They showed up several hours late with a truck way too small, no boxes, and no tools. It took 5 guys 5 hours just to move my stuff not including unpacking for a minimally furnished 2BR. They carefully wrapped plastic cups yet damaged furniture and appliances. They left many items behind, and I had to make multiple trips to finish the job. One of the movers also tried to flirt. During a move. No. Paid over $2k for this experience. The positive reviews don't line up. At this point, I'm requesting a refund for the damage and the incomplete job. I initially left a positive review, but after reflecting on my experience, I feel it's important to update it. I hired this company last minute, and while the movers showed up and completed a walkthrough, I was not properly informed about the capacity limitations of the truck. After reviewing all of my belongings--including items in the garage--the mover later stated that everything would not fit and that a second day of moving would be required. This lack of upfront communication caused significant inconvenience and additional costs. Because everything was not moved out in one day, my apartment charged me for an extra day of rent, and I also had to pay for a second day of moving services. Had I been informed ahead of time that the truck would not accommodate everything, I would have either rescheduled, arranged for a larger truck, or made proper accommodations with my apartment. Unfortunately, this situation felt avoidable and left me feeling that the situation was not handled transparently. read more

I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. They were slow, unprofessional, and shady the entire process. I specifically booked with them because they told me they had a 2 hour minimum, which was important since I only had a bedroom worth of stuff and the move was under 15 miles. Not only did they arrive hours late, but somehow it took them 2 hours just to load a mattress, loveseat, and boxes. They were barley moving and spent lots of time just sitting in that moving truck instead of moving the items. I mentioned that it shouldn't have taken 2 hours just to load it up, and then magically, unloading the same items only took maybe 15 minutes. Before I even paid, the movers asked me to tip them first, which is odd, but I tipped them both through Zelle. Then the final bill came out to almost $700 for a local 1 bedroom move. They told me they'd adjust it and only charge me for 2 hours, but of course that never happened. I later realized they removed the legs to my entertainment center and never returned them. They also completely lost my full sized mirror. It took weeks of calling just to get ahold of anyone that could "help". When I finally did, they suddenly claimed there was actually a 3 hour minimum, even though I know I was told 2 hours before booking. The manger that I spoke with was not only unprofessional and rude, but he actually said "it doesn't matter if they are slow because there's a 3 hour minimum". That was very telling of the kind of business this is. Then after I filed a claim through them for the missing items, they offered me only $94 total for a $1,200 entertainment center and a $250 mirror. This was because they told me I selected the coverage that only covers 60 cents per pound. I was never given any coverage options, and the only thing I signed was my name when paying. I asked them to show me where I agreed to that coverage and they still haven't provided it. They later offered me $250 so I wouldn't take them to court. I accepted because it not worth the time. However, if anyone reading this looking for a honest and AMAZINGLY priced moving company, I highly recommend PortFlex OC Moving. After noticing this missing items, I decided to go with these guys that were referred to me by a friend and the experience was 1000x better. It took them 1.5 hours total to move the same items into a new place at a FRACTION of the cost. Do yourself a favor and use them instead. read more

I called to ask for a quote and this was the quote that I received. The special promotional rate for 1 truck and 2 movers is $159/hr if you pay with debit/credit card and $149/hr if you pay with cash. I asked the agent who helped book my appointment if there were any other fees and he said "no". On the recorded conversation he did mention "CA double drive time" but he also mentioned that it was included in the 3 hour time frame. So, to verify I asked him one more time if there were any other fees besides the hourly rate and the agent said "no" 3 times. The movers arrived in the morning on the day of the move and the foreman asked me to sign the contract and agree to the drive time before they got started and I stated to him that I was not told there would be other fees and made it very clear "this is not how I do business". After a couple back and forth phone calls, the company said they have a recording that proves that they did mention the drive time to me. But, the manager John offered me an additional discount of $25 on top of the $50 military discount that was initially offered for the trouble. Long story short, I wish the agent that helped me with the appointment was more clear in his communication and would have told me that a drive time is included if I go past the 3 hours instead of using word play to confuse the customers into thinking that there is no other charge than the hourly rate. The 2 movers Edwin & Moises did a great job and helped us out tremendously moving a lot of furniture and boxes. The manager John was able to compensate me $25 more but the drive time came out to $223.50 ($149 x 1.5) and I feel like I should have never been charged this fee in the first place because they failed to make all charges clear during the appointment booking process. The only reason why I decided to go with pro movers was because of their good rates and reviews. But, lesson learned. What one person says and actually does can be different. read more

See this is why you can't trust all yelp reviews. This place somehow has a bunch of great reviews. Yet my experience was honestly horrific. It started out with the drivers coming on time, which was great, one of them who was the foreman was friendly and personable, and the other one was extremely rude from the get-go . He was stomping up and down my stairs, being extremely negligent with my items and scratched and put dents in my walls in multiple places. When I approached the foreman politely to ask, if he could go a little more easy, he assured me that would be no problem. Apparently he spoke to his colleague, and that man felt the need to approach me directly. As a female and paying customer to me, it's never appropriate to have a male aggressively approach a woman asking. "is there a problem with me" in a tone that was like he wanted to fight. He proceeded to be extremely combative and argumentative and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I asked him if he could please stop moving my stuff because I didn't feel comfortable and he repeatedly touched my things breaking plants and so on. I was literally in tears because as a woman by myself with two strange men in my house with one being extremely aggressive, I felt super uncomfortable. I had deliberately sectioned off items that were going to storage and items that were going to my final destination to make the move smooth and efficient. I was repeatedly asked, which items were going to storage even though it was clearly labeled on the box saying "storage". No one paid attention to the labeling, leading to longer move time needing to sort once we arrived to the storage facility. When we got to my final destination, there was five or six items that were supposed to go to storage that I ended up having to go back to take myself at a later time. I was doing a lot of handholding and physically moving at the same time. The drivers got lost multiple times, even though I gave them specific addresses leading to again, a longer move time. Because of the unfortunate events of the situation, I was told that I would receive a "discount" which totaled a whopping $50. Wow! Thanks.. Overall, I paid $700 for incompetent movers. The name of this place should be "unprofessional movers." Never ever again would I use this company. Do not recommend! read more

They started out average but the big guy was a bit slow. They were supposed to remove the existing bed and replace with the one that they brought point A . And assembly them.They didn't reassembled them. And left the old frame (cal king) upstairs and left the new frame(queen)in the garage. Saying the queen mattress will work with the king frame. Obviously it didn't work. They should have used the correct frame. They also claimed they didn't have the tools to assemble the headboard and footboard. There was no kitchen, no beds, no refrigerator--just very minimal items overall. The only somewhat complicated piece was a sauna that needed to be broken down. I also helped significantly throughout the move. The total came out to about $500, which felt high given how small and simple the job was. I expected something like this to be quicker and more cost-efficient. While the team was fine overall, the pricing didn't align with the scope of the move. 12/10/2024 What a blessing Pro Movers are. I called Arvin at the last minute to help move furniture to my father's home after dealing with the passing of my dear mother. Arvin scheduled my move for today between 9am and 11am. I recieved a call from Memo with an ETA and sure enough both Memo and Julian provided stellar packing, loading and moving service. These two wonderful men saw that I was struggling with the loss of mom and were so compassionate and caring not to mention careful with items while wrapping and securing glass etc. These two men, Memo and Julian worked hard and disassembled furniture and even made an extra stop and all the time with smiles and great attitudes. I truly believe they were both Godsent. Julian is also from Colombia where my father was born and we shared commonality and stories. Memo was the lead on the move and what an authentic, professional and kind man. I will never forget them and thank them both for a job well done. Although it started well, this move was a disaster!! I gave Diego all the details about the move and we scheduled 3 people for 4/15. On that day, 2 people showed up and claimed they had no details about the move. They were unable to complete the job because it required moving a piano--this was the NUMBER ONE time I mentioned when scheduling. They rescheduled for the next day but didn't show up. Called the company and they sent another crew by about noon. While they were able to complete the job, the lead mover was extremely unprofessional.
