I was looking for a company to come in and clean my place like it was there own, $150.00 twice a week to clean sheets, organize clothes, etc. What do we get? Just generic cleaners, sheets, pillow cases filthy, they don't even look BUT THE MAIN THING IS THEY DESTROYED ALL OF MY TAILORED RALPH LAUREN SUITS. Instead of reading the tag that says "Dry Clean Only", the ladies threw all of my jackets and pants into the WASHER, they're permanetly wrinkled and about 5 sizes too small, nearly ten thousand dollars in hand tailored suits DESTROYED. I now have nothing to wear to work. Apology? No, they try to blame the customer. We are suing this company for damages and restitution, they're utter lack of care, lack of training has cost me a lot of money, do NOT use this company, if they do something wrong and you tell them they'll blame you. read more

We had a party on Thursday evening, and our regular lady was not available for us on Friday, so we called OC Maids. When it turned out the party was not as messy as I had anticipated, I had them come anyway knowing there was a cancellation fee. They just did OK. In 3 1/2 hours, for twice as much money as my regular lady and with three times as many people, they did about the same job. They clean the floors and the countertops, didn't really take care of cobwebs like I had asked, didn't do laundry like our regular lady does, and left some things in strange places (for example, the nozzle on the sink comes out to spray was left dangling halfway out.) I needed a last minute deep clean since my realtor suggested I should get it done before we get some photos done of our home with was in 3-4 days. I was super relieved that they were able to squeeze me in on Thursday. A day before I was getting photos done. I'm horrible with names, I forgot the two ladies' names. They did an amazing job. This helped us out so much. We've been packing for a couple of weeks. Personally, my wrists started to hurt the day before. It was perfect timing they were able to get everything. It took them about 4 hours. They deep cleaned our bathrooms, kitchen, all our floors, and dusted everything. I had an absolutely wonderful experience with OC Maids. First, the owner Jennifer is very attentive and meticulous. She tries to make sure that the cleaning crews are on time and that there's 100% satisfaction. She replies to messages within minutes! I've used many cleaning services before but none were ever like Faviola and Kathy. They were so thorough with everything! They even wiped down our high chairs and scrubbed my stainless steel kettle clean although I didn't ask for it. They even moved my couch to vacuum underneath! My experience with this company was disappointing. The first crew used vinegar to clean the shower without my knowledge and left the master suite smelling like vinegar. The second crew used regular cleaning products but the overall impression is that while the people are friendly, the cleaning is not thoroughly done and generally roughly finished. The biggest disappointment was when one of the silver spoons I use daily had disappeared after the last cleaning. I had used this spoon right before the crew walked in and washed and left it in the dish rack so I knew where it should be. The manager said unless I have a video to prove it, there is no way the spoon was taken by her crew. I didn't think it was worth my time and energy to proceed with any action but decided to share it on Yelp as a reference for others who like myself appreciate honest reviews. read more

I had a good experience with my first set of house cleaners from OC Maids and decided to hire them again for another house cleaning job but was disappointed with this new set of housecleaners. I believe the main housecleaner did a decent job and was responsive to my requests but the other housecleaner didn't do a great job. For example, my shutters, shelves and cabinetry were still dusty, and the stovetop still had grease stains. It was an empty house for move in but I ended up having to clean the house afterwards. read more

I hired OC Maids for a move out clean on the condo we were renting. Being 9 months pregnant and having just moved I didn't have the energy to come back and clean - so we reached out and connected with KENYA and she was so detailed, thorough and sweet. They are reasonably priced and the service is wonderful. We let the ladies into the home but couldn't stay while they were there. We left them with the check and told them we'd come back to lock up. Overall good response from the owners but I just don't think I can recommend the service. I hired OC Maids for a 2 hour cleaning service. I actually just had the house deep cleaned about 3 weeks prior but I was looking for people to "maintain" the house in between. The company I used charged a flat rate, I wanted to see what an hourly service gets me. The owner is prompt in returning messages and accommodated a short notice. I spoke with a gentleman on the phone and I described my house situation - no pets, no kids with master bedroom and bath as priority room followed by the guest bath (the toilet is literally the only thing we use it for so the shower is practically just dusting). Then finish with the Kitchen area/wood floors and powder room. They do not need to even vacuum. I was told on the phone the cleaners will come in with their own cleaning stuff including extenders for dusting as they do not use ladders. I said that's perfect I don't want any ladders in my house. First I don't want the liability of anyone falling. Second, I have newly renovated marble bathrooms I don't want it scratched. When something is done in my house the contractors always lay out cloth covers to protect our carpet and marble floors. When Kenya and Antonia (?) arrived I gave them same instructions. First thing Kenya says to my husband is she can't make the grout white in my brand new bathroom. LOL! My husband and I just kinda looked at each other. And when we told her no ladder (coz she brought one in) she kept saying "I don't understand". I wasn't sure if it's language barrier or if she's questioning our request. But she spoke English. So we told her that's what discussed on the phone, that they will use extenders for dusting if needed. We asked her to use the spray we have for the mable floors and she said they use soapy water only. We asked her to use the product we like to prevent mold. In the 2 hours they were only able to clean the kitchen/wood floor, master bathroom and guest bathroom. Didn't dust the master bedroom and didn't clean the powder room/toilet. So 2 bathrooms and the Kitchen in a house with no pets and no kids literally just detailed less than a month ago. I would say if you are in same shoes I'm in you can get your money's worth by supervising their work but who has time for that and I really didn't want to do that. And I was hoping they would be able to accomplish the task without being monitored/delegated. Kenya can definitely hustle but I didn't get that impression with Antonia. She seems to rely on direction from Kenya who is not really good with "managing" or delegating to her partner. Kenya is a worker bee though. One could've handled the upstairs while the other started in the kitchen and budget the work based on the time they have. When they went over the time, I brought it to Kenya's attention because she mentioned they have another assignment. She tell me it's OK she's not going to charge me for the extra time. LOL!. I was going to extend the service another hour just to allow them more time to finish but they said they will be late for the next appointment. I'm sure they deal with different requests from people on products or equipments to use/not use, but somehow I felt being questioned every step of the way when I asked for what I prefer for them to use/do. Something I was told on the phone wasn't a problem. There was a lot of miscommunication with the worker once the actual cleaning begun. The quality is decent but they had 2 hours for the little amount of work accomplished. read more

OC Maids was great. I had done my best to keep up with the cleaning of my 2.5 bed 2 bath town home but the bathrooms needed some TLC and with a dog and a cat, there is always pet fur all over. Kenya was so sweet and accommodated my last minute scheduling request and the team had such attention to detail, vacuuming the couch, cleaning the blinds and deep cleaning in the bathrooms.
