Sam did my gel mani and regular pedi - he was very detailed oriented and took his time with my nails. I went in on a weekday evening and was the last one of the evening so that worked out great! Sorry for changing my 5 star to a 2 star. But this is what happened, i made an appointment with him on the phone for Saturday at 10am to do a Christmas design on powder. I arrived before Sam and his wife Jen was working with someone and a person waiting. Keep in mind i specifically told Sam i had to be gone by 11am. He said no problem. So now at 10:10 Sam walked in and he had this sour energy on him. He didnt greet me just said what you having done. His wife Jen said something to him and he looked at the lady waiting. Then he said to me "you have an appointment?" As he looking at his book. "Yes i told him, we talked in detail im your 10 am appointment." "You sit over there and decide what you want, i need to take off her nails for my wife 1st," he said. I felt disrespected and embarrassed oh upsettting too! You just dont treat people that way especially one that always gave you respect and not to mention the 50% tips i give you! An appointment is an appointment you don't push people aside and have your wife do her own work. Sam is rude as hell. I simply showed a picture of what color I wanted it happened to be from Pinterest and asked if they had that color or similar in acrylic powder and he literally told me and I quote "you can go there if you want that color" after I already had the nailed glued on! He then suggested a color which at that point I just shutdown and allowed them to finish their work! Regardless of how the nails come out I will never come here again! The two ladies that actually did my nails were nice but at that point I had nothing nice to say so I stood quiet. I came across this nail salon on yelp because I was looking for a place that could do designs. I decided to take a chance because I was lured in by some of the photos other yelpers had posted of their nails. I have to say that I am sure glad I took a chance. I showed Joanne a picture of a design I had in mind and thankfully she was able to recreate it. She took her time making sure my nails were shaped to my liking and even made sure that the design was exactly what I wanted. The only reason I took off a star was because the sign posted outside the door said they open at 930, but no one was there until 945. Other then that everything went very well.
