    After reporting a furnace issue (ignitor continually activating after burner was ignited and blower…read morerunning) to my home warranty company, they sent a contractor technician. He diagnosed that the blower needed to be replaced. (I am a certified aero engineer, so am familiar with ignition and burner systems) When questioned about the continuously activating ignitor, he indicated that the continuously running ignitor was "normal." When I sowed him online that the continuously activating ignitor was not normal and could be dangerous, he didn't 52 minutes researching Google on his cell phone and did not change his diagnosis or estimate fir cleaning the fan and replacing the blower that was working fir an additional $240 over the warranty's initial service fee. I called highly recommended Air Systems Solutions in Ventura, CA who arranged for a technician visit the next day. He was very courteous and did a very thorough job and replaced the ignition panel. Aside from the part itself, the service fee was less than half of the original contractor's estimate. Highly recommend work from Air Systems Solutions in Ventura CA.

He spent several hours troubleshooting and fixing the system, refusing to give up until everything was up and running properly. What really stood out was his communication throughout the entire process. He kept us informed every step of the way, explaining what he was doing and what to expect. My father was in Air Force so this is what initially drew me to them. Went to their website and it looked like a nice family run business which is why I leaned further into their direction when making a decision on whom to contact. If I remember correctly my first method of contact was sending an online request for quote or appt. I dont recall waiting long for a response at all. I believe I received a same-day or next day response. Friendly, not overly technical or complicated (thank goodness), just kept it simple. Explained what they do and was collaborative in scheduling a date/time amicable to both parties. First impression - absolutely nailed it. Over the next few years they were my only goto for anything AC related. And it has always been the same technician that came out. Friendly, company branded attire, and always explained things in a way for a complete novice to understand. I pointed out company branded attire which one may not think it that important, but after years of going through a "home warranty company" which sent out techs in stained white tee shirts, khaki shorts and flipflops, having a properly dressed person is now one of the make-or-break qualities I seek from any professional. This brings me to a couple of years ago when my last AC unit completely went out to which there was no fix or revival in the cards. There was only one deliberate choice to turn to. They honored the quote I was given, there was no surprise fee or charges whatsoever. Not that i was expecting those as over the years having been a customer of theirs, they have operated with nothing but honesty and integrity. The team that came out worked in the hot sun and those few moments where I had a few minutes to look at them work, they just moved around each other like it was almost a choreographed dance. Very impressive! They went well above and beyond what was already a high expectation. After the team left, after what would undoutebly be an exhausting day, one would never have known they were even here save for one meticuolously installed/working AC unit. It has now been almost 2 years since the install and i'm coming up to schedule the next annual maintenance appt. One of those rare yearly expenses where I am actually pleased to have with absolutely no reservations whatsoever. This being a family business, I take confidence in that this will be around for generations. Even mentioned this business to my family in Simi should they ever be in need.

    I personally had a great experience today in a bit great time of my life lol…read more My water heater has been leaking for days and I just found out it has a warranty left in it for five more days. I had to look for a place that services my Brand of water heater, is reputable, and available! They were able to come out SAME DAY and kept me informed throughout the day of changes in eta. There was a pretty big change in eta but that worked out for me because I was just leaving work to meet their technician. The technician (Roberto Ramirez) was kind and patient and explained what COULD be wrong and what was ACTUALLY wrong. He told me what to look for in the future and possibly how to prevent it from happening again. He told me how to maintain it going forward and some other tips and tricks that might help extend the life of my water heater. Additionally, he contacted the warranty company and worked with them to get the needed part today at zero cost to me which you would think might annoy a company or technician but he didn't seem bothered at all. I appreciated the time put into explaining everything to me as well as fixing the equipment. Would recommend. PS look online for coupons or specials to mention :-)

    We just had a newborn and our AC system was no longer blowing cold air. It's a unit that's less…read morethan 4 years old that came with our new construction. I feared it was the compressor and that it would a long time to receive parts having to go through a warranty claim and with current supply chain issues. I called Matt at 805 Elite and he came that same day, inspected the system and found out it was just the capacitor! He also gave me the option of choosing the quality of replacement parts, most folks will toss in a cheap overseas made product, but Matt carries quality made in america parts which I gladly went with. You can immediately see the difference in the quality of the capacitors just from visually seeing the parts. My service experience was great, Matt explained my options and also provided advice on things to adjust and add to the system in the future, that I'll certainly be looking into. I'm an engineer by profession, and always appreciate people that truly knowledgeable on their craft. He'll be my go to for any HVAC related issues or concerns moving forward. Call with confidence.

He was paid in full-- over $30,000--for seven AC units, and not a single one of them works. On top of that, he stole over $8,000 worth of equipment that was paid for and never delivered. He never even connected the units to the power panel, making them completely useless. To make things worse, he left a massive hole in the wall, creating a safety hazard that we now have to pay someone else to fix. This man took the money and ran. Absolutely unprofessional, unethical, and should not be in business. Avoid at all costs unless you want to be ripped off.

He was able to come out the same day and service our system. He added Freon, installed a new nest thermostat for us, and added dampers to our ductwork to balance the airflow in the home. I can't speak highly enough for the quality of his work and the integrity of the service. He worked quickly and efficiently. He was more than respectful to my elderly mother and followed all COVID safety procedures. Friendly and efficient, the work was done quickly - including running to the store for parts. I've had a lot of bad experiences in the past with HVAC contractors, I have to say, I will never go anywhere else again for service. Thanks so much Tom. The cold air feels wonderful and is perfectly balanced in the home now. His prices were VERY AFFORDABLE. I can't recommend Tom at Espa Air highly enough to you!

He showed up with a mask, his toolkit, and a great deal of professionalism. I'm the kind that hovers over a technician's shoulder because I just love to know how everything works and Tom patiently explained lots of stuff about how AC units work...and why mine wasn't. He was able to procure the correct parts and fix my unit quickly and got me back up and running. I held off writing this review until my AC unit had weathered a couple heat waves to make sure that the work Tom had done held up.
