Got a polish change on toes as well-- the lady helping me did a great job on both toes and fingers, and after it was done she said I was welcome to chill out for a little longer and enjoy the massage chair-- I loved this, and especially considering it was nearly 6:00 (closing time on Sunday) I felt it was a generous offer. Went in for a shellac manicure and pedicure. Only giving two stars because my manicurist was nice, and tried hard. She was much too heavy handed, and caused three of my fingers to bleed. Three days later, my cuticles are still red and swollen.My shellac polish chipped within two days (she didn't cap the edges), and overall they were sloppy. I don't know what has changed. The quality of work and customer service just isn't what it use to be. Dip left all over my fingers, me answering 5 times that I don't want a pedicure, one nail looks atrocious, and my nail tech telling me several times I'm quiet because I'm choosing not to be chatty. I'm an introvert, I'm not chatty. And the constant comments about how quiet I am really just made me kinda anxious and ready to go. Then there was the tell your family and friends about us. Well... they make us feel welcomed and have great drinks. But they usually can do a typical one hour nail job in half the time . Which is great for those on the run and in a time crunch. Unfortunately it results in a messy job and a VERY painful cut during cuticle cut down. it seemed as if all the tools came out of a sealed package - hopefully nothing more painful will be the outcome of this sloppy and painful nail job . read more

If you feel you want relaxation and beautiful nails at the same time, you will get the nails but won't be in an oasis of relaxation. I get my nails done to feel calm and relaxed from the everyday elements of work and being a mother and a wife. I want to feel calm and I want to feel at peace; didn't quite get that feel here. Don't get me wrong if all you want is to get your nails done, then come here but I like the spa feel. Oasis is a business, they have you come they have you go. Although they indicate that beverages are complimentary with any services that is not the case, your drink options depend on your investment. Wow what a beautiful and clean salon! That I will be returning too! When I got there it was busy but it wasn't much of a wait maybe 5 min. I decided to get the deluxe mani and pedi and it was worth every penny. I sat down and was offered either wine, mamosa, margarita, water, or soda. I can't pass up a glass of wine LOL! a wonderful woman named Tiffany did both mani and pedi. I will now always use her and would recommend her to everyone!! Not only is she sweet she does wonders! The one thing I LOVE about mani and pedi's are the massages. If it's a bad or rushed massage I don't think it's worth it. Tiffany spent time trying to make sure I was happy and spent a long time massaging my neck/shoulders and legs. I hate writing reviews, but I think it's important to note that while they have a friendly staff and nice extras like beverages and massages, the quality of their work leaves much to be desired. I get dip nails at a different place in Katy but needed my nails done on a Sunday before going into work the next day - Oasis was open and my usual go-to was not. I had been to Oasis for pedicures before and enjoyed the pampering so I figured I'd try out their dip nail services. I'm very upset that I bothered to make the drive to them. My cuticles and fingers are rubbed raw, the shaping of my nails are wonky, and I'm just severely unimpressed. The bottom line is that my nail technician worked WAY TOO FAST, clearly had no idea how to do dip nails, left powder underneath my nails and clear polish all over my hands, but was so nice that I felt obligated to leave a tip. I will not be returning for dip nail services, but I will possibly consider pedicure services again. read more

Visited Oasis for the first time today. I was a walk-in for a pedi and there was no problem, no waiting. Selected my pedi options and polish. Was given a beverage ( I only wanted water) and a heated pad for my neck and shoulders. Kathy did a fabulous job. Good nail trim and massage. She polished my nails and they turned out great. Following that I received a shoulder and neck massage. Oasis is a lovely new location. Clean and bright. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Free wifi. Being a Friday morning it wasn't too busy and I didn't feel rushed. My only complaint would have been the sound level of the music. It was just a little too loud, but I was sitting below one of the speakers. Maybe if it was busier the sound system wouldn't have seemed so loud. But I think I found my new pedi place. This place has the highest rank in the area so my daughter and I decided to try it out. We stopped in for pedicures on a Sunday, arriving @ 4:30, (they close at 6) but we were immediately greeted with a smile, directed to choose polish, and seated in a massage chair. It is clean, well lit, beautifully decorated to feel like a very upscale spa. They offered a drink too, we of course chose wine, and loved the soft music playing. Their massage chairs are comfy and intense. You can choose from 5 different levels of pedicure ranging from the 20 minute express for $20. to the 70 minute crystal jelly pedi for $60. I usually choose to exclude exfoliating because the salt is rough on my sensitive skin, but this was soothing and smelled wonderful. My daughter and I went in at 5pm, waiting less than 10 min for a mani/pedi and set of acrylics and were out by 6:15. The polish dried super fast so even tho I left very soon after she finished I didn't get a smudge (first time ever). We'll see how the polish holds up but so far I highly recommend this salon. The staff offered fast, efficient and friendly service and the salon in general appeared very clean. I will def be back. They offer a 5% discount if you pay cash. So I used to LOVE this place and I went today and got a pedicure and they didn't even get all the dead skin off my feet. I also got my legs waxed for the first time and the price is $25, well they charged me $49 because apparently I have too much leg hair, and after the wax my legs still have so much hair on them that I have to shave them now! I called at 1 and was able to be in at 1:30 for a pedicure today (4th of July, Saturday). When I got there, I was immediately checked in. They let me choose which fragrance was used for my lotions and directed me to pick a nail color while they got my chair ready. They have very nice massage spa chairs where the back and seat both massage. Everything was clean and they used liners in the foot tubs. They have little trays with dividers that they portion each patron's lotions, masks, scrubs, etc in. Trish did my pedicure and was a bit too gentle on the foot/leg massage but a little too rough on the shoulders and arms, although I could just be extra sensitive today. The shoulder massage was too short. I'm not sure how long she worked on me, but it couldn't be more than 5 minutes total. This was a pretty unique experience and I will likely go back again soon at least for an express pedicure. I did not have any of their yummy drinks since I am pregnant, but they had red and white wine, mimosas, margaritas, and some other non alcoholic beverages. I believe there is a minimum purchase in order to receive some of their drinks. For any men interested who are unsure, there were 3 men getting pedicures during the hour I was there, so you will not be alone if you choose to go! read more

My manicure tech, Angela, was initially ok but to start off, she cut my nails way too short . If I wanted them that short, I would have cut them myself and not even bothered to get a manicure. When I looked at my fingernails, she said "oh you didn't want them that short?!" I told her she should have asked if she wasn't sure how short to trim them. I have never had someone cut them that short. It honestly felt like she resented having to do the manicure to begin with. Her reply "I thought u saw me cutting them." Wth? My husband and I came in to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We each got a pedicure. When my husband was seated he was told to put his feet in the water. After telling the technician that the water was too hot for him she told him "its fine." Someone came and asked us what we wanted to drink. After I mentioned that it was our anniversary she offered me water and soda. We felt discriminated against because we were not offered alcoholic beverages like other customers. We then had our feet tended to and when my technician was finished she asked if i liked it and thanked me for coming. My husband's technician just stood up and left. I asked to have my nails painted as well and told the nail tech that we could move to a table if it was more comfortable for her and she said please and thank you. After that was over my husband paid and then we left. Once we got home I noticed that some of my toenails were not shaped, just cut straight across with clippers and the sharp edges left unattended to. My husbands toenails weren't shaped AT ALL, all toes were left mishapen and jagged. My fingernails were ok, there were some spaces left on the sides. I called the manager/owner the next day he said all he could do was fix it if I came in the next day (it was Sunday). The first time I came to this spa it was such a great experience, I was even offered a mimosa. After this last experience, I will not be returning. read more
