Our boat experienced a minor issues an hour into our rental. Jayden came right out to help us and the business made everything right when we arrived back to check out. Been here twice, this year and two years ago, for jet ski rentals and had a great time. Guides are great, and looked after those in our group that were uncomfortable going fast to begin with. After the spending time in tue big ride area everyone was comfortable and we all made the return trip just fine. Totally recommend, have two 16 year olds this year and they had a great time on their own skis this year. read more

We had the misfortune of renting a pontoon boat from Under the Bridge Watersports July 5, 2023. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE. From the beginning of our day the engine seemed to starve for fuel. Hard to get a read as NONE of the gauges worked. We called. Was it running out of fuel? No it's full they said. No comment from them about the engine fuel starving. I also mentioned the nonfunctional gauges. No response to that either. Later in the day the engine would fuel starve again and again. And again. Couldn't do any more tubing (why we rented). Kind of ruined it for my family. Docked and told them the problems and asked for a credit. Perhaps a simple jet-ski rental. Their replies: "We're very reasonable -- but maybe you did something to it." We're very reasonable -- but maybe you did something to it." We're very reasonable -- but maybe you did something to it." Said 6, 7 times maybe more. NO WE DID NOTHING TO CAUSE IT. At the end they did nothing for us except say: "We're very reasonable -- but maybe you did something to it." RENT ELSEWHERE. read more

We had two activities lined up for one of the days we were in OC. Jet skiing in the morn and evening parasailing. The weather turned so we tried to reschedule with both. The parasailing company was helpful and rescheduled us and ultimately refunded our money (without us even asking). The jet ski place "under the bridge water sports" tried gas lighting us and then ultimately took our money without rendering any services. They claimed "that's just how it is". So in summary, go anywhere else but here for reserving any water sport activities unless you want your money stolen. And, if you have also been a victim of Under The Bridge Watersports, please call the BBB and add your complaint to the ongoing list. read more

Was staying fairly close to Under the Bridge Watersports and passed by this place in our travels and looked them up. After seeing the good reviews, we're fortunate enough to be able to make reservations for the same day. Booked a total of three jet skis for myself and two kids (18 & 16). My daughter was old enough to have her own which made her happy. We showed up 45 minutes prior to our time for the briefing and standard paperwork procedures and liability releases and were ready to go. After a brief lesson, we were zipping across the water in no time to our designated riding area. Once there, we were allowed to ride around at our leisure. Riding area was pretty big. Only downfall was a second group arrived in the riding area and while the area was huge, you would often find yourself trying to avoid other jet skis. I'm assuming there are limited area where jet ski comes can operate so they have to share an area. Pretty sure you would encounter same riding areas with other companies as well. All in all, it was a great experience. The staff was great, our guides were awesome, and we had a great experience. Would definitely return back again when in the area read more

Wish it was possible to give more stars! Our daughter and grandson came to the States to visit. They live in Vietnam and due to Covid, we have not seen them in almost 3 years. We wanted them to experience something extra special, and Under The Bridge Watersports was the best of experiences! We received careful and thorough instruction which was a big deal because some of us had never been on jet ski before. We even passed by an island and were able to see some of the famous Assateague horses on our way to the free ride area! It was simply the highlight of our time together! We had a real good experience. Although the spece is limited and you need to pay attention to other boats.

So I am only giving this place two stars because the workers were so nice and helpful but the owner was trying to find any reason to get more money from us. First was the "damage" to the propeller, which had no damage after we checked. Then it was "sand in the motor" We had issues with our boat (which was not our fault - workers stated it was an issue with the actual boat. please be cautious of any rental place attempting to up charge tourist to profit more. Rented and paid for a pontoon for my family.I got there 30 minutes early like the confirmation email said.When we got to the booth their was a large family renting a pontoon boat.After they paid and got out of line.I gave the guy my name and showed him the email.He whispered to another staff that got a manager that told me they didn't have a boat available for me.I mentioned why would you take my money,and he blamed it on the staff and said Sh*t happens.I then said to my wife I should give them a bad review.He flipped out,said shit happens again,and to get the F**k off of his property.That is no way to treat a customer. read more

Genuinely wish I could give this place 0 stars for how clueless the workers are. We called to reserve a 12 person boat days in advanced and when we got there they gave the boat away. Not only did they not care that one of the workers made a mistake they made no effort to help us. When we were on the phone with some other boat company the one worker told us the boat would be coming back in 20 minutes and we could take it out at 2:30, clearly she didn't know what she was talking about because she was wrong and another worker had to correct her. We called to make a reservation for a pontoon boat rental. This company advertised a coupon for buy a 2 hour boat rental, get one hour free- good for any rental 2 hours and over. Upon attempting to make the reservation, the manager told us that the full price was higher than that, and told us that he "didn't believe that price was listed on the website". He also refused to even look at what we were saying or asking. Without any further explanation he states that he is refusing our business and said to find somewhere else to rent and hung up the phone. This place does not have any transparent pricing and their advertising is clearly not correct. read more

Called ahead and spoke to a great customer service rep on the phone who was engaging and super helpful. Originally reserved from 3:45-7:45 a pontoon boat but changed to 12:45 because the boat at 3:45 wouldn't be capable of pulling a tube and they had a boat who came in early that we could have instead. So we got there 30 minutes early to fill out the paperwork and we were off. After a review of the boat with one of the attendants where I tipped him $20, the attendant then gave my stepson a condescending response to his attentiveness regarding boating safety. My stepson and I have been on boats our whole lives and I guess my stepsons awareness about safety(the flares were expired and the attendant said that everything was new. They were from 2018 and expired on June 21) was not something they were used to. So we headed out. The motor started fine but we started to notice it struggling as we crossed the channel to head to Sinepuxent Bay. We then attempted to get to cruising speed but no such luck. The prop just sounded like it was spinning. We couldn't get the boat to go over 10mph and that was at full throttle with the motor shaking on the transom. The trim adjustment was also broken which I thought was weird considering how shallow the bay is there. We called the emergency number and spoke to our attendant who then put the mechanic on the phone. The mechanic attempted to suggest that "it's just a pontoon and they're not really fast". Well we weren't expecting fast. We were expecting functional and capable of pulling a tube. So the mechanic convinced up to give it another go so we tried and it just wasn't going to work out. So we headed back. The next thing we know the mechanic says the prop needs replacing but not a big deal and the boat should be fine. Well we invited them to take it out with us. So they came out with us and saw what we saw. The mechanic tried to excuse it as if we were expecting too much and that most of their customers would've been delighted with the boat. It wasn't until the attendant took over and felt what we felt when he battled an outgoing tide and couldn't get the boat to go more that 4mph at 5000 rpm(we checked our speedometer). We got back and then waited 30 minutes for them to tell us we could wait and they would fix the prop. We asked for a refund to which we had to wait for them to call the boss for approval. They gave us a refund and I asked for a coupon for next time to compensate me for the 2 plus hours wasted. I was told I could either have the refund or get a discount. I was surprised that they didn't feel compelled to compensate me as I remained patient, calm, and professional throughout this experience. I will leave off on a positive note. The woman who worked with me over the phone and to get my refund was wonderful to work with. I hope they have great success in the future. I just hope it comes along with some higher expectations from the staff on how to provide customer service to clients you hope will come back again in the future. read more

The new owners are awesome! We got there a little bit late and they were so accommodating, they even were willing to give us a later time so we could be on the water longer. Anthony was our instructor and he was great! He explained the rules very well and made sure we would all stay safe. He even let us stay out an extra 10 minutes. Not only was all the safe members super nice but unlike other jet ski rentals we went out away from the 50 bridge near the Assateague bridge and didn't just stay on one area going in circles. We had a lot of riding room and the ride out to our spot was honestly the best part. You got to just see parts of ocean city you don't normally see. Showed up to the place had everything ready, we signed all of the papers. They told us it was ready and we moved our stuff onto the boat. After we had moved all of our stuff (multiple bags and a big cooler) they then finally told us that we could not tube on the boat. We paid for the tube and boat in advance and we're expecting to be able to go on it. They said that we were not able to go tubing because someone had given another group the wrong boat. Instead of the boat we were supposed to be given, we got a 12 mph taped up seats boat. Since it only went 12 mph they said we were basically not be able to tube. Extremely disappointed as the business was very unprofessional and not orderly. The audacity for them not to call before showing up, or even tell us before moving our things into the boat is ridiculous. Staff is completely clueless would absolutely not go again. We have rented skis here before and never had a problem until this week. On Monday we reserved a pontoon boat for Tuesday and Jet Skis for Friday. We showed up early on Tuesday as instructed, did all of the paperwork, waited 20 minutes for our reservation time, hauled out cooler and bags down onto the dock and onto the boat for them to then tell us they had bad news, they knew that we reserved a boat fast enough to pull a tube but oops one of the staff gave out the wrong boat(seems to be a reoccurring theme here). They did offer to not charge us for the tube, which would be useless as the the staff member literally called the boat "a slug". They also offered to give us $100 off if we wanted to keep the boat, which we declined because we wanted to tube and they did apologize. Unbeknownst to us our daughter then posted a Yelp review which I'm including. The review was not scathing nor untrue but I guess they don't want people to be aware because they called us Wednesday and CANCELLED our ski reservation, even though my husband who rented the skis didn't post it. I guess they are allowed to screw up but we're not allowed to be upset. read more
