Bacon egg and cheese bagel. Iced Caramel latte with oat milk

I work down the street and just discovered this cute cafe! Starting off with the customer service, super friendly and efficient. The food was great! I got a bacon egg and cheese bagel and an iced Caramel latte. I will definitely be back.

    Chicken salad sandwich

Chicken salad sandwich was okay. I wish there was a way I could have requested the bread to be toasted or added other things to the sandwich. Bread didn't crunch as Dutch crunch usually does. Cafe has lots of options so I'll definitely be back to try something else on the menu.

This is how busy this place is

Great sandwiches I love their Hot-link sandwich This place is always popping, and I am surprised that they have so little reviews

Great food and service, workers are super sweet. Place is always full but very clean and cozy.

I like to look for new spins on lattes to see what barista's are whipping up to make things unique. I came in thinking I was going to get a basic latte, but the Borgia Mocha caught my eye! I asked the cashier if it was a good choice and she recommended it. I was a little unsure how the two would blend and how much orange they would use in it, but it came out amazing! Honestly probably one of the top 10 unique mocha's I have tried and it was delicious! I loved the burst of refreshing orange that complimented the chocolate. The flavors danced on my tastebuds like two separate flavors that blended together as one. Each holding their own note that added value to the drink making it unique. I was instantly impressed and wish I found this on more menus! A classic mocha with a refreshing twist of orange was a pleasant surprise! I'm so glad I stopped in for a pick me up! I also loved all the art on the large walls and there looked to be plenty of tables and seating for people to eat and work at.

=== Incredible coffee and food. Great vibes ===…read more First, awesome experience. Second, I hate that I keep finding these experiences an HOUR away from where I live. Was meeting up with a friend from Berkeley and he found this spot in between the both of us. Pros and cons! + The coffee - holy shit. Got a cortado. And drank it without sugar it was so good. A touch of bitter (it's coffee - duh!) but so smooth, almost nutty but buttery at the same time. + Got a chicken salad sandwich. It came stacked HIGH with hints of sweetness and curry. Freshest produce. Honestly, I was hungry but could only eat half of it, it was so big. + Friend got a warmed cinnamon bun. Incredible. Yeasty, chewy almost crisp on the outside but pillowy soft on the inside. + Wide open space inside -- high ceilings, one big central area. Not tucked away spaces -- which might or might not match your preference. + Perfect amount of coffeehouse buzz. Music playing lowish in the background and lots of conversations. Just enough to quell my ADHD tendencies. * Honestly can't think of any negatives. Prices are a bit high but happy to pay it for such a quality experience. I think my cortado was decently priced -- maybe $6 or so? Sandwich was $18 or so but done really well and came with a bowl of soup (chips, fruit, and something else was an option instead of soup, but tomato bisque with a sandwich? Divine.) - An hour away from where I live but if you live anywhere East Bay, my curse is your blessing ;-)

Afterwards, we decided to get some boba, and I wanted to try a spot I'd never been to before, so my friend looked up some spots, and we settled on Kittea. Since she had her pup with her, she stayed outside, and I ordered tor both of us on the in-store kiosk. I got her a jasmine milk tea and myself a passionfruit tea with pearls. I adjusted the milk tea to 50% sugar but was informed the fruit tea doesn't have added sugar so can't be adjusted. I'm not sure how it's made here, but it was still quite sweet and flavorful, and the boba was the perfect level of qq. While waiting for the teas to be made, I snapped a photo of some cute cat plushies lounging on the window seat. The shop isn't very big, but I was the only customer at the time, so it was cozy but not crowded or cramped. I would come again if visiting San Leandro again.

When I arrived at 4:30pm on a Sunday, there were no customers. It's small with limited seating and there was no AC so it was hot inside. I ordered a matcha with oat milk, and I like that the matcha was not grainy and the milk didn't overpower the tea. The drink was good, but I can't justify paying $11 for it. I think that's the most I've ever paid for a matcha. They also have specialty drinks and snacks that looked intriguing. I'm glad I stop by to give it a try.

They have a bunch of outdoor tables and chairs under shade in the parking lot, and plenty of free parking in the lot. The fries were crispy with light seasoning on them, and the sandwich is huge. I'm not a fan of the red cabbage, but the amount and the crispiness of falafel was great. Hummus is off to one side inside the sandwich. There was a small cup of yogurt sauce under the sandwich. So they do get really busy and it might be better to call in your order if you're in a rush since the ordered do seem to take over 10-15 minutes to complete. I ordered the falafel pita and my partner ordered the chicharron sandwich, which the owner said was his favorite sandwich. My partner said that the sandwich was one of the best he's had in a while and the spicy mayo it came with was pretty delicious. My falafel sandwich on the other hand was good, but I did get tired of eating it because there was not as much variety in the falafel pita as I would have liked. At times I felt like the falafel was dry, and since the sauce was in a cup, I had to spread it and wasn't super satisfied with it. The fries were fresh but the portions were a little small. We also ordered a bowl of lentil soup and a green smoothie. The green smoothie tasted as if there was no sugar added and had a lot of ginger in it, so it had heat to it. The lentil soup was tasty and came with bread, albeit a little lukewarm when we got it. Overall, we were happy with our dishes and want to come back to try the other dishes. There is only outdoor seating, but there are about 8 tables to sit at outdoors. The owner seems very gracious and proud of his establishment. He says that everything is made freshly there from scratch, including the sauces. They do get their bread from a local bakery. There is clearly a lot of care put in the food, and it is a great establishing. We will be adding it to our list of lunch spots.
