Normally I would never go to a kiosk type place in the mall to have my watch serviced, but all I needed was a couple of links taken out of a new watch. Hosseim was fantastic! While he was taking out the links in my watch I saw one in the case that I really liked. Tried it on and knew it was the better choice than the one I brought it to have shortened. Hosseim included the size adjustment in the cost of the new watch and did not charge me for taking out and then putting back in the links on the watch I brought in to him. My mom and I came to the Brea Mall Friday night to do some shopping and we found ourselves at Time After Time on our way out. My mom carries around a watch in her purse that needed a new wristband. It was a gift from her sister-in-law, and she misses wearing watches so I suggested she ask the guy about replacing it. For all you Yelpers that love to eat (and I'm sure 99% of you all do), an average person who reaches the age of 70 would have spent about 7 years eating in his or her lifetime. So that doesn't give us much time now, does it? I'm always on a schedule and constantly check the time. That means having a good selection of watches to help me. I'm noticing these days that my watches are out of battery so I need a place where I can get my watches fixed pronto. Nothing like the good old Brea Mall to have a booth located right next to the Food Court, where I can go for repairs during my lunch hour. The two guys behind the counter tell me that it'll take about 10 minutes of my time to replace the battery, which to them is about $15 of my money. I have yet to find any other location where it costs cheaper than what they charge for replacing batteries. Also, I had a small issue with the sweep seconds hand on one of my watches and they advised that I don't repair the watch instead of them trying to fix it for a fortune. This shows they're honest and won't waste your "Time" - Boy George & the Culture Club. Their booth is not that big so don't expect a large selection of watches if you're looking for one. They also don't sell any clocks either. I'm sure you can get better deals with these items elsewhere or on the internet. NOTE, if you need to size your watch, go visit any department store (ie. We were in the Brea Mall and spoke with George and told him the situation. He took a quick look at my mom's Omega and said that it is most likely the battery. He took it apart and confirmed that it just needed a battery replacement. He was so honest and FAST that my family and I were so truly amazed at his service! Worst customer service I've ever seen. It clearly states on the receipt, "Exchange only or store credit". They changed the battery in my watch, and it still didn't work. It was only $11, so I would have been okay with returning the battery for store credit to buy a new watch. They refused. I would have been alright, again, had the man been polite. Had he said something along the lines of "Sorry, it's store policy" or "I'm sorry the wording wasn't clear on the receipt", then I wouldn't be writing this. Instead, the man yelled and yelled, getting more and more belligerent. When I asked him to explain why I couldn't get store credit as it says on the receipt, he just kept yelling "All sales final!" repeatedly. When I asked why he was getting so angry, he responded, "Sue me! Just sue me!". Basically, he would prefer to yell over a price inconsequential enough to be sued over, rather than honor the words printed on the receipt. All over $11 of store credit. Keep in mind, the minimum price of any watch there is $75, so he lost a profit for no good reason. My advice; avoid at all costs. Go to Sears for your watches, batteries, and resizing. read more

This is the ONLY place I will take my watch collection for service. I have over 15 watches and I trust Time After Time with all of them. One is a 1955 Elgin De Luna 18K White Gold. I have several Michael Kors, Tommy Bahama's, Seikos, Converse, Swiss Army, Envicta. I trust their work implicitly. Not only is their work first rate, their personnel is first rate as well. Michael always has a smile when he greets me. They remember me every single time. They give you an estimate of when your time piece will be ready and it is always ahead of schedule. I had a MK watch with a fogged crystal, I told them I needed a new battery. When I picked it up they said they "I noticed the crystal was foggy so I cleaned it up for you!" I was shocked, my watch looked brand new again! They didn't even charge me. That is the type of service that keeps you coming back! Several of my watches are water rated, they had no issue working on them like some places I'd been to before. I have the utmost confidence in Time After Time, don't take your business anywhere else if you care for your timepiece! DO NOT BUY A WATCH HERE!!!!! Wanted to buy my boyfriend a Nixon watch for his birthday so I headed here and saw what I liked. The watch is usually $500 but he gave it to me for $470. Obviously this deal was too good to be true. As he was boxing up my purchase I asked him, "We're boxing up the Nixon 51-30 right? Just to be sure" and he said "yes" well, when I got home to look at it out of excitement, turns out he sold me the Nixon 48-20. SOLD ME THE WRONG WATCH! I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt thinking he made a mistake so I went back and told him and he apologized and said that he can order the right one. I said okay and that I needed it by Tuesday (my bfs birthday and a good week ahead of time) and he said "I can make it happen" he said he would give me a call "the second it came in" Tuesday came and no call from him so I called and no one answered. Called again and the phone kept ringing. I had to drive over just to talk to this guy and see if my watch came in. He said he was just waiting for ups and that he would call right away. No call. It's now Thursday and no call. So I tried calling and again no answer! I called later and another guy picked up the phone so I KNOW that it is just that guy who doesn't pick up the phone. I went back Thursday and said where is my watch? He said oh for sure Friday or Saturday. So I said I'm leaving for the weekend and I can't get it til Monday so he said he would leave a message when I came. Still no call over the weekend. It's now Tuesday 2 WEEKS LATER!!!! Finally I get a call saying that it will be in tomorrow. I went over there and asked for my money back and walked away. Do not want him to have my business and he shouldn't have anyone else's either!!! Don't buy a watch here if you like to be treated with respect because you definitely won't find any here. I came in needing a new spring pin and battery for a watch. At first I only asked if he had any replacement pins and he kindly took my watch, replaced the missing pin and handed it back to me. I asked how much and he said don't worry about it, just come back when you need something done. So then I let him know I also needed a battery replacement and he said it would only be 10-15 minutes and $10 for my model watch.
