get an oil change and i had asked for mobil 1 full synthetic and they had put regular oil instead the oil change came with a free car wash which they did a horrible job on alot of water spots everywhere and the enterior of my car still had alot of dust everywhere as if they didnt even wipe it down complained to the manager and they re-did the oil change for me but no apology or nothing as a matter of fact the manager had the biggest attitude problem as if he was doing me a favor like im not the customer bottom line do yourself a favor and never go to oakley's car wash if you dont want to over pay for sub par service read more

Driving a BMW i8 I want it to look fresh. I went to this place to get a car wash. The worst experience I've had at a car wash. Yes, the prices are cheaper, but the service is horrible. My floor mats were not cleaned thoroughly, the dust next to the window was not whipped and the outside part of the car still had dirt. I tried to express my concern and I wouldn't mind them trying to rewash the car, but no one speaks English there. I would rather spend a few extra dollars and go somewhere else. read more

I love this place. Have been using them for years- they do a good job with interior/ exterior basic clean and are not overly priced. The wait time is not too long usually. I have been a customer of Oakley's for many years, primarily for when I rent cars. I no longer live nearby but I've always thought they did the best job. I went out of my way recently to go here, and I've never seen a lazier crew. It was cloudy out so there weren't many customers that morning, and no excuse for not doing a good job. Been going here since 1997. Love this place i work in Brooklyn and always make sure i stop by for a wash on my way home at least once a week. Always a good job washing and cleaning my cars. The long lines are worth the wait. They are fairly priced and open late with late evening discounts. I live in staten island and all our car washes out here are at least a few dollars more. DON'T GO HERE, YOU WOULD HAVE TO WASH YOUR CAR AFTERWARDS!!! The price was 38 dollars however I gave the man two extra dollars for him to do extra vacuum since I have my dog in the car most of the time. After the man was done, the wheel and the shift was very sticky. The carpeting in the front was not vacuumed and the back looked the same. Even the outside has dirty spots. What's the point of going to a car wash where you have to clean it yourself after wards. I am not going here ever again. So I was like wtf do you need my drivers license for. These crooked thieves here. If you don't accept credit cards then you have no need for my license. The bad reviews are all pretty accurate and believale. They forget things all the time and cut corners and always, and i mean always, door a poor job drying afterwards. After i had mentioned it to the same man few times once and he still forgot to do it i just stopped going. Also their power wash seemed to leave circular marks on your car more so than anywhere. But one thing is for sure, after going there for some time you will likely be frustrated about one thing or another. This is probably the best place around Brighton beach to get your car cleaned up. Nothing exceptional, but for $15 you get your car washed, vacuumed and hand dried in about 5 minutes. Very efficient car wash. read more

Zero stars. It is 10 for a car wash. The vacuum part is closed. A month ago the worker told me it was 15 for wax, Rainex and Armoral tires. I said ok give it to me. Two weeks ago a different worker told me it was 16. I paid him and received the services. Today I told the man I wanted Wax and Rainex also. He told me 21 dollars. I told him no way, it was 16 two weeks ago and 15 a month ago. He goes away and when he comes back about a minute later he told me ok 15. I go through the car wash and receive no wax. Zero. I did get Rainex. I asked to speak to the manager. The so called manager was the guy I paid 16 for all services two weeks ago. He would not refund me 5 dollars. He knows my face. I have bought numerous car wash books of 10 from him. In fairness I was told to go back through the car wash. I had no time. My wife needed the car. We are down to one car. They admitted they did not give me wax. Games are being played with prices and services. Games are also being played on how much English they understand and speak. That is my opinion. I tried calling Stuart M that answers the reviews. He listed his number. He did not answer the phone after 8 rings. Nobody did. When I told a neighbor about this he told me they are always playing games there with prices and services. I am a long time customer that will never return. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. As many others have indicated in the google reviews, your car will come out with dozens of light scratches all over which speaks volumes about the shitty equipment they use (and/or poor maintenance of it). I would need to spend hundreds of dollars on a paint job just to fix to the damage this car wash did to my brand new car. To top it off, one of my bumper guards fell off and I asked the attendants to go find it and they all just stood there and ignored me. Finally, one of the attendants emerges with it from the inside and tosses it in the trash. Terrible service coupled with rude attendants. after lots of snow storms in NYC and constant road salt i went to wash my car at Oakleys. the main reason for that was to get that damn salt from my under carriage. there was alot of salt there and the car began to show rust spots. when i got there I got their 14.99 wash deal that includes nearly everything. i followed my car through the process and everything looked legit. when i got home parked my car i was curious to see how much salt was left. to my surprise it was all there. my wash choice included the under carriage wash as well as rust inhibitor. they didn't do either. very disappointed. felt cheated. will never go back. read more
