Had a rear flat on my son's E bike. They did a great job with scheduling and replacing the flat. I kind of wished they would be more helpful with the breaks but was told they were pretty much junk and not worth adjusting or checking over apparently which they probably were and that I should probably change the breaks to hydraulics. Now my son has a E bike that he can't ride after tires were fixed bc his breaks are now shot. I will need to call someone again to have those checked out again. read more

I have a Kaabo Mantis scooter with hydraulic brakes. Joey came by my house promptly to fix it for me. He was honest with me from the start that the type of brakes on my scooter are low quality and that bleeding them might not work. I asked him to give it a shot anyways, even if he had to replace them. While he couldn't replace, he did successfully bleed them and now it's as good as new! It was Saturday, 6 AM, 40F outside, and I was geared up for a ride - rolled down the driveway about 10 feet and my rear tubeless tire just SPLAT! FLAT! everywhere with my sealant making a mess of everything. No biggie, put some air in it...but nothing worked. I took out the valve core, poked around, tried to seat the tire to to the rim, but with the little knowledge I had, I still couldn't get air in the tire or seat it properly. Disappointed, I figured I'll wait until Monday to go to my local bike shop. However, I checked on Yelp for mobile bike mechanics on a whim, found a few, and liked what Joey had on his reviews even though it was minimal. I asked if he would be able to squeeze me in maybe in the AM or if it's easier, I would go to him to get it fixed. Luckily, he was going to be in my area (YES!) mid-morning and was able to get me on his schedule. He came on time and even though I let him know he was able to park on our driveway, he set up shop on the street and was ready to go! Needless to say, not only did he fix up my original issue of the rear tire not seating, he topped off my sealant (I had a bottle of Orange that was already in the tires) as it was due, fixed my brakes, adjusted my cassette, and, I mean, basically a tune-up! Road tested as well and made sure I road tested before he took off...his pricing, service, and knowledge were top notch! He made a few suggestions to replace my chain and brakes at a very reasonable cost so I decided to have him make those repairs as well.
