The Drumlin is exactly what you want in a neighborhood spot - good vibes, incredible food, and cocktails that actually make you pause to admire them before you take a sip. We started with their whipped cheese toast with shaved manchego, black garlic, and balsamic. Sounds simple, but it was packed with rich, complex flavor and had that perfect balance of creamy, crunchy, sweet, and savory. Honestly could've eaten another plate. The drinks are where The Drumlin really flexes its creativity. The cocktail with the gold sugar rim andb speciality ice cube with sparkles was a standout - beautifully presented and even better tasting. They clearly care about both the craft and the experience for their customers. The interior is cozy but stylish, with warm wood finishes and a bar that's stacked with everything under the sun. The bartender was super knowledgeable and friendly without being overbearing. Can't wait to come back and try more off the menu. This place is an absolute win for the neighborhood.

It is so nice to have a great quality restaurant here in shoreline and not always have to rely on Edmonds for good food. The menu here is phenomenal and I believe changes seasonally. They were just starting to do weekly specials when I came in. I devoured the salmon pasta, which struck the perfect balance between rich and fresh. The pretzel bite and Brie appetizers were also quickly scarfed down. The cocktail selection is creative and mine tasted great. The inside has comfortable seating and service was quick. Definitely worth grabbing a bite and then a movie at the Crest.

Place is a decent size and also has an outdoor area with seating. There appears to be a stage, so wondering if they ever have live music here. As for the food, it was just ok. There wasn't an abundance of choices for vegetarians, so I ended up getting a salad and a flatbread. The salad was good, and a decent size, but a little on the pricey side. The flatbread was ok. A bit burnt on the edges and didn't have much flavor. I also had a cocktail (Dandy Has the Last Word) that was not great. It was served in a super small glass, and had a very syrup-y flavor that wasn't good. Service was also just ok. I'd go back for live music, but likely not for a meal or cocktail.

Cozy brewery with a extensive food menu and lots of seating. I got a pumpkin spice cider ($7) and the pretzel knots ($12 for 6) with beer cheese (+$4). The pretzels were warm, fluffy and incredible with the gooey, perfectly salty beer cheese. Cider was great and very festive for fall too. Awesome lighted back patio. Cool staff.

I have attended a few silent book club events at Drumlin, and they are always so kind and welcoming to our group! The people who work here offer excellent service with a variety of menu items! I have tried their Mac n cheese, pretzel, and grilled cheese- all of them have been great! They also offer to go boxes too! Check out their calendar for several events hosted throughout the month!

Cool place for drinks and to hang out in shoreline. The place has a heated backyard seating area as well. The food was average, would not recommend but the drinks were cool. A little bit too strong on the raspberry flavor for me.

I love the atmosphere at this cool local hangout spot. The drink and snack menus were perfect for stopping in after a nice evening stroll. Chris was super friendly and even gave our furry friend a bowl of water to sip on while we enjoyed some sips of our own. This could be a nice space to study, read some emails, research your next vacation, or catch up with a few friends after a year and a half of isolation. Would definitely visit again and try out their Sunday brunch.

This is a lovely, spacious cafe that serves yummy home-made pastries. Great coffee and the muffins are particularly delish (and healthy).

Pretty cool find if you are ever in the neighborhood!…read more Mountlake Terrace is not a place I frequently visit, but I did because of the convenience with the light rail - it's about a 9-minute walk from the light rail station. The interior has a warm and cozy vibe; I also dig the lighting. There's a good amount and variety of seating. They don't have outlets on the floor at the benches in the center, but there are a few outlets on the walls, so if you need to charge your devices I recommend sitting at the chairs next to the treasure chest (where I'm writing this review lol). Space seems very dog friendly, and there are 2 tables outside where the fur baby pawrents would typically sit with their fur babies. I also saw dog treats at the cashier that dog owners are free to take. I guess if you wanted to eat them you could, but I would judge you. For my drink, I got the Woodsman - opted for iced, large size, and whole milk. The drink was very chai spice-forward, which I loved. The staff member who took my order asked for my name, and later on when I went up to inquire the WiFi password, he addressed me by name - impressive. The owner (?), Heather, also thanked me for coming here after I picked up my drink. Needless to say, super friendly people. I didn't get a pastry or sandwich, but that's the goal for my next visit!

I hadn't been back since a previous bad experience almost a year ago now and wanted to give this place another try. Same bad service. The bad service I received almost a year ago that made me stop coming to this place was I stopped by for lunch and got a grilled pork banh mi and asked for little to no/ very light mayo or whatever spread is on it as the visit before was too much for me and wanted to avoid that... Staff wasn't friendly that day. When I was eating the sandwich instead of little to no mayo it had globs like no exaggeration a lot/too much mayo spread for me so I did tear off a piece of the bread that I couldn't get the mayo off of and tried to take off the other globs and continued eating. I did not waste food. I just wasted the globs and a small piece of bread. I bussed my own table as that seems to be un clear if you do or don't and put the trash in the trash(globs of mayo +piece of bread) and plate near the counter. A staff member exited the kitchen and walks towards the register near the trash can and she proceeded to open the trash can and keep it open, looked at me and asked how was everything. I was honest and told her I always enjoy the food however today too much mayo and she just kept peering down at my trash in the trash and then her coworker exited the kitchen to join the convo and no sorry or anything...just kept her foot on the trash to keep it open and both employees looked at the trash and looked at me rudely so I told them thank you have a nice day and was off put by the experience. They were treating me like I was wasting or complaining. It was truly so weird like why keep the trash open and almost like try to embarrass me or treat me like I did something wrong? Also why no smiles, why no empathy. I don't like mayo..big deal! I still ate that whole sandwich! Recent visit on 06/06/26. Walked in and cafe wasn't busy, but trash on the floors and dirty tables. Two women. One seemed to be in training. No smiles, no welcome in, just a frown (no joke the woman training the other I believe was frowning and she looked mad) and a what can I get you? I ordered for dine in but was given to go box and to go utensils. I have to assume they just didn't want to do the dishes as one couple had dine in plates and were actually pointing to each other the trash on the floor and discussing their meal. I ordered the pho banh mi so I wouldn't have to worry about a mayo situation tbh. Food was flavorful and good. Portions seem to be a bit smaller than what I remember. If they added actual pho to the menu I bet it would be a hit! To-go ordering seems the popular thing here and if I return is what I'll do. Just sad as this used to be my fav spot but now I've found a better place with better service and food. Drinks here and food is super tasty but wish service, cleanliness, and atmosphere could be improved! Service is important and with my past two visits I feel it's a very unwelcoming atmosphere with the staff being hostile and cold and cafe seating indoors and outdoors are dirty. For me when spending my money somewhere I don't want to be treated poorly or like I'm an inconvenience or just being tolerated. The service leaves such a bad impression that it makes me avoid this place now when I used to recommend it.

They are owned and sponsored by a local church and I had been excited for their opening. There has been some controversy about church owned coffee shops in Shoreline. I ordered a coffee and then politely asked where was their pride ‍ flag or sign. They said they didn't have one so I offered to bring them one and they seemed delighted, and thanked me. The pride flag I ordered is an 8 x 10 sign, has all the colors, and says in bold print EVERYONE IS WELCOME HERE. On 11/17 I returned to the coffee shop. I had to wait a few minutes to speak with the manager. As we began to chat, another person suddenly joined her and took over the conversation, as I explained I'd been there last Wednesday and the agreement we had. He went on to tell me they are NEUTRAL and do not want to "offend" anyone. When I told them a sign like this should not be considered offensive, and if it were offensive to someone, maybe they didn't want that customer anyway. I said I have grandchildren who are both gay and mixed race and it's important for them to feel safe in certain environments. I told them about how my lesbian college-age granddaughter had to walk nearly a mile to find a coffee shop last summer where she felt comfortable. (She doesn't patronize Starbucks. She walked to Diva on 145th.) They felt that was too bad for her. But ... they were very adamant in their NEUTRAL position. I tried explaining how important these signs are to the LGBTQ community. They did repeat several times that they were NEUTRAL. I left the signs with them and drive by often to check and see if they're in the windows. They are not. Either perhaps in the garbage or on a shelf in some back room. The last thing we want to do in the environment we're currently living in is to remain neutral. We need to reach our hands across. In a "Christian" environment, I would expect nothing less.
