A great second-hand boutique. This place offers the best selections of the OC Goodwill pickings but you still have to inspect each piece. I got two unused items - a knit jacket with a Macys tag and a Calvin Klein belted dress. I just loved this store. I'm looking for some good deals and bargains but don't want to sort through a lot of junk. The clothes are sorted by type (jeans, pants, tees, sweaters, blouses) and then by color. Since they are going for the boutique vibe, there are a few spots where the lighting is a little dim. I was able to find some really good deals. I found a pair of Levi's brand new with tags, some cute blouses and an old fashioned pencil sharpener that my kids had been asking for. You do still need to do your due diligence and check the items out for stains or flaws. They have dressing rooms that are very large and definitely didn't feel like a thrift store. I had no problem finding the location but I was using my GPS. It is in an older strip center but it is clean and well kept. This is a Goodwill after all so you can't expect it to be in a ritzy place. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back to this store. read more

Good, but not great. It is a thrift store, so what can you expect, really? I loved the atmosphere inside. Very modern design, with interesting displays set up. Overall, the quality of the items in the store is better than most Goodwill locations, so they have that going for them. It was a nice change from the barren environment of most of their stores! The biggest problem is pricing; many items are overpriced. Find a designer label on a jacket or a shirt, and the price gets hiked up! $299 for a Macy's suit by Armani. Sure, cheaper than new, but at a different location, would likely have been considerably cheaper. Housewares were hit and miss. There are certainly are some good deals to be had, but the store is definitely inconsistent in pricing. Much of the leftover stock from regular retail stores (Target, etc.) is about the same price as other Goodwill locations. Some of the other items were definitely off, especially glassware, which averaged about twice as much as other locations, without much difference in quality. read more

0 stars. Thought I'd try this place again but NO it hasn't changed Things are priced almost near original price tagged items. Bric a brac items and the boxes have been taped up and disheveled. I found a cute little whiskey barrel thought ok $5 nope $10!!!!! And the original price is $19.99 How do they make any money here? Found a rug. Very large. Threshold target like but had no tags. I'm thinking ok $35...it was $80!!!!!!! You can find cheaper if not free on Craigslist!!!! This place needs to go out of business or just turn into a regular goodwill. Not call themselves boutique. I love shopping here. I can afford to buy at regular retail price, but I'd rather spend money here, than to buy brand new clothing. I have bought so many brand new articles of clothing here. I even came across a brand new ski Oakley ski jacket for $12 (retail price was $300). I've also bought brand new, with the tags, Victoria secret leggings. True, some stuff is junk, but if you don't like it, then don't buy it. I've actually managed to get broken items for a much cheaper price by just asking. Also, I've managed to snag a few items that are worth a lot more on eBay. For example, I came across a peanuts gang vintage lunch box that's worth $500. The staff are friendly and I always see them picking up fallen items and organizing the racks. This is a Goodwill, so my expectations were not at all high. However, after shopping here for a while, I can say that this is one of my favorite stores. It's always a scavenger hunt here. I encourage people to check it out. 0 stars if I could... came to this "boutique" in a hurry and asked the front if they did accept Apple Pay since I didn't want to waste my time if they didn't.. not surprisingly at all they weren't even well informed. They told me that they could try so I went ahead to shop and found a very pretty item. When I went to the register they said they didn't accept Apple Pay so I asked them if they could please hold the item till the next day since I couldn't come back the same day. (At this point the manager came) They told me that they could only hold it for 30min...what kinda of policy is that..?! 30 minutes is ridiculous! I went ahead and asked them if they could make an exception since they did tell me maybe for Apple Pay and I had just wasted my time there. They still refused and said that they could leave a note but that they couldn't do anything if someone else grabbed the item. I guess they can't even be held accountable for a single item.. so there is 0 customer service. They don't appreciate their customers or the dollars they want to spend there. I get that it's a thrift store but it is also still a business with customers so I would at least expect common customer curtesy. Clearly they don't appreciate their customer's time. I will go back to see if maybe they did hold my item but other than that, by the way I was treated and by the other reviews I hope this Boutique is shut down... also the prices, you can probably get about the same priced items (brand new!) at Marshall's.. having the word boutique in your business name does not automatically make your store boutique quality to have such prices. read more

I was close by getting some eats so popped in. They had a lot of good business attire for men, but OMG the prices are out of control. Used suits where priced MORE than the clearance rack at Robinson's and most other stores. They are ok brands and good quality, but it's not a Brioni or Kiton so the prices shouldn't be that high. It's no wonder all the racks are full because I can't see anyone paying that much for a used suit that they didn't pay anything for. read more

Nice place to shop - however, Goodwill has increased their prices so much. and, they pack the clothes in so tight into the racks, you can't even look at anything - So, I mostly look at the housewares and shoes. The clothes look very nice but you can't see anything without pulling to get them off the rack and shoving them back in when your done looking at something. I will never ever come here ever again! Service is horrible. I literally had to chase an employee down to ask her a quick question. She saw me coming and kept on walking. I almost thought she didn't work there! She was very unpleasant with no smiles. I simply wanted to know if they carried ugly Xmas sweaters there. She pointed to another staff and told me to ask her. The staff pointed to the front of the store and said "it should be over there" like really?! You work here but don't know where anything is at. They are so lazy. WHO HIRED these people??!! So rude. this place just sucks... everything is overpriced!! i went in and found a blow dryer ticketed 3.99. so After waiting in line to go to the front excited to pay, she says "it will be 12.00." I say how if the ticket price is $3.99?? she says "oh we write the correct price in roman numerals with sharpie." now. under the box, there was a ticket saying that the item was salvage. Not only that, I can go to target and get a BRAND NEW BLOW DRYER FOR NEAR THAT PRICE!! not to blame the cashier completely im sure its store policy, but she should have honored the price. Don't bother trying to donate furniture here. I just had a worker turn away 4 hand built solid hardwood dining chairs because they had "nicks" in them. No doubt they could use a fresh coat of stain, but this new "policy" by Goodwill - as he explained it to me requires any furniture donations to be "in near perfect condition," sure seems short sighted. I'll find some other charity to donate to from now on. Too bad. read more

First time there. Bought a pair of Levis with same tag as husbands. Style, waist and length. They were 4-5 inches shorter. Can't return!! Kinda dark in store so missed a crack in a bowl.Really checked it out in store and didn't see it. Some prices are high and most of the stuff looks like it belongs in their regular stores. They play a game where you get 50% off certain color tags. I would call first next time and ask what color. I would not go back. read more

First Goodwill I've ever been to that calls itself a boutique. It's secondhand stuff with boutique prices. I really liked how it looked except they keep it so dark that it's hard to see the clothes. I thought the clothing was disorganized. No sizes apparent. Maybe I'm lazy but I HATE going through every single piece hanging there to find my size! I did get a purse that was $12.00. But that was it. Everything is just so overpriced. I like the one in Costa Mesa better. It's next to Zubies and have great stuff for way better prices. read more

They have women's AND Men's clothing here FYI. Clothing is organized by color, which takes more time for customers to look through, but less time for the staff to keep organized. This is possibly part of a strategy, but not my favorite way to shop. Costumes seem a little mixed in right now since close to Halloween. Saw no rack for go-backs, but maybe the rack in another part of the store was for that stuff, not sure. Also thought it was a bummer employees aren't allowed to purchase things there. This may be a general Goodwill policy or apply only to this store, not sure, but thought that was a shame. If I am looking for clothes & ok with a step-below consignment this is perfect. It also eliminates the need for me to ever look @ the regular Goodwills for clothing. I'll be back maybe in a year or so when I have a couple hours to kill. As far as Goodwill shopping goes, it was a pretty good experience. I spent almost $70 & got lots of good things. Reasonable prices like all Goodwills I thought. read more

This place is fairly organized and clean... come here if you want Target clearance items. Many of their items are new Target clothes and household goods. I got two new Who What Wear skirts for about $6 each. But if you want actual thrifted, used items, this might not be the place to go. Household area was pretty limited. read more

I love this location!! It's slightly messy, but a little more clean than other places. If you dig long enough, you'd score some really good deals!! I found some tops and jeans BRAND NEW for under 5$ each. Other than that, they have items from barely worn to really worn out. I saw a really good deal on a TV stand. It was clearly marked. The workers there would not honor me the price saying that's too cheap, that can't be the price. I overheard them talking to each other trying to make up a higher price to sell to me. The manager said someone might of just put the wrong price sticker on there. If the workers did that, isn't it their fault to deal with? Or if a sneaky customer went through all that trouble to put a cheaper price, wouldn't they want to buy it? Doesn't make sense. This place is amazing! I was once a Target clearance section shopper until I discovered this gem! The clothes are CLEAN, not smelly. In many cases, it is hard to tell if they are used at all. The store is organized amazingly well so I can easily find dresses, jeans, or whatever I'm looking for. My hubby also likes their suit coat section. What's cool too is they separate the more name-brand items. However, still be sure to check the whole store because I often find brands like Nine West and White House Black Market hidden in obscure places. :) Just beware, as great as this place is for clothes, it may not always be great for appliances. Be careful to not buy any products marked with a tiny 'as is' sticker as they will likely be missing parts or not in working order. (I know from experience). :) read more

I LOVE this Goodwill over all the other Goodwill's in Orange County, but the reason for my 2 out of 5 star review is due to employees with bad attitudes (which is something I CANNOT STAND when I go shopping somewhere. I NEVER treat a customer rudely at my work just because I am having a bad day... EVER!). Anyways, today's color at this Goodwill store was Orange (for those of you who are unfamiliar with the Goodwill "Color of the week" situation, let me fill you in really quickly... each item in the Goodwill stores has a price tag on it... each price tag is a certain color... each week they choose a different "Color of the Week"... whatever color is chosen that week means that all items in the store with that certain color price tag are 50% off). Now I took my items to the front and some were not marked, so I asked her how much they were. She was obviously not happy that I asked her to do her job because she started huffing and puffing throwing the items down one by one after telling me how much they each were. Lol. But whatever. Then there was a .99¢ Orange Sticker on a kids paperback novel (The Magic Treehouse book #16), but she rang it up without even flipping it over to see that it was labeled with an orange sticker (remember that Orange is this weeks color). So I thought to myself, there's NO WAY that she memorized everything in the store with an orange sticker, so I decided to point it out to her. She then quickly picked it up and started peeling the sticker off and said, "We don't put stickers on our books." And normally I would have to strongly disagree and ask for a manager, but unfortunately today I was in a bit of a hurry. So since it was only .50¢ to a dollar more than what it would have been, I didn't really argue. But on top of that being just wrong, it's also illegal and she HAS to give it to me at the marked price. It's not MY fault that one of their workers mis-marked it. I also pointed out to her that there were some other books (that I decided NOT to purchase) that were marked with an Orange Price tag too. Whatever her excuse was, I didn't have time to listen... I just left. I understand that this store isn't in the best of locations and that they probably have a lot of stealing and tag-switching, etc. but they need to make sure that their employees know that it's ILLEGAL to charge people more than what an item is marked. Anyway, other than her horrible attitude, I DO like this Goodwill a lot. They have super nice (and clean) shoes and clothes (very expensive brands of jeans), they have a lot of books and they get a lot of donations from Target (so does the Santa Ana Goodwill on Bristol). You can tell that Target donated to them because of two reasons. ONE: they have a lot of the same exact item and TWO: they still have the Target Clearance Tags on them. It's a LITTLE irritating because sometimes I really like something that is donated from Target and it's $4.99 at Goodwill now and I can still see the old Target clearance sticker on it that says $2.50. Lol. Knowing that Target just had this item on clearance for half the price that Goodwill is trying to sell it to me for right now is irritating. read more

In search of a computer desk, this place is neat but over priced for a second hand store!

Been wanting to check out this place since they've open and had an opportunity today since my dentist is nearby. To get there you have to drive a bit in the plaza to see the store. The decor is nicer than your average Goodwill. The place seem pretty organized for Goodwill. Things are organized by colors. Though I do wish they would then break it down by sizes. There are 3 changing rooms (6 items max). The selection is just ok but then again inventory will be constantly changing and of course the proceeds goes to a good cause. FYI they don't take Amex. Next on my list to check out OC Goodwill's newest store Rare. read more

This isn't your typical GoodWill Store. It's much more modern and geared for younger people. And the quality of its clothes is a lot better. They have a ton of old vinyl records in the front too, which is a bonus. The staff is super nice, and every week they have stuff that's an extra 50% off. You can easily go in here and spend two hours digging through stuff. The best part is every time yo go in you don't know what you're going to find. It's a great addition to Tustin. read more

It's alright. They don't accept donations which is a bit of a bummer. They do have a pretty good set up so it's easy to check out all the stuff they have to offer, and nothing seems hidden. It kind of loses the appeal of goodwill, because some of the stuff is brand new. Also the lighting is not the best. In the shoe section in particular it's hard to see things. I think maybe I was looking for more of a deal because I think a higher price comes along with the 'boutique' name as well. read more

DO NOT come here for anything electrical. They tell you you will be able to return it within 7 days if it doesn't work. I tried to return outdoor lights and only got store credit. Complained bc the associate didn't tell me. It's a thrift store so I get it but it is still very annoying. I spent a lot of money here at one time (preschool supplies)... Since they wouldn't accommodate for their mistake I can't say I would come back. It's over priced bc it's a "boutique" anyways. read more
