This is a bit like a more high end consignment store instead of a goodwill. Just think "fancy goodwill." Their household items are a little more limited than regular goodwill, and they tend to have the same sort of selection as regular goodwill. The reason to go here is for more recent and high quality clothing. They have quite a large selection and there is plenty of space- you won't feel like you're trapped scrounging through racks stacked on top of other people. Great finds here! read more

Its clean and organized! The only thing that was kind of annoying are the employee's restocking or putting stuff back. They don't care if you're looking in a certain area, they move clothes to make room for other clothes - makes you feel like you're in their way. Kind of rude. read more

On first glance this definitely does not look like your typical Goodwill store. Once you walk in it looks pretty cool. The lighting makes it a little hard to see but it's not too terribly dark so it's okay. My friend Cyndi and I spent over an hour searching through racks and trying things on. It's kind of a pain to find someone to open the dressing rooms when they are busy and the staff seemed a little irritated by being bothered but it's a goodwill store so I can't be too mad. Surprisingly they have a ton of name brand things Lucky jeans, Seven for all Mankind jeans, Rock and Republic as well. Their prices are great too! I will be goimg back for sure!!! read more

I have recently started thrifting and this happens to be the best place to start if you are just getting into it. It has more of that boutique feel rather then the other types of goodwill stores. The prices are only a couple dollars more on regular items so I find it to be a better deal. I tried on 10 items and bought three. I am not sure how they choose what items go to the boutique rather than the main stores since I still found stains and holes on some of the items. However, the quality and brand labels are still better overall. The non-clothing items are mostly brand-new in packaging or only slightly used. read more

I came here to shop for cheap work clothes and came out very happy! Found two dresses and two pairs of slacks, and only paid $60 in total. The items were very good quality, and my mom was shocked to find out that they were second hand. You do have to dig a bit for really nice items, so if you don't want to spend time searching don't come here. But if you don't mind looking around and have time on your hands, you can find some pretty decent stuff here :) read more

Discovered this gem when donating a bunch of formal gowns & work suits I retired. Did not realize it's a boutique. Needed long skirts for a formal organization I joined & figured I'd give it a try. I found 8 beautiful skirts for $76! Some even designer. read more

Over priced Target brand items. Workers in the back will hold items for their family and friends, even managers in the back do this. Too many items are over priced, no thanks. This store and the company policy is a disgrace to non-profit organizations. If you shop at Goodwill stores , you know that they have different color markers on their price tags. And they have select days that each color is 50%off. I started noticing that it was difficult to find the discounted color and in the past two times shopping there (including today) there was not an orange tag (today's discounted color)to be found unless they missed one or two. I asked the store manager and she said it was corporate policy to start removing all of that color tag days before they change colors so that the day before they change the 50% off color Is completely off the racks/shelves. To me this is shady, shoddy, deceptive, and unethical business tactics. And yes... with other reviews, they mark up salvaged products from Target above the Target sale price blatantly! People shop there for a reason and it isn't to be ripped off by another big business!!!! Do not support this behavior!! read more

Came in here on a whim with some friends after brunch, and found quite a few cool items! Though some pieces werent worth some prices, (beat up wall decal for $15? No thanks) , what we did end up buying were definite steals. Ill probably come back here if I were within the area, but I wouldnt go out of my way just to come. Anyways, found some really cool Star Wars sheets and a 'Never-Ending Story' shirt that makes my heart jump every time, so who knows. Lol happy thrifting! read more

Just tried to donate some things here but got told that I had to go around to the back, to the other side of the strip mall to donate. I just spent 20 min trying to park in this crowded lot, brought my bags in, and now I have to go back out, move my car and take everything to a different lot, when I'm standing right there at the front with bags to donate?? They wouldn't give me a receipt unless I went to the other side of the shopping center. Look, I'm trying to donate to you. Why make it harder to do that? It would have taken less time for you to just take the bags instead of taking my time trying to explain where to repark my car. Nevermind. Easier to just throw the stuff in the trash. read more

Pros: 1)Can get some good bargains if you go and find the color of the week(half off) or go during a holiday weekend when they often have toys, kids' clothes, and pink tag clothing (usually new items) half off. 2) I have found great hidden deals (like a vintage painting for $5.99 that is worth hundreds of that). Sometimes you can get new Target items here for a steal too. 3) Cool "boutique" decor and dressing rooms,public bathrooms. 4) Most of the staff here are really nice. Cons: 1) Whomever is pricing is not at all being reasonable or doesn't know what they are doing. You see brands you can get at Ross or Marshalls (or Target) brand new for the same price as old, worn and outdated (out of style) pieces here. They have a horrible habit of way overpricing "designer" clothing without considering that despite the name, there are flaws, stains, holes, wear, etc. that bring down the value. 2) My BIGGEST problem with this place...they buy out Target clearance items and try to resell them for five times or more of what they were going for in clearance at Target stores. They also will resell opened cosmetic returns form Target that were less new(and unopened), such as ELF brand.Non-profit company trying to make a huge profit from upmarking goods? 3)The quality overall with the clothing they have now has gone way down since the first year or so they were open. They seem to be getting either lessor lower quality/defective clothing in their donations, or their sorters do not know what to pick for a "boutique" location. 4) The bathrooms are often dirty/gross. 5) It takes FOREVER to get someone to open an unoccupied dressing room for you (I had to go up to the registers three times once , and despite them calling someone on the intercom twice, no one came). 6) Some people are just plain inconsiderate and clueless. I have had my cart(and /or the items in it) taken at least three times when going to the restroom or using the dressing room. Kids wander around unsupervised and pull things off shelves or are hiding under the racks or I have even seen lost kids crying and calling for their parents and no one is to be seen (had to go up to the cashiers and have them call on intercom twice...once for a tiny girl who was crying loud for her mom and kept going up by the front door looking for her for at least 15 minutes, where literally anyone could snatch her). Turns out her mom was mindlessly looking through a rack of clothes and didn't even notice. 7) The lighting is awful in the front of the store along the clothing racks. It is really hard to see with the way it is shadowing. You have to move to another part of the store with the item in order to see it clearly (like where there is natural light at front windows). They have ongoing roof leaking issues that never seem to get resolved (I have had drops on my head, clothes, have almost slipped(had to tell them to have someone clean up so no one got hurt), etc read more

Goodwill Boutique and Goodwill regular stores smell really bad. They spray something that is foul smelling on the clothes. I bought couple pieces clothing at this boutique thinking I could wash it out but the smell never came out and I had to discard clothes in trash. The smell of the store is so strong it radiates outside the store before you even walk in. It's heavy chemical and cannot be healthy. I decided to go to Google to search for ways to remove the Goodwill smell out of clothes. Nothing works. Better to go to consignment stores or other thrift stores where they don't put chemicals all over everything. Final comment is that the prices are very high. Even Target labelled items were 12 dollars and higher. read more

This is the best thrift store I've ever been to, and I'm big on thrift stores. The quality of their inventory is amazing. I was shopping housewares for antique silver and gold trays for wedding decorations, and I found several amazing pieces. Can't wait to have an excuse to go back for more! read more

Place is a fraud rip-off. A friend recommended I try there for a replacement microwave for one of my apartments. Sure enough they had a nice deal on a "resealed" micorwave that looked brand new. Good brand. So I buy and I ask as I am buying what if it doesnt work and she says I can bring it back no questions within 7 days. She speculated it may have been returned because it was too big or too small maybe. An hour later I found out why it was returned, because it doesnt work. So somebody, somewhere takes an item known to be faulty and it winds up for sale at Goodwill OC Boutique. So the next morning I return it and the manager says "store credit" only no refunds. I told him I was told differently the night before but he insisted that a sign in the store shows the policy and it is on the back of the receipt. Both of which you dont discover until AFTER you've made your purchase as the sign is placed in a way that you dont see it until you are leaving the store . Pretty shady I thought. So I left (with my store credit) - later in the day I decided to go back and spend my "credit" I went out of my way to go there in the first place and I didnt see returning anytime soon. When I went back BAM!!! My defective micro-wave was back on the shelf for sale again. To the next idiot that buys it and the next day finds out they are keeping his cash. Dont know if this is fraud or conversion............but I'll bet it's close. read more

This is an all around NICE store!! I Iots of housewares type stuff. New and old. Next time I'll check out the clothes. It looked like you could find some excellent pieces here. I've been here a couple times yet every time I leave empty handed. While they do have a pretty large collection of clothes, it's really hard to find cute things because not a lot of the stuff is really in style or something I would want to wear. It's more for older audiences. The prices aren't very cheap either, so it's not the best option if you're looking for a good deal. Okay, so i rode my bicycle to the OC Boutique today. I had 10 dollars in my pocket. I figured "How expensive could a goodwill store be?" Wrong. I looked around for about 30 min, picked out a shirt i liked, and went to the cashier to ring it up. She scanned the shirt and told me the total "12.27 is your total" I said okay, no problem and asked the manager who was next to the cashier to hold it for me behind the counter while i rode home and grabbed two dollars. I came back with the money. The shirt was not where he said he would hold it. Manager was called upfront. He was kind of like "Sorry bro, don't know what happened. If you want you can look for it" I asked him if he could look in the back where it could potentially be, he said sure. In the meantime, I walked around the front racks near the counter looking for the shirt, and i look up at the cash register and there is the manager, chatting with the cashier about how they cant wait to get off work. About an hour and a half, and 2 miles of my day wasted. Won't be returning. read more

This thrift store is perfect if you're in the market for something nicer like a dress for an event or what have you. The prices are sometimes more expensive than other Goodwills only because this is where they send the higher quality items. It's a nice break from having to sift through piles of junky or stained clothes, especially if you don't have the energy that day. I think everything is appropriately priced, and I've rarely found any prices that has shocked me. read more

I love every goodwill I go to, I've been here a few times and never had any issues until today, it was 8:50 they close at 9 I had one item I was going to purchase and was ready to head out and pay and one of the ladies rudely said that the cash registers were closed and I thought they closed at 9 not 8:50 at least that's what it said at the door and Yelp. Her response was that they close the fitting rooms and restrooms 10 minutes early totally irreverent from me trying to purchase my one pair of pants again 10 minutes before closing. I said okay, it wouldn't of been a problem if I was the only customer there, but there was more then 5 people in the store with a lot more on hand and still shopping after 9, than the one pair of pants I was ready to purchase. And I've worked in retail and know the frustration of wanting to go home, but as a customer I respect the hours and was going to be out of there before they closed. Next time don't kick your customer out before closing time, and I wonder why it was just me when there was a lot more people in the store shopping as well (and still in there as I write this) Thanks for the great customer service!
