Very basic place for coffee. I felt like the layout was confusing. The matcha was meh. I mean even the color was off. Staff were very nice but will probably not return again. Drinks were ok.

We saw the owner interviewed on a local news program and decided to try Bai-tee for lunch on a cold Friday in December. First thing we noticed was all the employees had coats on. They informed us the heat wasn't working and wouldn't be fixed for a couple days. We recognized the owner at the back of the restaurant and, instead of greeting us (we were the only patrons), he turned around and walked into the kitchen. Maybe he was stressed about the heating situation, I don't know, but it certainly didn't give us good vibes. Even though we knew we would be eating with our coats on, we decided to stay and order something warm. I would have loved to take advantage of the ocean view but it was too darn cold so we stayed toward the back of the restaurant. I had a very good cappuccino and my partner had a flat white. My drink had a nice thick layer of foam on top...well done! Sugar and a spoon were provided upon request. We both had versions of an egg sandwich: mine was on thick cut country bread with an over-easy egg, melted brie, arugula, and sun-dried tomatoes. It also came with a nice side of fruit. My partner had an open-faced poached egg sandwich that came with garlic labneh, caramelized onions and Aleppo pepper. He couldn't taste the pepper & asked for Tabasco. I know eggs cool off pretty quickly, however, because the entire restaurant was cold, our meals were really cold. Some of the desserts looked interesting. You can also buy a loaf of their country bread for only $10 which is a good price. The servers and the coffees were the only "warm" things to recommend. I can't see returning.

We stopped here after walking nearly 40 blocks as we headed south to the amusement park and fishing pier. In need of a light dessert, we found the perfect spot with a few delectable desserts from Bai-Tee. We ordered the cinnamon and sugar muffin that was literally consumed by my daughter before I could snap a picture. That's how good it was! I had the delectable cheese danish with a light and flaky coating around the outsides and a solid yet tasty base to support the cheese danish itself. The chocolate chip cookies were a treat that we all shared. The soft bite showed how fresh and airy the cookie is. Delicious! The best part was being able to eat our desserts on the balcony of the Bai-Tee restaurant overlooking the ocean and boardwalk. The afternoon was so laid back and relaxing about table that we received the much-needed break from walking that allowed us to continue on our journey towards the fishing pier. We highly recommend this bakery and cafe for your dining pleasures. You will not be disappointed.

Was excited to try this newer spot Bai-tee on the boardwalk thanksgiving morning. What an outstanding experience. Service was beyond perfect. Best latte I've had in a long time and served with a biscotti. The parfait was delicious and a huge serving. The breakfast was so unique and flavorful. We ate on the deck with our pup and had a perfect view for the turkey trot runners!

This bakery and cafe is a hidden treasure of the Ocean City boardwalk, with it's chic decor, relaxing music, extremely friendly/attentive staff and delicious food I will definitely return. I split two items with my wife and pup, we started with the Labneh (yogurt with whey removed) parfait which was salty and complemented perfectly by fresh blueberries, blackberries, strawberry and raspberries whipped up with cardamom-orange blossom honey, and tahini infused granola. I ended up wanting a little more honey after we had finished the parfait ingredients but it was a very nice start to the day. We also got the Simple Breakfast with eggs over medium, smashed red potatoes, sujuk sausage, lamb bacon, blackberry jam and hearth toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly, tasted great and despite being outside in 50-ish degree weather didn't become frigid. The smashed red potatoes had a great consistency more in line with roasted potatoes than a hash brown or home fry. The sausage felt very much like a kabob and was excellent on the very crusty hearth toast. The lamb bacon had the texture of your standard pork bacon and tasted like lamb, different but definitely as advertised. The coffee was excellent, I don't drink much coffee but enjoyed it as I sipped some of my wife's cinnamon toast crunch latte and watched the boardwalk with her and our dog from their excellent patio seating. We will be returning during the summer or next Thanksgiving without question.

While spending a relaxing weekend in Ocean City, after walking what felt like endless feet of the boardwalk, we pleasantly & surprisingly came across this bakery and it was absolutely the cutest! The bakery was decorated super cute, such garden vibes! The drinks were delicious and nicely made. The baked goods were so flavorful and made with love! The service was amazing as well !

Just opened recently, bai-tee is a PERFECT upscale coffee shop added to the boardwalk. The open air and plentiful outdoor seating allows you to fully enjoy the beach while sitting down to a nice breakfast or lunch. The food was top notch quality as well. The ham and cheese croissant was good, the farro bowl was plentiful with fresh ingredients, and the cookies were pure goo in the middle! I don't think I've found a better cookie in ocean city. I will definitely make this a more regular boardwalk stop for me. I want to try more on the menu!

A brand new Mediterranean fusion restaurant in Ocean City next to The Commander hotel and suites in Ocean City, MD. Hidden Gem with an Underrated Name! My husband and I were lucky enough to be one of the first to visit Bai-tee Bakery & Café in Ocean City, MD -- a brand-new spot open less than two weeks. The name "Bai-tee" (which means "my house" in Arabic) might make you think this is just a coffee and pastry shop... but don't be fooled. That name seriously undersells what this place offers. Yes, the coffee is excellent and the baked goods are a nice treat -- but the real star of the show is the food. The sandwiches were absolutely phenomenal -- packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and a touch of home-cooked care that's hard to find in most beachside spots. This isn't just a place to grab a croissant and cappuccino (though you can do that too). It's a place where you should sit down, eat a real meal, and savor the menu. Honestly, they might want to rethink the name just to reflect how good the actual food is -- it deserves to be front and center. Peter, the owner received us with a warm welcome warm welcome and the courteous staff made us feel at home . We'll definitely be back. Ocean City has a new hidden gem.

Amazing service! Food! Ambiance! So hip and love the way it is run. Efficient. Top tier food. Shashuka, cookie and croissant. Great view too. Felt upscale without high prices. Fairly priced for what you get.

This little bistro is so special. It's like being transported Europe or the Middle East. Gracious staff - beautiful food made from real ingredients and the very best coffee all in a cafe that looked like it's been preserved in time.

To get to the seating area, you walk by a large bar at the front. It was a bit off-putting, as it wasn't clear to me whether the place was a bar with food or a restaurant. Once you settle in at your table, it's clear it's a restaurant. My partner and I shared the Appetizer platter, which includes Hummus, Dolma, Baba Ganoush, Cous Cous, Eggplant Salad, Potato & Bean Salad, & yogurt. It also comes with pita bread, cut into small slices/triangles. You can also order falafel as an add-on, at $2 per falafel ball. The appetizer platter items were all good. The pita was a bit hard and didn't have much flavor. it was also a small portion of pita - we ran out fairly quickly. The falafel balls were also very good. Crunchy on the outside, but moist and flavorful inside. Really good falafel. The service was fine. We did have to call the staff over to fill water glasses. Service could have been better, considering the restaurant wasn't crowded. My beef with the place is the price. The platter is $27.99, and $2 each for falafels. I think that's a high price point for the platter. At a minimum, it could include 2 falafel balls to help better justify the high price.

All were perfectly seasoned and prepared. Extremely flavorful! Our servers were quite welcoming and helpful. We finished with some shared desserts - baklava and a large piece of revani cake, along with a well prepared Turkish coffee. This evening's dinner followed a few very average beach town dinners, and was a joy and a surprise. Absolutely recommended.

OC Street Food has their menu proudly displayed outside and I was so happy to see all vegan items clearly labeled. I decided to stop in as my first meal in Ocean City. I ordered the falafel pita with fries as well as grape leaves. The falafel pita was a WINNER. The falafel is so soft inside with a perfectly fried exterior. It exceeded my expectations and I would definitely go out of my way to order more of this falafel. Overall the pita sandwich was delicious and well sauced. The fries were standard fries that my toddler enjoyed. The grape leaves were good but a little pricey. I know grape leaves are a labor of love and they were delicious. I probably would try a different side in the future to get a little more bang for my buck. The person taking my order was so kind. In addition to the amazing falafel I enjoyed the hospitality and was surprised to get such a warm welcome from a business in a mall. Thank you OC Street Food for an amazing vegan meal and I look forward to coming back again!

I never know what to expect when I order from one of the many restaurants in Ocean City, Maryland…read more I decided to go the Mediterranean route, and OC Street Food definitely did not disappoint. If you have the desire for Mediterranean food on the go, this place will not disappoint (I ordered them through DoorDash because it was raining like crazy). The prices are like everywhere else in this beach town...slightly more than I would expect to spend on a meal served in styrofoam containers, but for the price you get your money's worth. I ordered the beef and chicken kabob combo. The meat was nicely cooked, delicious sliced, and arrived still warm enough not to have to reheat in the microwave. It was served over deliciously flavored rice, a small bit of salad in the side, and a few small pieces of soft pita bread. My wife ordered the salmon kabob combo. It was comprised of two decent sized pieces of nicely cooked fish coated in Mediterranean spices. It was also served over rice with a small side salad and a few pieces of pita bread. We also ordered the crumb cake and the Greek jam tart. The crumb cake was a good sized piece for the price, and delicious. The jam tart was quite possibly my favorite part of the entire meal. It reminded me of what it would be if you combined a pie and a cake with strawberry jam inside of it. Absolutely worth trying and the price. I definitely suggest this place to anyone hankering for some Mediterranean flavors but don't feel like eating out to do so.
