We took food out from this place and we were very disappointed. We ordereded a couple of lamb skewer platters, baba ghanouj appetizer, a falafel salad, a children's chicken finger meal, and an extra vege skewer...my husband, my friend, and I wished we had ordered Chinese instead. The platters were a rip off, it consisted of a lamb skewer which had about 4-5 small pieces of meat and a couple of sides. We picked rice and pita as our sides and the rice was about a couple of table spoons, pita was doughy and under cooked/baked and the vege skerwer that came with the meal had huge chunks of onions and a couple of pieces of green peppers. Moving onto the baba ghanouj...under cooked and tasteless. The falafel, extremely greasy. Children's meal, better of all the meals but only had a cople of stips of chicken. I have definitely had MUCH better Mediterranean. We will never go back to OC Kabob in ocean city, MD. read more

You have to go inside the mall to OC Kabob! Was visiting OC for two weeks this summer and my Mom and I ended up here after shopping. We shared a delicious Greek salad and maza platter with the dipping sauces. Also, the owner and our server came to talk to us and they were SO NICE! Thank you :)! This place is nothing fancy, but the food was excellent. I had the veggie kebab gyro, with the most flavorful tzatziki sauce. The veggies were roasted perfectly. My partner had the spanakopita, which he said was "packed with flavor." It was a bit denser than most spanakopita he has ordered elsewhere, and not as flakey, but he really enjoyed it. The server was very attentive and appreciated our business. A lot of the bad reviews blast the price of the food, compared to the amount you get. We didn't experience this issue at all. We popped in late night. I love middle eastern/Greek food. My friends had never tried it. Staff were helpful and pointed them to the "best" options. Hummus was excellent. Kabobs were nicely seasoned and cooked well- done but not dry or tough. The falafel was perfect. We will definitely visit again. Don't let the strip mall look scare you. Outstanding food and incredibly friendly owner and staff. Great way to try something new if you are interested but hesitant to try Mediterranean cuisine. Great, fresh, healthy options. We had kebabs for lunch, which had fresh tzatziki, and wonderful seasoning on the chicken. My nephew (5) LOVES the hummus and skewered chicken. Great dishes for everyone. We went to the location that's not on the boardwalk (I'm assuming the other one is). This place had plenty of easy parking and seating on a Saturday night, Labor Day weekend. It's attached to a cafe (with a different name) which have me brief moment hesitation as I walked in, but it wasn't an issue. The ambiance was fine--nothing to write home about. You have to order at the register, which is fine. I didn't feel as if I was missing something by not having table service and I saved money on a tip. The food was really good. We are vegeterians.. and find it difficult to find good vegetarian friendly restaurants. Oc kabob has many vegeterian friendly options. Its a small clean and decent restaurant and has an attached cafe. Food was reasonably priced and value for money. We tried all their vegeterian sandwiches and a few appetizers. The baba ganoush and the hummus were great! We enjoyed the baba ganoush sandwich, the falafel sandwich as well as the goat cheese sandwich! The staff is friendly and helpful. For desert, we tried the rice pudding.. that was so-so.. We were too stuffed to have the baklava! :) We will definitely visit this place again! read more

Believe it or not one of our exotic dancers we had hired for my buddies bachelor party told me about this place. She said it is her favorite place to go and she comes here every Sunday on her way back home. I recently converted to being a vegetarian not too long ago and am still learning about meat substitutes and protein sources. I ordered exactly what Quinn told me she gets lol which was the falafel on a pita sandwich with this vegan sauce, side appetizers pita and hummus, and side of babaganoush and pita. Wow I dunno what babaganoush is it's different than I ever had and really enjoyed it. Never thought eggplant dip could taste that good! At the front counter there were these little desserts, asked the cashier what it was... Baklava. Not vegan but is vegetarian by the way! It was delicious and moist. I ate at another place that had falafel the night before based off of a late night recommendation from our bachelor party stripper and this place I did like a little better their falafel sandwich and hummus appetizer. 2 of my boys got the same as me and also are now big fans of falafel! maybe I can turn them vegetarian?!? I found this spot by searching "fast casual" while in Ocean City, MD, which is FILLED with sit-down restaurants, both chains and mom-and-pop joints. The food was EXCELLENT-- the chicken and veggies were fresh, the rice was soft, and everything was beautifully seasoned. OK, I was in the mood for grilled chicken. So I swung by for a quick bite. I make my own kabobs (pork and chicken....aka souvlaki) at home and I am very picky. I am a bit of a Mediterranean food snob. I am a no frills kind of eater. I got just a chicken kabob sandwich and one on the skewer. The prices are actually very good. The skewer was $5.95. That is cheap considering this is OC in season. I do not take this next phrase lightly. The chicken kabob I had there was the best chicken kabob I've had at any restaurant. Fantastic. Juicy and unbelievable flavor. The seasoning was awesome. It was so good that halfway through my meal I ordered another one to go. Another plus, the owner was super cool. Like the nicest guy you'll meet. I had a great conversation with the man. Lastly, unlike many other Ocean City locations, parking is not an issue. It is located in an old mall. Food is EXCELLENT!!! I don't understand the reviews I read that said portions are small. I got a lamb kabob platter. The lamb skewer had 5 large chunks of DELICIOUSLY seasoned lamb. It was served with a skewer of grilled vegetables, flavorful couscous and a fresh house salad. The servings of couscous and salad were each about 2 cups. I don't know how someone can eat that much food and say it wasn't enough. Quality and flavors could not be better. If you like Mediterranean food, you will not be disappointed by OC Kabob! read more
