Aaron went far above and beyond to fit us in to his already impacted schedule AND he also did an unbelievably impressive job at packing the PODs. Originally we were scheduled to have 4 smaller pod-type of units from another company (orange logo). They punted us off of our confirmed delivery date twice which left us scrambling to figure something else out with less than a week to do so. While he was on his well deserved vacation, Aaron creatively altered his schedule to accommodate a new date when we decided to hire the actual PODs company. Before that, Aaron was unbelievably understanding when the first company kept telling us they couldn't deliver their "pods" as originally scheduled (twice!). Aaron and his crew were professional from the first phone call to the packing day. He showed up on time and went the extra mile to get everything wrapped and packed into the POD. He securely packed several fragile antique heirlooms that we were concerned about. PODs doesn't include pads and straps like the other company. I bought the pads, but forgot about the straps. Aaron gave us his personal ones so that everything would be secure and packed properly in the POD. Most importantly, Aaron was outstanding when it came to communication. He consistently responded sooner than I expected, timely relayed important information to us and confirmed prior to the packing date. I spoke with Aaron about moving a bathroom vanity up a narrow flight of stairs. Other companies claimed it could not be done or quoted high hourly plus additional expenses. Aaron from OCD Movers made a very fair quote and appointment for the job. Aaron and Steve arrived on time and moved the 200 pound vanity up the stairs within 10 minutes with no problems whatsoever. These guys were incredible. As soon as we requested their help, we received a call from Aaron to go over all the details: what we were moving, where we moving, and when we were moving.The next time we heard from them was about 2 days before the move just to confirm everything and make sure things were still on track. I know this seems like its the way businesses should be run but I think this aspect is one that is always overlooked. The day of the move was a bit chaotic. The truck we reserved from Budget wasn't available so we had to look elsewhere. OCD suggested renting a second truck because of the amount of stuff we had and the size of our new, smaller truck. This ended up being a huge time and cost saver and very thankful of their advice. Something that only comes from their experience. Finally, these guys were hustling the entire time and extremely careful. I could hear them communicating back and forth to ensure that the pieces weren't damaged and how to efficiently load/unload the trucks. Absolutely great experience having OCD Movers help with a recent move. Their communication skills are excellent (e.g. call to confirm appointment, verification of loading/unloading locations, walk-through to identify "what goes/what stays"), even with each other to ensure proper handling of home items. Priced very reasonably, the 2-person team was referred through U-Haul's network of moving companies. In this situation, I rented a truck from u-haul and OCD Movers met me at the property to load and secure moving boxes & furniture; once loaded, they met me at the destination property to unload. OCD Movers came with many of their own supplies to help secure the larger furniture to the truck sidewalls. I used to move a lot of my stuff alone -- maybe could've been done again this time, but for the reasonable price that OCD Movers offers to help with a move, I decided that it wasn't worth risking a hernia or slipped disc in the back. Aaron of OCD Movers is a rockstar! From the point that I reserved his service to move our business, his communication was prompt and professional. He was helpful with pre-move advice and asked a lot of questions so that he and his colleague were fully prepared for the work ahead. The day of the move, unfortunately his helper was involved in a serious car accident. It sounds like he wasn't seriously injured, but his car was totaled and could not work. We would soon see that Aaron is as strong as 3 men. We had an entire office to move including 130+ boxes full of books, 6 Firesafe cabinets (435 lbs each), 10 filing cabinets (350 lbs each, all full). He reminded me of the Hulk, of comic lore, though more professional (and certainly not green or angry). He (with the help of my husband) handled this move in record time, just four hours. I would bet that had Steve, Aaron's helper, been there, things may have gone even quicker, but you'll find no complaints from me. We were fully moved ahead of schedule, despite the setback which enabled us to drive the rest of our cabinets and boxes to our office Riverside and get that unloaded quickly too. We hired OCD Movers to move from a one bedroom apartment in Irvine to a room rental in Mission Viejo, with an additional stop to a storage facility. We selected them from good reviews from the Uhaul website. We rented a storage facility (Storage West in Lake Forest) that offered a free moving truck so we only needed labor for the move. Aaron and Kevin arrived right on time. They came in their own pickup truck loaded with moving blankets, dollies and supplies needed for the move. Because our move involved two locations, they were so methodical in loading the truck a specific manner to make the unloading quite efficient. They were extremely careful with our furnishings. We couldn't believe how quickly they were to move everything down three flights of stairs, including a very heavy couch. These guys are amazing! They worked so quickly & did not damage a single piece of furniture or wall! They were fast, careful and put all our furniture together! I will use them again and I have referred them to others that plan on moving soon. I even posted them on my Facebook page telling my friends how great they are. I have never felt so relaxed after a move. I honestly feel they are part robot. Aaron gave me an estimate before the move and I thought there is no way he would be able to do the move in that amount of time. It took us 30 hours to move out (using 4 people).
