We had such a super long layover before heading to Qatar and decided to leave the airport for some pizza and Chinese. This place did not disappoint and it was only less than 5 miles from JFK. The server recommended the Spicy Szechuan Beef since we love anything spicy and this dish was spot on, so much flavor and decent heat. The bar drinks were limited as they didn't have all the ingredients to make an old fashion so we opted for the lychee martini. The service was fast and the restaurant was quite busy for a Wednesday night. I would highly recommend coming here if you like authentic Chinese food.

I was in the mood for a sizzling Szechuan snack and wanted to try something different to celebrate Chinese New Year. I was in a dumpling frame of mind. Thus, here's what satisfied my craving: 1. Pan Fried Dumplings with pork: nice portion but different taste that rates 4/5. 2. Szechuan Wonton with peanut sauce: this definitely put the "sizzle" in my craving... loved the wontons and the sauce had a nice kick to it, 5/5 3. Roast Pork Bun: steamed right and delicious taste. 2 buns in the portion 5/5 4. Shrimp Roll: delicious and dipped them in the extra peanut sauce from wontons. Yumm! 5/5. The delivery was fast, meal was packed safely. The only complaint was no chopsticks were included. This is a consistent pet peeve of mine, hello!! anybody out there??? Chopsticks are my utensils of choice. Please include them. Otherwise, "Xinnian Hao!" ( Happy Good New Year!)

This restaurant offers classic Chinese food and hibachi style cooking they do serve drinks (has a full stocked bar ) .It was pretty normal Chinese food for appetizers the scallion pancake was super oily and the coconut shrimp didn't taste like coconut and they gave these fried wonton strips that tasted like burnt oil .However the rest of the meal tasted fine like your normal Chinese food chicken with broccoli the sauce was a little more runny .Would come back however and try more of their other menu items !

We randomly wound up here after my son wanted fried rice. We refuse to go to a Chinese fast food establishment, bc of stories we hear, so I suggested this place, on the way home from our excursion. We used to visit, often, at their old location. The ambiance was everything. They had two floors, one for hibachi and one for the regular restaurant. This new location is quite smaller, with one room. The hibachi is in the back. It's very bright in there compared to other Hibachi restaurants we've visited. We were sat at a hibachi table, but all the way to the left. I'm sure we could have moved our plates to the center. I'm with a kid. You think they would seat us in the middle, so we could view it at a good angle, and see everything. I was all the way on the left side. My son and his father told me to look at the presentation the cook did. It was the I love you woth the heart for love, with the food. It was hurting my eyes trying to look at it, to see what it said. Had I been seated front and center, and would've been able to see it, properly, that would've been nice. All of these hibachi places are different. We did notice this one didn't flip the food inside of your mouth, which is always fun. This was the first time I was in the same room as the people not eating hibachi, which made it seem weird. They have a small space. They did what they could. At least put some condiments like salt and pepper on the meat or chicken. They didn't put any on the food or grill. It was tasteless. I didn't try the rice, but the other people in my party didn't love it, and said it tasted funny. The shrimp was good. I'd go back and try the salmon or scallops, and just ask them to salt it up if I ordered a steak or chicken.

I believe this is the third time eating here & I must say their food & service has been phenomenal every time. Especially tonight. Super friendly & efficient staff. The food is SO good & you won't brake bank eating here. The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a place like this. Not too fancy, but nice. We will definitely be eating here more often. Two thumbs ALL the way UP!

DO NOT GO THERE!! They must have changed management the place llook different, staff different. With the same money i will get same or better hibachi anywhere. It takes only one thing to piss you off, like if you see a fly in your food. 1- i have charged for the crispy noodles they give to everyone. When i asked why, oh they charge everyone. NEVER 2- i hate when servers circle the suggested tip amount. If you are not confident what you do, you should not do it!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!

Went here for dinner with my friend, the place had very casual atmosphere. It wasn't crowded during the time we went. For two people, we had more than the perfect amount of food. We ordered eggs rolls and pork dumplings for our appetizer with chili oil and the mayo, which added a great kick to it. For our entrees, we had the moo goo gai pan (which came with white rice) and shrimp lo mein. Everything was delicious and as expected from typical Chinese cuisine. The service was quick and the staff responded promptly to our requests. I would come back here to try their hibachi option, since they have that as well.

ALWAYS the best Chinese food. Have been going here/ordering take out from this restaurant since before I could remember. We never have a bad meal and we love the vibes of the restaurant when we feel like getting out. One of our favorite places ever.

Starting off, the numbing szechuan chicken was my least favorite of the dishes - the pieces of chicken were really tiny and there were a lot of peppercorns. I wish they made the pieces of chicken slightly larger as it was irritating to slowly pick it out towards the end of finishing it. Now, what went well were the stone pot with the fish. Normally not a huge fan of fish, so if I can enjoy eating fish a place has done well in preparing it. The soup was really flavorful and everyone at my table enjoyed it. The sweet and sour pork was also nice. The breading was crispy and the sauce had a nice tangy flavor to it and the texture was interestingly satisfying. The grilled beef ribs and bao buns were one of my favorite. The beef rib was very tender and went well with the buns and condiments that were provided.

Scallion bubble pancake was very light and tasty. The Emperor cabbage appetizer was probably my favorite meal item.....crispy cabbage tossed in a peanuty garlic sauce with honey. It was served cold (which usually I'm not a big fan of, but this was an exception) and had a great flavor. Pork belly appetizer tasted very good but it wasn't crispy (which would have made it so much better) and the buns they were served with didn't taste completely fresh. Dan Dan noodles with ground beef was excellent.... they're served spicy and you can simply request the level of heat you prefer to fit your taste buds. Soup dumplings were of decent size and quite juicy...... unfortunately they lacked some flavor. Mongolian beef dish was excellent as was the kung pao chicken. Overall it was a pretty good meal but there was some room for improvement. The staff was very nice and it did have quite a cool "old school American Chinese restaurant" vibe from yesteryear.

The food came out pretty fast once ordered but any questions we had about the dishes were answered rather ambiguously and when we wanted some chili oil/more napkins we had to kind of hunt the server down. And it was weird because the restaurant really wasn't that busy on a Sunday afternoon. The food was mediocre. Service was okay--polite but flat and not very attentive. Overall, it's not somewhere I'd go back to
