With my nieces in town, I've been coming here quite a bit, as they are great fans of bubble tea. I must confess I am too, and Oasis Tea Zone is a good place to get your bubble tea fix. THE ROSES: Exciting, energetic atmosphere. Clientele is mostly young, mostly Asian, and very attractive. Good place to see and be seen. Very fast, efficient, and pleasant staff. A couple of pinball machines and a vintage video game (Galaga) give the place 'retro' appeal. Tasty bubble teas (taro is my favorite), and a reasonable selection of munchies. THE THORNS: Parking can be tough to get on busy evenings and weekends. Sketchy neighborhood (but OTZ does a great job keeping the riff-raff out). Kind of run down, but not dirty or gross. Can be very loud. Pinball machines usually don't work. THE VERDICT: Great place to soak in some genuine Seattle Chinatown vibe. Recommend. read more

The place was empty on my first visit so I was able to enjoy my tea without rush but suddenly it got packed. I had coconut milk ice tea with mini boba. It was delightfully light and flavorsome. The tapioca bubbles were nice and chewy and the milk tea was not too sweet which was good but I think it could have been stronger on the tea side. The popcorn chicken was freshly made and so good, very well seasoned. This store accross the street from Uwajimaya is excellent for a thirst quencher. Excellent selection of teas and pearls for your enjoyment. This is a very busy and popular place with the younger crowd so it can be very noisy. I killed about an hour or less there before catching my bus and was able to use the wifi and have some bubble tea while I waited my order. Will definitely come here again. My girl came after work and ordered a regular milk tea. We both proceeded to get into our car and drive home. We started drinking. A few sips into it, I hear a screech from my girlfriend. "I think I found... BUG in our drink!!! (It was dark outside so we couldn't see). Went home to get a better look at it and it appeared to be a cockroach of some sort. Of course we look for boba wherever we go. I'm not quite sure why but it's becoming a habit. We came here around 10:30pm last night and there was a line out the door! That's saying something right? We wanted the matcha milk tea and the green milk tea but they ran out of it so we had to opt for other flavors. Thai Tea - This was standard. I feel like you can't mess this up too bad. Jasmine Milk Tea - This was really good! Perfect amount of sweetness. We would come back for this. Spicy Popcorn Chicken - What made the chicken was their special hot sauce. It was almost like a sweet and spicy sauce but better. Ask for it when you get your chicken. Boba - Like my other reviews, we compare boba to tea station. This one made us go wait a minute! We were on our way to Jazen Tea across the street when we walked by Oasis and saw long lines, pictures of boba drinks on the window, and really neat wooden bar style seating. We decided to check out Oasis instead which turned out to be a great idea. The place was extremely popular, full of people of all ages and ethnicities. The staff was also very friendly. The line was to the door the entire time we were there, but the drinks were coming out within minutes. Even if you did have to wait a while, there were two television screens, plenty of seating, and multiple games (board games or video games) to keep you occupied. The menu was extensive and also broken down easily for boba beginners. Since we were coming from out of town, we wanted to try something that we don't have back at home. The only obvious one was the banana milk tea, which we love banana so it was perfect. The drink was flavored with real banana, not artificial flavoring, so it ended up being really good. Only downside there was a ton of ice, but I was pretty full anyway so I don't know if I would've been able to handle anything more. read more

I'm from Asian Central, so I'm used to an open tea/boba store at every corner. 4 stars for being the ONLY place open at 10:30 pm. The drinks don't compare to the boba drinks down in Socal, but it satisfied my craving. This place was so packed - probably because it was the only place open around the International District. Ordered an almond milk tea, honeydew milk tea, and a popcorn chicken/fries combo. Nothing special. Food and drinks came out in a timely manner. The guy behind the counter was screaming the numbers like he was at a football game or something. My rating is 100% reliant on their avocado smoothie. I've tried it at all the local boba spots, but Oasis does it best. On occasion, I've found pieces of avocado stem in my drink. Understandably, some people would hate that but, being the weird person that I am, I'm overly pleased that they use real avocados. I mean, stems just confirm that the smoothie is super fresh, right? Prices are great considering the size of the drinks. My milk tea was only 2.75 for something that would be considered a large almost everywhere else. Soy milk is an extra 30 cents, and boba is 50. When I first came here I ordered the barley milk tea, which I have had at other tapioca shops. What I got at Oasis actually had the barley grains in it so I was basically sucking up cereal through a straw. Did not enjoy this at all, but my second visit was a lot better. read more

Oasis you've been here for a long time and I see that you renovated but your new employees are never happy or friendly lol. I come here when I'm with friends since there are games and seats. You always make the right drink (royal milk tea with small boba and sometimes lychee jelly) so I give you props for that. Your fries are super salty like one of your employees. I said hi, asked how he was, said thank you, and goodbye, he didn't say a word and just glared so I didn't tip the jar. Great selection of options and one of the best bubble teas around! I've never walked away unsatisfied. When they opened years ago I was so excited for this hip, modern addition to the neighborhood. Sleek clean lines and fun use of wood and alternative finishes, great industrial decor. It hasn't aged all that well though. I still love what this place offers but it has certainly been very broken in since it's inception years back. It's kind of messy and in disarray most visits but I still love the product so I'll keep coming back. So my boyfriend has raved & raved about how good the BBT is here. Finally on Sunday after some Dim Sum I finally got to taste what all the fuss is about. I will say that IT IS the best BBT by far I've had. The taste is different but a good different. We both ordered 2 Taro Shakes with Tapioca. Yummy goodness! & they give you numbers when you order so there isn't any confusion with who's order it is they're calling out. OH! & it took them about 5 mins to make my order. I didn't even get a chance to sit down & talk to my bf when they called my number. FAST SERVICE on a Sunday is awesome! We didn't stay long to try the food. States above california must love drinking because just like canada their regular size is our large size. almond--on par with most almond drinks, almond like and sweet, chewy pearls barley--they ran out of black sesame and suggested this. my first time trying it. the barley gives your throat a good tickle. Great kick it spot when you just want to meet up for a drink to sit & talk or got done with dinner somewhere close by and like to stop by for dessert and hangout in the meantime until something else comes up that night. Oasis probably has the biggest selections in bubbletea that I've seen in Seattle, they have like every single flavor with every option that flavor could be made; slush, snow, milk tea style, etc. Most places just have the boba as an addition to your drink, but here they have lychee jelly, rainbow jelly, green apple jelly, and a bunch of other things I can't even remember. Food are alright, but drinks are awesome. I've come here at different times of the day, it is ALWAYS busy assuming because it receives great traffic being right next to the transit in Chinatown, but wait time is never long. Remember to mention about the stamp cards if they forget to hand one out to you, for a certain number of drinks that you purchase, you would get one free, such a great deal! This was overall good boba, a cool space, and quick service, but it wasn't anything special. I tried the chrysanthemum snow with regular boba and half sugar. It didn't have too much flavor, which is probably from the minimal sweetness. My friend had the chrysanthemum milk tea and really liked it. I think I liked Oasis Tea Zone the best on my recent visit to Seattle's International District. They have a huge variety of different flavors for your smoothies, milk tea and boba tea drinks. Some of the flavor varieties, at least to me seemed quite unusual and exotic. I got the Green Bean boba tea which met the unusual standard but was very tasty! It did indeed taste like green beans but was not off putting in such a way that I would not get it again. Boba tea is very rich and I had some trouble finishing my large drink but I would not hesitate at all at going back. The atmosphere is fun and the drinks tasty! read more

Yes, I do come here often. I have actually tried most of their hot milk tea drinks including red bean, chocolate, pudding, melon dew, and taro. Aside from the red bean and pudding, their milk tea is usually made from flavored powders that they have prepared. And on most cold and rainy days, a cup of hot milk tea is just what I need here in Seattle. I've also tried their watermelon juice drink. To be honest, sometimes I think they put too much ice. That makes me a little sad. But that's why I went back to hot drinks! They also have appetizers that they serve if you want. I've tried their crispy chicken and their calamari. I'm not entirely sure how I can get full by only eating half the portions they give us. BUT - it might have something to do with the excessive deep fried batter, who knows. Still a great snack though. The main reasons I go here for lunch on weekdays? First of all, they take plastic - much unlike Gossip on King St. Second, during my lunch hour, everyone is waiting for a table in some other restaurant in I-District and I am almost always crunched for time. People don't usually come in here for their meals...maybe dessert or a snack, but I can see why. Sometimes, I just want something this simple. I've been going to Oasis for years. Like YEARS. No other bbtea place in ID beats it in my opinion. There are a variety of ways that you can get in your bbtea fix, let it be milk tea (hot or iced), slush, snow, or pudding. And the best part is that it stays open late, which is totes awesome because that 4-colour pudding craving will just hit me out of nowhere sometimes (: As for the food, it's meh. I've only ever tried their waffle fries once and it was okay, nothing special. My roommates really like the popcorn chicken though! Just a word of advice: Oasis can get REALLY crowded at night, especially on the weekends. So if you're coming in during these peak hours (like around 8p or later), I'd recommend just ordering to-go because it can get really obnoxious and loud. read more
