Danny and his partner were great for our San Francisco condo move. They showed up promptly 30 minutes early. And they were very efficient while careful with the boxes and desks. Clearly experienced at navigating multi-floor condo buildings. Our new home has 3 floors. I especially appreciated how they took care to drop each box off at the desired floor and stacked them nearly to reduce space. Price was also the best out of all the other options I had evaluated for our small move. Great value overall. Fantastic moving experience! From the initial quote & conversation with Daniel to scheduling, to move day. Jake and team arrived on time at 8am fully equipped and ready for our move 65 miles out. They worked with incredible efficiency while taking great care of our belongings. We were worried about the disassembly and reassembly of our king adjustable bed because of the connecting two twin XL bases...easy peasy! OCD Movers just completed a small move for me, taking a couple of pieces of furniture from my house and delivering them to our storage locker. These were older pieces of furniture of great sentimental value, and I wanted to be sure that they were handled with care. Jayson call me the night before the move to go over the details to make sure that he had all of the necessary information. Then, Jayson and Chris showed up on time, carefully wrapped the furniture, carried them down a long flight of stairs, and secured them in their truck. Jake and his crew did a fantastic job, accommodating our needs, packing both trucks to the brim like tetris, working long hours for two days. They really were troopers for putting up with the well tank going on the fritz on one of the hottest days we've had up here, so no flushing toilet, and no swamp cooler for several hours, while they were unpacking furniture and boxes. I took care of them best as I could though, with lots of cold beverages and snacks and food. Make sure you take care of your movers, they work hard, and these guys were the best. Our family moved out of state in the middle of June and we were a total disaster the day the guys arrived. They were all so kind and patient and helpful during a very stressful and emotional time. If you are searching for a mover in the Bay Area by looking at reviews, stop now, these guys are the best. I hired them to move my furniture from Richmond to Hercules at the beginning of November. The crew, Chris, Aaron and Milton were extremely careful, on time, weren't slackers, and were highly professional. Daniel, the owner, responded quickly when I first contacted him. I texted him sone photos of what had to be moved and he was able to schedule a date and give me an estimate very quickly. They were very polite and extremely helpful and upbeat. They didn't complain about anything, even when I asked them to move a couple of heavy potted plants. When we got to my new place, Chris was even nice enough to level the ground under where I wanted one of the plants, so it wasn't on a slant. I also have an antique brass bed that had to be disassembled and they had no problem taking that apart and putting it back together at the new house. I would use them again in a heartbeat if I needed moving services again. I thought pricing was extremely reasonable too and they even did the job quicker than they quoted so I was charged less than the estimate. You well be very satisfied and glad you hired these guys. I used OCD a in 2024 to empty a house and deliver to a storage unit a few hours away; I was impressed. The crew worked non-stop and got it done rather fast with no problems-stayed in contact with me, etc. The price came in a little lower than the original estimate. Everything was explained up front with no hidden fees or surprises. Great experience. This year, I tried to find movers for my house out of state, (Buh Bye California!) and learned a-lot about brokers, third party movers etc. Brokers are expensive and you don't know what you're getting with them and third party movers. Then I remembered OCD. Gave them a call, and BAM! Done. No lay overs, stopping to pick up other loads and waiting for weeks for my property to get delivered. The pricing was much better than going through a broker or a third party mover. They sent 5 guys to finish packing what we couldn't, and they did did a great job! I had a meticulously mounted fish and they made a box for it and packed it gently and well. They wrapped and packed everything with care, and were not sloppy or reckless about it. I appreciated that. They made the two day drive, staying in contact with me the entire time, and unloaded the fully packed truck, not really taking any breaks. (We bought them lunch). I hired OCD when I moved on July Fourth 2015 from a rental to my new home. See the first 3 pictures attached ( Time stamp 4th of July, 2015 ). It was Daniel ( the owner ) with 1 helper and his new puppy " Jack" was helping the moving. Jack-the puppy was in the truck waiting for the movers to finish the job. I would say it is the easiest move within 7 miles. It took only 2 hours from pick up to drop off, from loading to unloading. However; the contract is for 3 hours labors. It makes sense and it is very well worth it. Why?? Because all I care is to be able to move in safely and get it done. I have too many things to worry about in the new home and more process to go from there to unboxing and organizing my new home. And I can't afford if I twisted/ broke my arms. June 2023, I put my house in the market and hired OCD to move me to the rental. It took longer this time as the movers has to individually wrap my utensils, plates, kitchen stuff, leftover food in the refrigerator and even cosmetics. My heart broke as I have to sell my house and I didn't want to pack. I let OCD worked on them and packed them in the boxes. The crews ( Dustin and his helper ) took great care with my kitchen stuff and patiently working on wrapping them individually with paper wraps. I moved safely to the new rental. Months later in 2023, I hired OCD for the 3rd time to move to a new home on December 30, 2023. This time the same movers helping ( Dustin and his assistant ). It took a little over 3 hours and it was a lot of work as the house is located in the hill and the truck can't pull to the driveway. There are narrow stairs inside the house as well. A lot of heavy lifting and you can just bumping into the wall and slipped in the stairs. None of that happened. They are professional movers. OCD makes it easy for me. They will ask which containers go to which rooms and they remember the details. They worked diligently and efficient. Daniel and his staffs are friendly, easy going, and work hard. Let them do the work because you have too much of other stuff to do after the moving done. Be kind to yourself. read more
