Again, late to the party since One Bite Cafe at the Lake Forest Park Town Center has been open for nearly two years. I'm a creature of habit and often stuck to the other side of the complex. I did not realize that One Bite Cafe took over the former Great Harvest Bread. I had checked out One Bite Cafe before in Seattle's Roosevelt neighborhood out of curiosity regarding croffles, but it didn't not leave a lasting impression at the time (open since 2019, with that visit in July 2022). However, when The College Friend set up a meet up at the Lake Forest Park site yesterday (open since May 2022, this visit on 4/9/26). There is an interior entry from the two level retail area and an exterior entry adjacent to the big shared parking lot. It took me a few tries until I found a spot. I was kindly greeted upon entry while the counter person was assisting the customer ahead of me. I ordered and paid directly on the convenient touch screen kiosk located to the left of the main register. I liked the interior transformation. Lots of onsite seating configurations and pleasant decor. Overhead music played the Beatles, which was a pleasant surprise. The wrap around pastry cases with well placed menu placards showed the variety of menu offerings. There's a wide variety of bevs, sweet and savory pastries, desserts, sandwiches, and even gluten free items from NuFlours. I ordered a 22oz iced classic milk tea with 75% sweetness and no toppings, plus some Korean sausage bread. The College Friend decided on a toasted Reuben with chips. We also shared a Portuguese egg tart. We were onsite for three hours. I noticed a constant stream of customers who also dined onsite, as well as, folks getting items to go. I appreciated observing the consistent pleasant and helpful counter staff, all with welcoming smiles! I learned that One Bite Cafe has grown to four sites: Seattle/Roosevelt, Lake Forest Park, Woodinville, and Federal Way. That's great to see ongoing success for this local, indie cafe chain. Lake Forest Park Town Center is lucky to have a variety of cafe, bar, and restaurant destinations. One Bite Cafe gets a collective 5 star for this first time visit. read more

Great snack and dessert options! Comfortable seating options! I've been in a few times for a sweet treat but tried the coffee today. The banana latte was delicious! I think if I only got the croffle and the cake, it would have been a solid 4 star. Unfortunately the other items wasn't up to par. This place have been on my list for a while now, and I was in the area so I stop by to give it a try. They had a lot of variety of baked goods as well as things from nuflours in capitol hill. The cafe is nice and there's a couple of places in the back where you can sit and enjoy your treats. We got a couple of things to try: Mango croffle 5/5 -- love the flavor love the texture, crunchy outside, soft inside. Mango was refreshing Black sesame cake -- 4.5/5 --- it was very black sesame flavor which I like. The cake was also soft, a little dry and grainy but not too bad. Blueberry egg tart 3/5: not crispy, the blueberry didn't really do anything. Apple cookie 3/5: soft cookie, didn't get any apple flavor. Spicy crab onigiri and beef bulgogi onigiri: 2.5/5 - crumbles apart and was not sturdy, also kinda pricey Lemon scone 1/5: dry, no lemon flavor at all. Service could be better as well. It looks like everything needs to be prep in the kitchen, so once you order on the tablet, the guy disappear to prep the food and there's no one in the front counter. We unexpectedly landed here while looking for something else in the area. Saw they had fun nigiri style snacks so we tried them. They were ok. I like the grab and go option but I felt the crab lacked flavor. We brought 2 home for the teens to try. They don't do well reheated , so that was a miss. The lake forest park location is dreary and most of the tables were dirty. A bit more life in this location would do it well. The staff is friendly and happy. I'm not sure I'd go back here but am glad I tried it. read more

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #76 This seems to be a newer renovated Korean-run cafe. It has a huge interior with plenty of seating - I guess this used to be a large bakery cafe given that they haven't removed some of the Great Harvest Bread decor on the exterior. They have a kiosk for easy ordering. Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Light Ice w/ Boba ($6.80) - The drink has kind of a spiced taste to it, which if I remember correctly, I've only encountered before in a small number of Vietnamese boba shops. It's interesting, almost like a like Chai in taste. There's probably a specific variety of tea that results in this flavor profile. The drink otherwise has a bit of a dairy milk taste combined with a bit of a non-dairy creamer taste. It is unfortunately way too sweet for my tastes at 50% sweet. Interestingly enough, they claim their regular sweetness level is 75%, so perhaps in comparison with other boba shops, 37.5% would actually be half sweet? I'm not sure, but I don't think I would ever get a drink here again with more than 25% sweetness. The sweetness is almost cloying and detracts from the rest of the flavors in the drink. Another strange thing they do is claim their drinks come with less ice by default and the only alternate option is no ice, which costs extra. I'll be blunt and say their default ice level is definitely not less ice. Heck, I'd even say it's more than full ice level compared to many other boba shops. The boba served at One Bite Cafe is decent. The chewiness and bounce are pretty good on most pearls. I believe they could use a bit more stirring during the cooking process because there's some consistency issues between pearls in size, firmness, and texture on the exterior, with some being more smooth, and others being more lumpy with a velvet coating on the outside. It's not too much of an issue, but is very noticeable, at least to me. Milk Tea Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 3.5/5 With all that being said, One Bite Cafe seems to be known more for their desserts than their drinks. For a place that doesn't specialize in drinks, it's pretty good. Bathrooms - None in store, but since it's inside a mall, there should be larger ones outside. read more

Yummy!!!! I tried earl grey cake and dalgona coffee. Loved the flavors in both but the crunchy honeycomb pieces in the coffee were phenomenal. I would love to come try more treats here. read more

This spot specializes in drinks and with one person working the register and making the drinks prepare for a wait, took 15 minutes to receive our already baked, packaged, and refrigerated brownie. If you are in the mood for boba, something refreshing, a sweet or savory treat..... One Bite Cafe has you covered! This ship even has an spot where you can take pics and have the perfect backdrop! I tried the Taro boba tea and the raro cake slice. I was pleasantly surprised of by the drink it wasn't too sweet and had a nice balance of flavor. Also the raro cake was nice and light. If you like the whipped mouse layers being equal to the cake layers in the makeup of this cake then this is for you. The cruffles also look good! I can't wait to try them next time. read more

The tiramisu raro cake (it looks like a waffle?) was good: portion is satisfying but not insane, the tiramisu "frosting" was light but I found the cake a bit heavy. This trendy bubble tea and pastry spot is just what the Town Center needed! They only soft opened last week, but the place was already busy when I stopped by over the weekend -- most of the pastries and onigiri were sold out. The matcha latte I got seemed to be of high quality. I'm excited to return and explore more of the drinks menu -- the taro latte, honeydew latte, and galaxy-ades are calling my name. The coffee was good. The desserts were OK. The customer service is nonexistent. You have to order a via kiosk. I stood at the counter for several minutes before I realize that the employee never once acknowledged me or asked if I needed help or said hello. It was not busy at all, there were two other people in the restaurant and they already had their food. All I wanted was a latte and I had to click through like 10 screens answering questions: hot or cold? What kind of milk? Did I want an extra shot? Did I want any flavor? What was my phone number so they could text me when my coffee was ready? What was my email? Ridiculous amount of time all I wanted was to order a latte. My friend ordered food and a drink and she must've stood up there for five minutes going through the menu options on the kiosk to try to order. I'll pass in the future. read more

I like one bite cafe, the woman working is always friendly but it can get kind've expensive so I don't go too often. The wait time can also be a bit long. I enjoy their desserts, their melon milk tea with lychee jelly is my favorite and I highly recommend. Don't go there unless you have at least 30 Minutes to wait. I am out $19.00 and no food. There is no service either. The kiosk and table order concept are great but only goes so far. 1 person there. I saw them once when I came in and then disappeared to the back, I waited and waited and finally saw him come out again, but only to give the people that had ordered before me their order, still no acknowledgment of me at all, I had already placed my order, already paid and I waited and waited, and finally had to leave as I had to be elsewhere.
