3.5 stars for this ramen spot overall. My Yelp bestie Jo and I arrived 30 minutes before closing so this was not going to be a leisure dining experience. Management was quick to mention it but hunger wins. We ordered quickly and ate quickly. (They were cleaning and packing up the items in the kitchen but never rushed us). Our ramen was quite flavorful and the broth was quite good. Seems during the pandemic, they are serving things in plastic containers and so the full ramen bowl experience was not there...that or it was because they were closing. LOL I'm not sure now. The overall menu looked promising and I saw a few delivery app mentions on their door so I'm guessing that they get good foot traffic when it's a normal business day. The decor was simple and meant for a fast dining experience. Now remember, this is the Rockaways so the ramen game here is not like in Manhattan. Sounds like there are very few spots even offering. I enjoyed my ramen but sad we couldn't get the full experience. Not their fault ... Pandemic restrictions. So if you're in town, it's worth a taste.

Did an online order and they didn't disappoint. Food was super hot and tasty. It's small and quiet inside but the employees were friendly. The pork bun was out of this world... super flavorful and fresh! Only wish I had more! The ramen was tasty and a little different than I'm used to but not in a bad way. The beef was delicious and the broth was soothing. The prices are also good for how much food you get. I would totally come back!

No frills ramen shop. Came here about 30 mins before closing and they kindly accommodated us. When our order was brought to us, everything was served on disposable plastic ware. Not sure if it was the norm or if it was because it was close closing time. That being said, though, the food itself was good. For $13, I had the basic tonkatsu ramen bowl, and opted for extra bamboo shoots at $1. I initially thought it was a little small as far as portion size, but the ingedients were good quality. The pork belly was a good combo of lean & fat, ramen was a perfect chewy al dente, the soup was hot & savory umami, and the ramen accouterments were fresh. I rarely go to Far Rockaway, but I'd consider returning here for a quick bite if I'm ever in the nabe again.

Great little spot but pricey for the small serving size, just call me a fatty I guess. Love the interior decorations especially the fixtures on the ceiling. We all ordered the ramen, miso and tonkotsu broth were ordered. Both broths are perfectly salted, but did not possess that hearty and robust pork or miso flavor. As I stated earlier the portion sizes were on the smaller side and that goes for the protein, ramen and vegetables. I only saw one cook and server and they were all hard at work taking and preparing our orders. I would have gave them a 3 star rating but they deserve the extra star for working so hard. We also had the takoyaki Octopus balls and they were gooey delicious with a generous topping of Bonito flakes and mayo. After your ramen meal time to burn off those calories at the B92nd Street skate park and start doing those 1080's!

I've never had fresh Ramen before only the fried stuff from the grocery store. But I'm pleasantly surprised by how delicious the Ramen is at this restaurant. We had the Pork Gyoza appetizers which were very tender and delicious with a flavorful dipping sauce. I had the Tonkotsu Ramen which was absolutely scrumptious. The pork belly was tender, delightfully crisp, and yet succulently tender. The broth was delicious and the ramen noodles were tender. There was thinly sliced ginger, bamboo shoots, bok choy and thinly sliced black fungus (mushrooms). I was surprised at how good the boiled egg was with the ramen. My daughter got the Miso Ramen, which was equally delicious but with a more robust flavor. The pork belly was delicious along with scallions, bok choy, ginger ribbons and black fungus. My daughter gave me the tender delicious boiled eggs. We will definitely be going back to sample the rest of the delicious items on the menu. I can't wait to try the edamame, pork belly bun, vegetable gyoza, spring roll, seaweed salad and the rest of the appetizers. I especially can't wait to try the Champon Ramen, Vegetable Ramen, Monster Ramen, , Gyu Men, Gyu Don and tge Cold Kale Noodles. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone /everyone........even if you don't like the store bought ramen noodles. This will completely change your mind about fresh ramen

Came here before going to the beach it was a pick up order, food came in a plastic bag w/ a brown bag inside napkins, chop sticks & spoons were included. This spot is right next to beach so we stopped to eat on the board walk. And the food was hitting! I tell you. The pork buns and edamame complimented each other well then I followed that up with the fried ice cream ‍. Had my Raman like a hour later while chilling on the beach bad idea but I still liked it even though it was cold. =( Definitely recommend!!

    Karaage Chicken and Monster Ramen
    Lauren J.

I ordered the karaage chicken, monster ramen, and a ramune soda for delivery. The karaage didn't have much flavor. The monster ramen was not spicy at all. I added more pepper to it. The ground beef in the monster ramen was really tough. I was not impressed by the ramen. The ramune was never delivered.

Vegan and gluten free options available. Apart from the usual egg noodles, they also offer bean noodles & udon noodles. - Staff was friendly and attentive. - Restaurant itself was nicely decorated. - Average pricing. - street parking available.

I have no words to describe this amazing food, it was delicious! Overall friendly service, clean and quiet place right near the beach, love it!

Edemame is topped with sea salt, just delicious

The only Ramen restaurant in the rockaways!!! What a hidden gem! We decided to try it out and oh boy oh boy, just so heart warming ramen soup. They have about 6 different entrees and we literally took 15 minutes to figure out what we wanted lol. Attached are actual pictures of what we ordered. Come and make the journey from wherever you are, I know we did (from Manhattan)

One of the best Ramen places we found in Queens. The broth is flavorful, the pork is so tender it falls apart, and the noodle are amazing.

We ordered a combo with chicken popcorn, which paired perfectly with our meal, and ended on a sweet note with their matcha jelly dessert. The Thai tea was good, though a bit rich and sweet for my taste. I'd recommend diluting it slightly to balance the flavor. What really stood out, aside from the food, was the ambiance. We were seated in a cozy, semi-private booth (almost like a little dining nook), which made the whole experience feel more intimate and relaxing. The staff were also quick and courteous, adding to the overall great vibe. Definitely a spot worth coming back to.

We tried a bunch of ramens and they were all delicious. I tried the omarice, and it was good, but the glaze lacked flavor. I feel like it would be better to go with their curry sauce. Overall, a decent place for ramen, but not going to seek coming out here.

But at last, as I searched on DoorDash I stumbled upon this glorious restaurant they call Izakaya Fuku. I was drawn to the adorable names for their sushi roll dishes like "Strawberry Fields" and their Italian Japanese fusion pasta dishes, "Creamy Mentaiko Bacon Pasta" with creamy mayonnaise, spicy cod roe and bacon like are you kidding me? It's a bummer I wasn't more hunger or that I didn't have more bucks in my wallet because I wanted all these dishes. And the Chirashi Don, god it looks so beautiful the way that it's arranged in the photos online. I finally decided on the carbonara. And I was drawn to the fact that it was udon based. Now, I've just been living in hawaii these past years so that Japanese twist on an Italian dish that I just love oh so much really brought me back to missing the islands and the Asian spins they had on cuisines.
