Had a wonderful lunch today at Dublin 4. Danielle was our amazing server and is always so kind and efficient. Sam came by and said hello and we chatted a while and she was glowing with excitement over her upcoming wedding to Drew. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is always positive and upbeat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] England and Croatia were in the big screens TV in their world cup competition. We started with the Guinness bread and drinks. Oh that bread is amazing. My wife had her favorite gastro burger and I had the Salmon. Good food, good times and good people. Highly recommended

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Your typical Irish bar but with a modern twist.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was definitely packed and lively here on a Friday night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I liked it much better than most very dark and dirty Irish bars I've been to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was interesting because they had very nice antique Irish bar touches inside while feeling modern.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The dirty martini was delicious and bucatini surprisingly tasty as well. The pasta tasted super fresh and was perfectly al dente. This is the sister restaurant adjacent to Wineworks for Everyone. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you're looking for a quieter and more intimate experience, stop by the Wineworks side.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you're looking for a lively social time, swing by Dublin 4.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Another great experience at D4. This time we started with the jalapeño cornbread (4.5/5 - this tastes great but is difficult to eat as it falls apart with each bite) and the potato leek soup (5/5 - amazing especially with the tiny little potatoes and bacon lardons). For the mains, we had the fish and chips (always good 4.5/5) and the NY steak (4/5). Washed it down with a Harp. Great meal and great service.

Folks say that you can tell a lot about a person by what some of his favorite dishes are, his go-to regular orders. For me I've always enjoyed a classic bangers and mash. There is profound joy in the simplicity of laying a couple of sausages over mashed potatoes, drizzling some simple gravy, and calling it a day. When it's done right it's hard to beat when you're hungry. Dublin 4 Gastropub gets this right. I enjoyed each bite like a person who had never had had the dish before and was just now awakening to its appeal. The same too with the fish n' chips. That dish like super delicious and I filed it away as a possibility for next time. The service was stellar. The server made sure we were taken care of, our orders came out fast, and we had no issues lingering at lunch. It was the picture of professionalism. [[HIGHLIGHT]]So too was the ambience of the spot. It looked clean, refined, and still welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I could shine other get-togethers here remarking how homey and local everyone feels and how it was just to relax inside because of the decor and flow of the room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is a place the definitely deserves checking it out again.

I regret having to take away a star, but I was a bit disappointed after my recent visit. The calamari portion was significantly smaller than what I've had in the past; lots of arugula for filler, it seemed. It was also tough, chewy and pieces were small. It wasn't good. The brie was delicious as usual. Service was great, but prices are high for what you get and I'm a little tired of their happy hour menu options.

Came in and stopped by after a family photoshoot and I was pleasantly surprised!!!!! While this isn't the first time I've been here... I totally thought I missed the kitchen hours for lunch! But upon arriving a few minutes past 2:30, Phil the bartender was more than happy to run my food order back to the kitchen!!!! Seeing that I was starving I was so happy and thankful! Of course you can't come here and not order the Rubin rolls! They are absolutely delicious!!!! I've been dreaming about them for about a year. And... AND you can't visit this place and not get an Irish coffee! They make their own cream and it just makes the world of difference! In addition to the delicious food and drink, it's decorated for CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!! It's beautiful and festive! Thank you again! I'll have to bring my dad back so he knows what a real Irish coffee tastes like!!!!

The most expensive Irish pub I've ever been! Ironic them beer drinking, green wearing, American stealing cuisines are famous for penny pinching and yet here prices nearly doubled compared to all over similar spots I've visited. And a valet? What's next a dude parking my car at In N Out? [[HIGHLIGHT]]At least the atmosphere is fully pumped up to cozy days of yore, staff took great care of us, and the menu tempted us with many a good dish.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We split a reuban app which seemed fantastic but was the one low point, dry, not quite anything appetizing. We did have a lot to love with a burger and cottage pie. Fresh well balanced flavors, rich meaty proteins, easy to eat and chow down. Sadly didn't have space for desserts since the food took a bit of time. I'd say save up for this place and really indulge with drinks, savor the sweet bar vibes, and delight in a dessert.

The citrus dessert is new and very delicious!

This spot was such a great find! [[HIGHLIGHT]]You'd never know from the outside what a high end and beautifully decorated place this is.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were lucky enough to arrive a few minutes before the kitchen closed for lunch. Danielle was very lovely and accommodating to seat us quickly and take took our order. We ordered the chicken sandwich and the lamb burger, both of which were very delicious. Highly recommend the Chapman Pilsner if you want to order a beer. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Really such a beautifully decorated restaurant with a really nice bar that accompanies it right next door.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you Danielle for the great service! This place was a great find!

Usually love this place. But last night at the bar the food was downright awful. My calamari order went to the people who sat down after us instead of us ( bartender totally noticed this and did apologize) and then when mine came, it was so salty I couldn't eat it. My friend ordered mussels and bread ( the bread & honey butter was yummy) - but I tried one of her mussels and it tasted off - by the second one - I gave up and spent the evening in the bathroom with a bum stomach. I ordered a jalapeño Margarita not on the menu that was okay but not nothing to rave about. I give the bartender effort but she only put one tiny slice of jalapeno? should have just stuck to a cider. Very unhappy about how my tummy reacted to their menu!

Had another great experience at this place. We ordered the Dublin 4 Burger and the Chicken Panini. The food did not disappoint and was delicious. The service was prompt and attentive. Our waitress did an outstanding job. There are several table seating options, all of which are comfortable.

    Is there happy hour?

Yes, I know for a fact there was HH on Friday, not sure about other days of the week. Best to call them direct. They're very approachable on the phone.

    What is high top?

High top tables accommodate guests at bar stool level. High top stools have comfortable back supports. We hope that this answers your question adequately. All the best.

We got there on a Saturday around 3:30 pm and the bar was already packed with regulars. (Thats always a good sign) We sat at one of the bar round tables and got a couple beers and some food. Our server was incredibly helpful and friendly. Going to far as to modify a meal for my husband, who keeps a strict diet. I got the short rib and mash, and it was really flavorful. When we ordered drinks, the bartender already seemed a bit rude and unwelcoming, which set the tone for the visit. To avoid any issues and just enjoy ourselves, we decided to sit outside quietly. Unfortunately, the situation got worse. Two employees came outside and approached us in a very disrespectful way and made a racist remark, referring to us as "two tequilas" and saying "clean up those two tequilas," basically telling us we needed to leave immediately. It was extremely uncomfortable and offensive. No customer should ever be treated that way. Restaurants and bars should be places where everyone feels welcome and respected. Allowing employees to behave in a racist and disrespectful manner toward customers is unacceptable. What makes it even more disappointing is that I was actually considering bringing a group of coworkers here in the future. After this experience, I absolutely won't be doing that. The service was rude, unprofessional, and completely ruined what should have been a relaxing afternoon.
