Awesome spot, Great service, chill eating area. I was at the beach & got hungry. I walked down with a friend and grabbed a turkey wrap with pita bread. O-M-G it was D-I-V-I-N-E !!!!! So, yummy! All dishes were served with a side of chips and an interesting yet delicious dip: tasted avocado/vinegar ish... whatever it was I poured it over my wrap and it was GRRR-EAT ! Stopped in for a quick lunch after a wedding party and this quite literally cured our hangovers. I ordered the pita tosh since it was the local favorite and I was not disappointed. The pita was a warm pillow, served with avocado, hummus and veggies and their delicious house dressing. Absolutely phenomenal. My boyfriend thought his paddy melt was super fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommend for numerous vegetarian/vegan options and reasonable price! My husband and I had the "jack the ripper" and "green-rito" burritos. They were delicious, consisted of super fresh ingredients and came with tortilla chips. Service is great and didn't have to wait very long at all. The only reason I gave 4 rather than 5 stars is the chips were somewhat stale. Be sure you get a sauce of some sort for your burrito, such as goddess, guacamole etc otherwise it will be quite dry. We are staying right across the street while on vacation so we will definitely be back this week. read more

Fantastic little beachside spot mere minutes walk from St. Auggie Shore. We were a bit surprised at how busy it was at 3pm on a Sunday, but the weather was gorgeous so I guess I shouldn't have been! I had the Pita Tosh which was probably one of my favorite sandwiches ever. Toasted to perfection and just the right amount of veggies and turkey. This is a cool,little old surf-shack restaurant that has been around since 1996. It's at the top of a beach-access road. It is very busy usually, but has limited parking that is tricky to access. Very beachy / surfer vibe. Seats outside at tables or railing on an old wooden deck. Cheap plastic utensils. It has a limited menu of burritos,wraps,smoothies. The fare is mostly vegetarian, but you can add chicken. The food is really fresh! Fresh greens, fresh veggies. Ample portions and tasty. Seats and railing outside were pretty dirty. Every condiment on the table was crusted with old dried drips. Pretty clear they hadn't been wiped down in a long time. I eat everything, but I wouldn't touch the hot sauces,etc. Just nasty. read more

I added the turkey which tasted fresh and was not your typical lunch meat, much better quality. The Avocado toast was delish. But the wraps in GF tortillas were meh. The GF option is a $5 to $7 extra. Add a cup of guacamole for $5. Man, not at all worth the price tag. But since we stayed so close to the beach we tried these for breakfast. The avocado toast had 4 pieces, apple slices and some pieces of bananas. My husband grew up in St.Augustine and he needed to go here before we left and he claims this place is as good as when he was a little boy. He loves this place so I went along and let me tell you it was so good. They had plenty parking but it said 30 min max, we parked and I stayed in the car while he ordered we ate in the car due to Covid but they had plenty available seating outside and my husband said they had openings inside. I was unsure of coming here since it didn't seem like anything amazing but boy was I wrong. My turkey sandwich pita was so delicious, perhaps the BEST turkey sandwich I have ever had... and I have had many. It tasted fresh and the turkey tasted like it was actually oven roasted right there.. probably wasn't but man, it was all so fresh and the ingredients went perfectly together. The sandwich came with tortilla chips and a home made sauce that was really good, I don't know the name but delicious. I used it for the chips and some on the sandwich. My husband kept raving about his veggie wrap and the sauce he said it was magical.. so he used the sauce on his wrap. A day later he was dreaming about the wrap and now I wish I had tasted his. Established in 1996.

Stir It Up has been in business since approx Nov 2000. Rachel, the original owner, had a clear vision of what she wanted for her small take out, with outside seating. Im Cynthia, the 4th owner at Stir It Up. We have kept 99% of the original items Rachel created, and added a few more with some spice! More seating and hammock chairs as well and soon to come-merchandise with our logo! We even have homemade Gluten free bread now and GF wraps and brownies. Hope to see YOU on the porch!

Owned and operated by a WOMAN-with an amazing crew! I purchased Stir It Up in Oct of 2016, and plan to continue the vision of the original owner, Rachel, by providing fresh, healthy, delicious food to our loyal locals and the many tourists and snow birds who are our guests. Additional seating and menu items have been added to keep up with our many customers who love our vibe, our food, and our friendly staff! We now serve breakfast everyday 9am to noon, and lunch all day 9am to 6pm. We make homemade gluten free bread and have GF wraps & GF desserts also available. Unfortunately the wedding cake was so disappointing it was pre-sliced and wrapped in the case, it was very cold and heavy, the filling was very thin but made the layers soggy like it had been made a few days earlier and sat and it had very little icing - this was so disappointing especially after going out of our way to get here and fighting the St. Augustine traffic. I'd like to try something from their sandwich menu and maybe a loaf of their fresh baked bread but definitely will avoid anything out of the dessert case...
