Cute place but our waitress was extremely rude! It was a bit past 11am and we were given breakfast menus. I asked if we could order lunch. Her "reply" was to glare at me and say "I doubt it but I'll check". She came back and slammed 3 lunch menus onto the table. Her attitude continued the entire time. She made us feel very uncomfortable. My daughter ordered a "chicken club" - the bread was totally soggy from the wet chicken breast that was in the sandwich- not club - everywhere else a club has 3 pieces of bread. We didn't send it back because, honestly, we were afraid of what might happen because of her attitude. The waitress saw that she hadn't eaten it but didn't bother asking if something was wrong. We were a table of 5. Chorizo was good. Peanut butter banana pancakes were good. Biscuits were hard, gravy was meh. Grits came out room temp/Luke warm so butter wouldn't melt at all. Even with cheese, a ton of salt and pepper-couldn't make them taste good. The server never once came back to check on us and we needed drinks and another side. Good breakfast! During the warmer months it get tougher to get a table for groups but it's always just two of us and we have no issues, they can always find a place for you. The breakfast is pretty basic but it's always enjoyable. The service is always good, friendly and prompt. I love omelettes, so that's usually what I get! It always comes out hot and in a reasonable amount of time. It's was better then eating at the Starbucks bistro at the hotel and very convenient for us to walk but it's worth a mention that the parking lot is not very big and I would walk if possibly. Came on a Thursday night when there is literally 5 people eating here. They are out of pretty much everything including the signature sauce because "someone forgot to make it." I placed an order to go online. When I arrived to pick it up with my two small kids I asked whether we would be able to eat the food in the restaurant if there was room. The waitress told me to find my own table as she walked away. There were two other active tables at that time. I sat and waited and soon realized I was not getting any service so I went back to the counter to pick up the containers. She never made eye contact with me the entire time, nor spoke any words to me. Having worked in food service in the past, I cannot for the life of me understand why it was so offensive of me to ask to eat inside the restaurant, especially considering how empty it was. Goodness me! Is it Obi's, or obese? Burgers are massive, but you're not going to want to share. With anyone. Not even your beloved grandmother. I haven't had a burger in a while that made me want to hug myself -- as a thanks for stopping in, and also to cradle my filled to capacity belly. During our visit there was a little bit of construction going for at least one new hotel. Most everything else's housing. Perfect too. I wouldn't mind waking up from a nap in my rental and taking a stroll down to Obi's before heading back to the beach. *sigh* I live in the desert. I love the decore. I was obsessed with cars growing up and loved learning about vehicles. Went to car shows and everything. The restaurant theme is certainly directed at car aficionados, in the traditional sense. You can tell from the menu items, which give a nod to heavy-metal muscle cars of the past. Remember the massive Lincoln Continental? The one that looked like it would be driven by a guy named Tito wearing a full on white suit (with thigh hugging bellbottoms), pointed leather boots, brass knuckles and a pinky ring? I wouldn't be surprised if the owner has one. Anyway, we went with the Mustang and the Corvette. How fitting. I added Swiss cheese to mine. And we decided to share a side of brisket. Yes, they also offer brisket on the menu. It is soft and delicious. They also have pork belly! It's not just burgers, for sure. They also sell sandwiches and sausages. You can even get chorizo. Came here on a weekday on our way to St. Augustine beach early in the morning. The staff here is tentative, friendly, and you're in and out of here relatively quickly. I decided to get one of the specials on the menu which was the country eggs Benedict with a side of cheese grits. I was really looking forward to the egg yolk running on the english muffin and sausage. I was a little disappointed cutting into the egg and it being over cooked without any runny yolk. In addition, my cheese grits were room temperature and the cheese sprinkled on top did not melt into the grits. My husband and I came in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Very unique place close to the beach. The atmosphere was fun and there was a lot to look at! Everything was car themed or related. We were one of only a few other people in there. There were only two servers. Our server wasn't as friendly as the other was. My husband had the Corvette burger with fries which was cooked just right. I had the DeSoto which was very good! We shared the dipsticks with NOS. The chili was good but I was very surprised to see two slices of cheese melted on top. That was disappointing. We live close so we might come back but will try something new! read more

We came in for breakfast. The menu was tiny. They have like 8 items. I ordered the eggs and chorizo wrap. It came out and was not good, and the home fries were 25% "real" home fries and 75% cut up French fries. The breakfast wrap had a chemical taste to it, so my girlfriend shared her pancake with me. The table also wasn't wiped down well with food crumbs and glass rings from previous customers. The entire staff was not wearing masks. They were friendly enough, but weren't following state requirements. I wanted to like it, but sadly, we won't be back. Sorry. :( read more

We have been coming here for years. The food is always good. However, today, I had the most bizarre experience. I received the wrong sauce, but it was fine. I didn't complain about it. I don't complain about food, ever. I was fine to do without. We were eating when one of the cooks came out, sarcastically asked us if everything was OK and if we got our sauce. We told him everything was great. He said we made the server cry. We were flabbergasted to say the least. My husband went in the back to ask what was going on. He was told that we told the server we were timing her. Servers have no control over when food comes out, I would never expect them to, nor did we ever make any such statement. We are big proponents of servers and always tip 30% or more. Maybe she was having a bad day. I felt that she was overwhelmed even before she brought the wrong sauce. Friendly service and some unusual appetizers on the menu. We tried the fried creamed corn balls and they were served hot and yummy. The potato balls had bacon and cheese in them. Don't go to this place! The customer service is horrible! I went this morning at 10:40 am and asked the server if they were still serving breakfast and the server walked to the computer looked at the time and replied, "I guess" and proceed to walk with an attitude to the seating area grabbed a menu and as she was walking away I started saying "excuse me, excuse me, excuse me miss!" And she completely ignored me! At this time a guy came out of the kitchen and asked me if he could help me and I told him I needed to tell her that it was not only me that it was me, my wife and daughter. He went and told the server and she got even more annoyed and said ok and she came back into the menu area grabbed two more menu and threw it with an attitude on the table she was sitting us. I went and got my wife and daughter at the car and as we walk into the seating area she pointed at a table and said "sit there" with an attitude! My wife asked me why she had an attitude and I told my wife maybe she's having a bad day! As we seated and look at the menu the server was in the table next to us picking stuff and making the table and she was throwing everything at the basket with anger and putting the utensils with attitude on top of the other table. At that point my wife told me "let's go because I don't want to have someone with an attitude mess up my breakfast and day" as we were walking out the server told us with a smirk attitude "but you can stay and have your breakfast"...... This is completely unacceptable to treat customers this way! It disappointing because this place came highly recommended to us and to be honest it's the only bad experience we have encountered on our vacation trip!
